(All Dogs Go To Heaven Theme Song starts)

People say it's quite a way to Heaven.

Many miles beyond the distant stars.

Now I know that all dogs go to Heaven,

But until we chase our dreams that far,

We will find a little Heaven

Everywhere around us.

Find a little Heaven

You & I, my friend.

One day, a girl was playing with her baseball in the park. "Britney has made two outs and two strikes." she said to herself. "Here comes the pitch!" she then threw her ball up high, but a dog caught the ball. "And strike three! You're out!" he said.

This is Charlie B. Barkin. He is much different than most other dogs. For one thing, he can speak to humans, unlike most dogs, who can only bark.

"Whoa! Talking dog!" Britney said. She was a bit nervous at first. "Whoa, whoa. Don't be scared. I'm very friendly." Charlie said. He's not usually allowed to speak to humans unless it was part of his job(yes, a dog with a job), but he recognized Britney from a mission he had a while ago, so he thought it would be okay.

"How are you talking?" Britney asked. "That's a secret." Charlie said. "Let's just say I have special vocal chords that let me speak the human language." Britney giggled & said "You're very funny.". "I see you really like baseball." he said. "Yeah. You know baseball?" Britney said. "Yeah." Charlie answered. "Me and my friend, Itchy learned about it for... something." Charlie almost revealed what his job was. "What something?" asked Britney. Charlie tried to lie, which he's really bad at. "Uh... TV acting?" he said. "Wait! You're Lightning Bolt?" Britney said. "Yeah. Let's go with that." Charlie said. The lie worked as he does look a lot like Lightning Bolt.

"I've been watching you play baseball here a lot." "Well I'm getting ready for a baseball game my school is having in my backyard." Britney said. This confused Charlie. "You're backyard?" he asked. "Yeah. My backyard is so big that me and my dad made it into a baseball field." she answered. "Wow." Charlie said in his head. "But unfortunately, our players, Bob, Mike, Tony, Nick, & Alissa have either moved away, got injured, or are in juvie." Britney answered. "Juvie?" Charlie said confused. "Yeah. We're not allowed to say what Bob & Mike did, but we can say they also got injured doing it." Britney said. "And the first game is tomorrow."

Charlie felt bad for her. "You know, maybe me & my friends can fill in until you find replacements." he said. His other friends didn't know that much about baseball, but he wanted them to help because he really liked Britney. "Thank you, Charlie." Britney cried as she patted him. As she did so, Charlie saw a strange, but familiar looking hat in her bag. Kinda like one you see at a restaurant. "What's in your bag?" he asked. This made Britney nervous. "Uh-Oh. I gotta go. See you tomorrow." she said as she left. This was very suspicious, not as suspicious as other things Charlie has witnessed before, but he was still concerned.
