Chapter 1: Celebrating Renji Abarai's Birthday
Renji had just woken up from a small nightmare he just had. He was sweating as the sun was shining in his room.
He looked over as he saw that his girlfriend, Rukia wasn't in bed with him any more.
Renji flopped back down onto the bed as he smelled her scent on the pillow.
"Mmmmm.~ My baby girl smells so good, I wonder what conditioner she uses to wash her hair." Renji said to himself.
He began to feel a little hot as he laid on his back, about to pleasure himself.
He then stopped as he heard a knock at the door.
Renji jumped up as he pretended to be asleep.
"Renji? It's me, Alice. Hey umm can I come in? This is really important for me to tell you this." Alice said as she waited for Renji to answer the door.
Renji opened one eye as he woke up and opened the door.
"What's up, red?" Renji said as he was shirtless, only wearing boxers.
Alice blushed very deeply as she looked away.
"Gah! At least put a bathrobe on!" Alice said as she covered her nose.
Renji raised an eyebrow as he looked down and blushed deep red also, he had grabbed a bathrobe from his bed.
"Sorry about that, It gets really hot in my room so I tend to sleep half naked all the time." Renji said as he winked.
Alice turned to Renji as she finally calmed down and entered his room.
"Whoa damn, it is hot." Alice said as she fanned herself.
"Told ya. Anyways, so what's the news? Is my girl alright?" Renji asked.
"Yes yes she's alright. She wanted me to tell you that she, her captain and his squad are out on a mission, they might be gone for a few days. And I get to hang out with you!" Alice said happily.
Renji blinked as he chuckled, "I bet they're out getting me something for my birthday." Renji said.
"Maybe.~ But we hope she'll be back on time to celebrate it with you." Alice said.
"That's good then, thanks for the news. I get hella scared it'll be bad news." Renji said.
"Well that we're going to avoid if we can. So what would you like to do today?" Alice asked.
"Well first, I'm going to shower, then get dressed and get something to eat, second we can head to the mall if you're fully recovered." Renji said.
"Yes I am, plus you defeated the hollow, I want to thank you for that. You, Izaya, Ichigo, and Rukia for rescuing me." Alice said as she wiped the small tear away from her eye.
Renji frowned as he got up and hugged Alice close to him.
"That's our job, we save and protect those in need." Renji said.
"Even if they're evil? I'm sorry to say it but wasn't Aizen evil once?" Alice asked.
"Yes, but he's changed. Even if he was in trouble, we'd go and save his ass." Renji said as he chuckled.
Alice chuckled also, "Well thank you. You go ahead and shower and I'll meet you by the kitchen." Alice said.
"Thanks Red. See you in a bit." Renji said as he smiled at her and grabbed a pair of change of clothes and headed to the shower.
Alice smiled as she left his room and met up with Izaya.
"Did you ask if he wanted a party?" Izaya asked.
"Oh damn it! I forgot to ask!" Alice said.
"No worries, I mean I figured he does anyways. We got plenty of party supplies to put up." Izaya said.
Alice happily nodded as the two headed to the kitchen.
Renji finally came out of the shower after an hour later, he was fully dressed, had his hair in a braided ponytail and he sprayed some cologne on him.
He looked at the picture of Rukia. Renji picked it up and kissed it.
Not knowing the door was still open, Renji began making out with the picture frame.
Both Alice and Izaya stood there as they tried not to burst out laughing.
Izaya knocked on the wall, as it jumped Renji and he turned around with an embarrassed look on his face.
"The hell…..? H-How long have you two been standing there?" Renji asked.
Both Alice and Izaya bursted out laughing.
"Renji! Are you that obsessed with her?" Izaya asked.
"Wha-? Ah no no, I just miss her face, that's all. You two deadass better not tell anyone about this! Or I'll I- awta awta-" Renji choked on his words.
"We won't we- Oh my gosh, Renji, you are a goofball!" Alice said.
Renji blushed, "Yeah. but I can also fight well too." Renji said, trying not to laugh.
"Dude come on, breakfast is almost done, lunch is about to begin." Izaya said as he wiped a tear off his eye.
Renji chuckled as he sat the picture down and walked with his friends to the kitchen.
