Sam: And finally, a hearty heart of mozzarella.
Carly: There's no such thing as too much cheese.
(Carly and Sam both spread the cheese off-camera)
Sam: And there.
Carly: That's how you make,
Both: GIBBY PARMESAN!
(Sam hits the 'APPLAUSE' button on the remote while Gibby tastes some of the cheese)
Gibby: Now that's Italian.
(Carly pushes the trolley with Gibby on it which crashes off-screen and he says 'ouch')

Carly: And the latest new novel in the Nikki Heat Franchise, Deadly Heat!
Sam: Or as we call it in Spanish for you, loserinos.

Freddie: 'Calor Mortal'
(Freddie turns the camera back to the girls)
Carly: So tonight, we have with us on iCarly,
Sam: The best-selling author from New York City behind the Nikki Heat Franchise who is here in Seattle for his official book tour!
Carly: Give it up for the man behind Nikki Heat!
Both: Richard Castle!
(Sam hits the 'APPLAUSE' button on the remote and Richard Castle appears with his 'Deadly Heat' novel and sat down between the two girls.)
Carly: Thanks so much for coming down to our web show, Mr. Castle.
Richard: Oh, it's always an honor to be here on the famous iCarly web show. My daughter, Alexis really loves your web show when she was little.
Carly: Aww.. that is so cute of her.
Sam: So tell us about the Nikki Heat character you created in your latest novels.
Richard: Well, you see. The Character 'Nikki Heat' is a detective in the NYPD. Her decision to become a detective was motivated by the death of someone close to her, she is assisted by sometimes-lover journalist Jameson Rook, which is based on me, and colleagues, Detectives Raley and Ochoa. Originally a theater major at Northeastern University, Nikki switched her major to criminal justice after her mother's murder. In fact, she has a niece and siblings.
Carly: I heard that the character is actually based on someone you know, is that right?
Richard: Well now that you mentioned it, yes. She is based on a detective that I worked closely with, Katherine Houghton Beckett, or as I like to call her 'Kate' or 'Beckett' for short. I am also a consultant with the precinct she worked in that is the 12th Precinct. When she was 19, her mother, Johanna, was stabbed to death while on her way to meet with her husband, Jim and Kate for dinner. The detective in charge of the investigation, Detective John Raglan, was apparently never able to find the killer and attributed her death to random gang violence. Kate, though, believes that there was more to her mother's murder than a random killing, thinking that the investigating detectives ignored every other evidence that could lead them to her mother's murderer. He was later killed while trying to tell Kate very important information. Beckett's father took Johanna's death hard and became an alcoholic. She was eventually able to help her father get through it. She has since worn her mother's wedding ring as a necklace for "the life she lost" and her father's watch for "the life she saved". Johanna's death inspired Kate to become a cop: to be a detective that actually looks for justice for the sake of the victims' families instead of 'pigeon-holing' crimes the way Detective Raglan did on her mother's case. She also wanted a position in the force where she could investigate her mother's death further.
Sam: Is that so?
Richard: Yes, it was very sad of her when her mother was murdered which is why she became a cop in the first place.
Carly: So, how did you became friends with Detective Beckett and became a consultant with the NYPD's 12th Precinct?
Richard: Well, it was some years ago. Beckett lead the investigation into the murder of Allison Tisdale, which is staged in the style of a death scene described in my last novel Flowers For Your Grave, along with other murders based on my fiction. She is forced to have me consult on the case, and though she tries to contain my access, I somehow repeatedly violates police protocol. Although the killer is apparently caught when he leaves his fingerprints on a note he allegedly sent to me, I convinced Beckett to continue the investigation based on a hunch, we discovered that the killer was actually Allison's brother, setting up a mentally ill client of his sister—a social worker—so that he could claim the majority of their father's estate due to his father suffering from terminal cancer. After that case, I used my friendship with the Mayor to get partnered with Beckett under the pretense of conducting research for this series of novels starring a detective based on Beckett. My character, Nikki Heat, who is based on her, is really smart, very savvy, haunting good looks, really good at her job. And kind of slutty.
Sam: Very Savvy, Smart and really good at her job? That is my kind of girl.
Richard: Yeah. In fact, I hope Beckett is watching this from New York.
Sam: I don't suppose you are also dating her right?
(Castle looks at Freddie's camera with a concerned look on his face.)
Richard: Well, actually yeah. I am sort of dating her.
Carly: Sam! Anyways, tell us about the other characters in your Nikki Heat Book: Detectives Riley and Ochoa.
Richard: Well, they are based on the detectives I also worked with, Detectives Kevin Ryan and Javier Esposito who I also believed they are also watching this too.
Sam: Just tell us about these two guys.
Richard: Detective Miguel Ochoa is based on Esposito while Detective Sean Raley is based on Ryan, and he is coined "King of All Surveillance Media" by Detective Heat.
Carly: And I heard that you created a movie based on the first Nikki Heat novel?
Richard: That's right. It is my first novel 'Heat Wave' that is now a movie with Detective Nikki Heat portrayed by Natalie Rhodes, but due to various issues (including Rhodes going to rehab), it was unfortunately released straight to DVD.
Sam: That's a bummer.
(Castle chuckles embarrassingly)
Richard: Indeed it is.
Carly: Well that's all the time we have, thank you so much for coming down here tonight Mr. Castle.
Richard: Thank you girls for inviting me. Don't forget, my book 'Deadly Heat' is now available on shelves in all bookstores across America and Seattle.
Carly: Until next time, I'm Carly.
Sam: And I'm Sam.
Both (Including Castle): And this is, iCarly!
Announcer: RANDOM DANCING!
(Carly, Sam along with Richard Castle do their random dancing to the music)
