Danny was running. He had to run he had to get away. Tucker and Sam couldn't help him. Why would they? They betrayed him. They told his parents about him being half ghost after the Dark Dan incident. They thought he would turn evil. So they told them everything. Now his parents and The Guys In White were after him. His parents called them for backup. He's been running ever since. He has to get there it the only safe place. The Ghost Zone. To Clockwork he could help.
He's still too weak from the fight with Dan to go ghost. He's almost there he can see his house. Suddenly "Aaauuuggghhh!" Danny screamed as he was hit with an ecto blaster and fell to the ground. He couldn't move. He could barely think "This is it." He saw a blurry version of his mother before he passed out.
Before anything else could happen the phrase "Time Out!" was heard. Everything froze. Time standing still. A green portal in the shape of a clock face opened up and a ghost came through. He had blue skin and bright red eyes with a scar over his right one. He wore a purple cloak. He had a clock in his chest as well as on top of the staff he held. This was Clockwork master of time. He floated over to Danny and began to brush his hair back affectionately.
"I am sorry Daniel. You deserve better than this. I will make sure you get it." He picked Danny up and made another portal. He flew through it after proclaiming "Time In!" Leaving everyone to wonder where had Danny gone. What they didn't know was that they would never see Danny Fenton/Phantom again.
Some time later
Danny woke up feeling groggy and sore. Sitting up he groaned "Oww what happened. Oh crud Mom and Dad. Sam and Tuck. The Guys In White. I gotta...wait where am I?" He said looking around. A familiar voice spoke "You are in my clock tower Daniel. Don't worry you are safe." Danny saw it was Clockwork who spoke while floating in the doorway.
He sighed with relief then said. "But what happened? The last thing I remember was getting hit by an ecto gun by my mom." A sudden realization hit and Danny looked up at Clockwork with tears in his eyes. "I can never go back there can I?" Tears falling in full now Danny pulled up his knees to his chest as he continued to cry in earnest.
Seeing how distraught the boy he had grown so fond of in such a short time was Clockwork floated over to Danny. He sat down on the bed Danny was on and, brought the boy into his arms. He could hear the boy mutter "Why?", "How could they?", and "I don't understand." on repeat for a while.
Once Danny had calmed down some Clockwork began to explain. "I'm sorry Daniel. You never deserved what happened. I wish I could fix it but that would disrupt the timeline too much. As for what happened well it was their fear that caused it. I changed your parents' and teacher's memories so they wouldn't remember Dark Dan. But I foolishly left your friends and sister alone thinking they would still be on your side. Your Sister remained but your friends did not. They turned on you because they feared your becoming Dark Dan. Despite everything you went through and your promise to them. The fear that came with the fact that it happened in the first place was too much to overcome."
"As for your parents well after hearing what happened and what may happen. It just confirmed to them that all ghosts were evil. It blinded them to the fact you were their son. However rest assured you will never turn into Dark Dan. There will also be happiness and true friendship in your life. Do you want to know why?" Danny nodded into his chest. " Because I am going to send you to a place where you will be accepted for who you are in both forms. Your secret need not be a secret to anyone anymore. You will have true friends there. Ones you can trust and will trust you. You may even consider some family. One day they will need your special talents as a hero and otherwise. Would you like to go Daniel?"
Danny sniffled a couple times then asked. "W..Where am I going exactly? Will I still get to see you and my other ghost friends?" Clockwork smiled and said "I will drop in from time to time. As for your other ghost friends I can't promise anything but, I may be able to arrange visits from them. As to where you are going come and follow me and I will show you. But be careful Daniel. I don't want you to aggravate the wound on your back. We will need to change the bandages soon as well." With that they both carefully got up and left the room.
The walked/floated into the room where Clockwork kept his time screens. He then began to explain. "As you know Daniel I am the master of time. But what you don't know is it is not only earth's and the ghost zone's timlines I look after. I look after the timeline of every planet where there is life and afterlife. Some are even in different dimensions. The world I am going to send you to is in another dimension. It is similar to earth but different at the same time. It is called Equis. The land you will live in is called Equestria. Now observe."
Clockwork waved his hand in front of one of his screens. An image of a town appeared. It seemed full of color, fun, and happiness. But what really got Danny's attention was the people of the town. For they were all talking ponies. They came in all different colors. He noticed that some had wings and were flying around. "Pegasi" his mind provided. Others he noticed had horns and were doing what could only be described as magic. "Unicorns" he thought. The rest didn't have horns or wings at all.
"Clockwork this looks amazing but, how will I fit in there being human or in my case half human and all?" Danny asked worried about being seen as a freak again. Clockwork turned to him with a reassuring smile then said. "Do not worry Daniel. When I visit this relm my form changes to that of the most powerful type of pony there is in that world. An alicorn which is like a unicorn pegasus hybrid. So since my form changes I believe yours will as well. As to what form you'll change into in either ghost or your new pony form well. I leave that as a surprise.
Once you get to Equestria more specifically the town you see before you called Ponyville. I advise you to locate the unicorn known as Twilight Sparkle. I will send a note with you explaining everything. Now what say we change those bandages hmm?"
Once Danny's bandages were taken care of they were in front of the time screens again. "Are you ready to go Daniel?" Clockwork asked. Danny nodded and said "Yes I'm ready but, will you please look out for my sister and, tell her what happened so she doesn't worry?" "Yes Daniel I will. Now for the portal." He said then he raised his staff. This caused another clock faced portal to open. This one rainbow colored.
"Goodbye Clockwork. I'll miss you and, thankyou for everything." Danny said then hugged him. Clockwork hugged him back then replied "Your welcome Daniel. I wish you luck and, I'll see you soon." With Clockwork's note in hand Danny took a deep breath and stepped through the portal.