"Izaya, I know you do the same too~." Renji asked.
"To Keigo~? Hmmm, maybe.~" Izaya said as he blushed.
The three all headed to the kitchen to get something to eat.
"So, Renji, do you want a party?" Alice asked.
"Yes. It can last till midnight. And we're having red velvet cupcakes and chocolate." Renji said.
"Sounds yummy. And what would you want for your birthday?" Izaya asked.
Renji's face turned red again as he looked away.
"Oh my gosh! You want Rukia that bad~?" Alice said.
"No- I mean yes but- how do I explain it? Okay actually I gotta ask my pal Shuhei for this. It's lewd." Renji said.
"Renji, literally I can handle lewd stuff.~ Me and Keigo talk about it all the time.~" Izaya said.
Alice blushed a bit, looking away.
"How about this, we'll go to the mall together, we'll shop." Renji said.
"Alrighty, but we're hiding your gifts from ya.~" Izaya said.
"Count on it. Anyways, y'all ready?" Renji asked.
"Yes!" They both said.
The three then washed their dishes as they ran into their rooms to get ready.
Renji actually ran to Shuhei's room as he knocked on his door.
Shuhei answered as he raised an eyebrow.
"What's up, Tattoos? Missing your girl so much?" Shuhei asked.
"H-How'd you know that she's gone?" Renji asked.
"While I was asleep, I heard Captain Ukitake saying 'Goodbye' to everyone along with Rukia's voice." Shuhei explained.
"Ah, I see. Anyways, so you know my birthday is coming up right?" Renji asked.
"Yeah? Are you having a party or some shit? Because I want to do a prank on you.~" Shuhei said as he grinned.
"You silly, nah. I want one of those lewd neon posters you've got." Renji said.
Shuhei unfolded his arms as he turned around and saw the lewd neon posters of the succubus and fairy girls hanging from his wall.
"Ah.~ Didn't you check online?" Shuhei asked.
"Wasn't able to, but since me and my pals are heading to the mall today I might buy one." Renji said.
"Well they're still in stock but only a few left so good luck and hopefully it won't make your girl jealous. Anyways, go have fun.~" Shuhei said as he playfully punched his arm.
"Haha, yeah sure. Thanks." Renji said.
Shuhei grinned as he closed his door.
Renji ran back to his room to get ready as Izaya and Alice we're already at the gates.
"Hey y'all, sorry I'm late. Anyways, ready?" Renji asked.
"Yep!" They both said.
Renji opened the gates as the three all headed to the world of the living.
"Whoa, it's so bright out today." Renji said.
"Yep and nothing seems to be going on. So we're all good then." Izaya said.
"Is this mall that y'all like so much?" Alice asked.
"Hell yeah! You'll love it." Renji said.
Alice smiled happily as they all headed inside.
"I'm going to the jewelry store, maybe I'll find some badass blings." Izaya said.
"Have fun. Hey Alice can we-" Renji looked around and saw that Alice had gone inside the crystal store.
Renji followed her inside.
"Oooh, I would love to have this clear rose quartz!" Alice said.
Renji saw what she was talking about as he leaned close to it also.
"Is it real?" Renji asked.
"Yes. I'm buying it. Do you want one?" Alice asked.
"Huh? Oh, umm yeah! I mean, what would you recommend? Rukia's been eyeballing at the Amethyst." Renji said.
"You know, you can also give her one too. I'm sure she'll love it." Alice said.
Renji looked at Alice as he nodded as he whistled at the store clerk.
"I would like to have the Amethyst please." Renji said.
"Buy one get two free." Sung-Sun said.
"For Amethyst or-?" Renji asked.
"For any! I'm having a sale so I can put up newer crystals in stock, there's over two hundred plus." Sung-Sun explained.
"Oh! Then I'll take them!" Renji said.
"Renji! Come look at this one." Alice said.
Renji walked over to her as she was looking at the Black Tourmaline crystal.
"This one helps protect you from negative energy." Alice said.
"And we'll buy five of these!" Renji said.
"My goodness, you're getting into this. I never had a customer this excited before." Sung-Sun said as she put on her gloves and opened the window to grab the Black Tourmaline crystals.
