CHAPTER:1
Izuku was headed to the doctor's office today to finally find out what his quirk was. Izuku had been conspiring with his best friend Kacchan on what Izuku's quirk was. Since his dad was a top 20 hero, who was pretty strong and had a fire breathing quirk while his mom had telepathy, Izuku thought he was going to be able to become a strong and awesome hero like his dad.
"Sorry to break it to you, kid. But you should just give up on being a hero. You're Quirkless." said the old doctor, sitting on his chair as Inko and Izuku were absolutely shocked as Izuku dropped his All Might and Hifuki action figures before Inko finally responded; "B-but how?! Both my husband and I have quirks, surely there is a mistake here, right?".
"Truly sorry Mrs. Midoriya, but your son here is Quirkless. Here, you see this x-ray?" said the elderly doctor as he pointed to the x-ray on the wall, which showed Izuku's left foot. "Data shows that all Quirkless people have a double jointed pinky toe while people with quirks don't, so as I said before, your son is Quirkless. Oh well, what can you do?" finished the doctor as Inko picked up her son's action figures as she stood up, Izuku standing up as well, taking his action figures back before he and Inko left after saying farewell to the doctor.
When Hisashi came home after a long day of hero work, he was surprised to find his home mostly dark and quiet except for his family's loud sobs he'd grown to know. Hisashi knew something had happened for his wife and son to be sad, but he was tired after a long day so he quickly got into casual clothes as he approached his son's room, where the sobs were coming from. As opened the door to see his wife, kneeling down to hug their son tightly, and his son, wearing a very fake smile, staring holes into the wall behind Inko with eyes just showering water.
Out of the corner of the room he could see his son's laptop play the video of his and Toshi's first time team tagging on a mission, where Hisashi and Toshi took down the group of villains attacking and saving everyone on the scene within 7 minutes, impressive since it was an entire hotel of people in a 12 story burning hotel.
"Hey." Hisashi began as his wife turned to where Hisashi's voice sounded and replied; "O-our son is-is-is...Quirkless, Hisashi. Please talk to him, he's absolutely distraught over it.". Hisashi walked to where his son was standing and knelt down, grabbing his son's shoulder with one hand and wipes the tears out of Izuku's eyes with his other hand while turning Izuku to face Hisashi, before Izuku looked at his father with and sad face.
"Hey there, son" Hisashi started; "Mind telling me what's got you so down?" as Izuku took a deep breath before responding. "T-the doctor told me I w-wa-was Quirkless, and I said I should give up being a hero." Izuku dashed to his dad, hugging him tightly before asking; "Do you think I can be a hero, Dad?" looking at his father's face, waiting for a response, with a twinkle of hope in his eyes.
"Of course, son. It will be a long and incredibly tough journey, but I know you'll make it and I'll be there with you all the way with all my support. Honest truth." Hisashi said, as he smiled widely, looking into his son's eyes as they lit up with that hope into motivation. Izuku turned his head to the right and hugged his father even tighter, before crying tears of joy and closed his eyes, smiling. "Thanks so much dad, I'll do my very best to be the best hero I can be, just like you always say; PLUS ULTRA!" Izuku shouted in happiness while Inko looked at them with worry and skepticism.
