America is now an absolute monarchy, though there are still governors for the states and mayors for cities.
There are eight castes:
One — Royalty
Two — Nobility, Clergy
Three— Celebrities
Four — Businessmen, teachers
Five — artists, performers
Six — Servants
Seven — Manual laborers
Eight — "untouchables"(homeless, punished, illegitimate)
Summary:
Isabella Swan has always faithfully served Princess Alice. When the German Princess is forced to participate in a competition to marry the Prince of America, Prince Edward Masen, she brings Bella along.