"You can also wear them too, see look." Alice said as she pulled out the black tourmaline necklace from her dress.
Renji stared at it as he nodded, "And what else do we do with it?"
"Cleanse it, meditate with it, charge it, put it around your room to ward off negative energy, and wear it." Alice said with a smile.
Renji nodded, "Thanks. I'll keep that in mind then."
Alice smiled as they went to the cashier to pay for their crystals.
"Hold out your hands please, I recommend that so you can feel their energy." Sung-Sun said.
Renji did so. Sung-Sun put the black tourmaline on his hand as it shined.
Renji closed his eyes as he felt relaxed and relieved.
"Whoa, that was strong." Renji said.
Alice and Sung-Sun giggled.
"Now try the Amethyst, she helps with anxiety." Sung-Sun said.
Renji nodded as he felt relieved again. His anxiety was slowly going away.
"Whoa, now that helped." Renji said.
"See? I told you you'll like them. I've been collecting them for a while now." Alice said.
"No way, well I'm glad." Renji said as he smiled and paid for them.
Sung-Sun happily waved at them. "Come back again! See you soon."
Both Renji and Alice waved at her as they walked out.
Renji saw that Izaya was still in the jewelry store looking around.
"Ayo, follow me. Shuhei recommended this store I want to go to." Renji said.
"Sure thing! Whatever you want." Alice said as she followed Renji inside.
"Hi, welcome. Everything is on sale so please buy whatever you see!" Ggio said.
"Yo, thanks a bunch." Renji said.
Alice looked around, everything was dark and neon colors.
She saw some skateboards, wristbands, chains, and chokers.
"This is tricked out." Alice said.
Renji picked out a few things.
"Yo Alice, I can use a hand here." Renji said.
Alice went up to him as she held onto his stuff.
"Should we get Izaya? I don't want to lose our crystals." Alice said.
"I'm sure he'll catch up and find us here." Renji said.
Alice nodded looking back to see if he'll catch up.
Renji found the posters but only the fairy, and mermaid were in stock.
"Ayo, where's the succubus poster?" Renji asked Ggio.
"Sorry, we're all sold out. That one was really popular." Ggio explained.
Renji nodded as he picked out the mermaid poster. "Oh well, this will have to do."
"Alright all done, let's go check out." Renji said.
Alice followed him again as she set his stuff on the counter.
Ggio began ringing them up.
"You hungry?" Renji asked.
"I am actually, but may I go look for Izaya?" Alice asked.
"Go for it, and bring him back here." Renji said.
Alice smiled as she nodded and walked out.
She found Izaya coming out of the jewelry store.
"Hey. Sorry it took so long, the line was long, a sale was happening." Izaya said.
"I see, we'll he's in there checking out." Alice said.
"Awesome, I want to check out the store real fast." Izaya said as he headed inside.
Alice smiled as she snuck inside a store that had bamboo, pandas and snakes accessories.
"Welcome, please look around and don't break anything." Coyote Stark said.
"Oh, Thank you. Don't worry I wont." Alice said as she looked around.
She saw a snake-like necklace with a small black sword on it. It had a small black gem inside. Alice picked it out as she saw a monkey craving that was holding two babies in its arms. Alice also picked it out and headed to Stark.
"I would like to buy these, please." Alice said.
"Ah, perfect. These have been in stock for over a year. Good choice." Stark said as he rang them up.
Alice smiled as she turned around and saw Renji and Izaya waiting for her.
"Here you go." Stark said.
Alice jumped up as she paid with her card and grabbed the bag.
"Thanks so much!" Alice said as she walked out.
"Sorry about that. Every store is interesting." Alice said.
"Yeah that's true. Wish I could stay here all day." Renji said.
Both Alice and Izaya giggled as they headed to the courtroom to get something to eat.
After they were all done eating, they all headed back to the soul society to relax.
"Well, see you guys later on for dinner or training unless a hollow decides to screw things up." Renji said.
Izaya chuckled, "you know it!"
"Renji, do you want to meditate your crystals with me?" Alice asked.
Renji smiled as he ruffled her hair, "Sure. Then maybe we can watch a movie or two." Renji said.
Alice smiled as she walked with him to his room.
