Mightyenas in the wild, A document on the behavior of Migthyenas in the wild.
Height: 3'03"
Weight: 81.6 lbs.
Type: Dark
Part 1: Habitats
Mightyenas live in multiple habitats, adapting to the types of prey in the climates, like forests, grasslands, and even, in rare cases, deserts.
Part 2: Behavior
Mightyenas live, hunt, and act in packs of up to 3-5, and around 3 Poochyenas. These packs are very coordinated and will protect each other fiercely. This leads to these Pokémon often being close to the top of the food chain in their ecosystem. However, they are sometimes outclassed by other predators.
Part 3: Life Cycle
Mightyenas will start out as Poochyenas, and like all Pokémon, hatch from eggs. These eggs weigh around 200 grams. The eggs will be laid in a cluster of 1-3 and will hatch after around 3 months. The Poochyenas and eggs are one of the most well protected things within the den. People getting too close the Young are often the main source of Mightyena maulings. Young Poochyenas will often play rough with other young Poochyenas to train for hunts. Poochyenas will often also get the most amount of meat from the hunts. At age 10, Poochyeanas will try a "practice hunt" assisted by the Mightyenas of the tribe. If this hunt is successful, the Poochyena will be able to join the Mightyenas during the hunt. At age 26, the Poochyenas will become Mightyena, gaining stronger jaws, stamina, etc.
Part 4: Diet
Mightyena and Poochyenas are strictly Carnivores. Their diet will vary depending on region, but Poochyenas food will usually be smaller than the Mightyenas. Mighteyenas deits consist of small-medium sized Pokémon. Ratatas, Pidgeys. Patrats, etc. Newborn Poochyenas will have their food chewed up before consumptions, likely to avoid the Poochyenas from choking.
Trivia:
Mightyena are taken in as pets in some parts of the world
The fur on the back of Mightyenas can be sheared, and is used in fur coats
The coordination in Mightyena packs is one of the strongest in the Pokemon world.
