Summary – What if James Savoy had two sisters instead of just one, and what if the sister was with Optimus Prime romantically and he didn't know it? What if the younger sister was also staying with the sister who was with Optimus, but the older sister didn't die from the Chicago war. But the spark-broken Autobot leader becomes the younger sister's guardian and protects her, what if James Savoy saw a different side to Optimus than what Attinger had previously told him or what he had believed Cybertronians to be? What would he do?
The Guardian
Optimus' POV
I was finally happy. I had a mate who I loved with all my spark she was my everything. She was the sweetest and most compassionate females on this planet, and her name was Mika Savoy. She had her younger sister Ariana living with her as well, she was a bit of a handful as Mika would put it.
I often wondered how I deserved such a beautiful and compassionate female; she came into my life like a hurricane and took my spark with her. I loved her deeply.
I had asked her to as humans called it marry me, but to us my race we called it bonding. Humans go all out with rings and such, but whatever would make Mika happy I was willing to do that and more as I said I loved her with all my spark.
But... fate can be so cruel sometimes and rip what we love away from us with such carelessness.
Mika had an ex-lover; he was violent and drank high grade or more to human terms alcohol. He was jealous of everyone she came in contact with, and she was terrified of him. I had asked Major Lennox to try and help with trying to get the Law Enforcement involved, it did not work like it should have.

Normal POV
A shadow skulked up and managed to work the locks to get into Mika's gigantic apartment she shared with her little sister. Mika had gotten into elevator going up and luckily for her little sister she was not there.
However, Mika would not be as lucky as she got into the apartment her ex was standing by the sofa as she stopped in mid-stride.
"What are you doing here?" she demanded.
"I saw you found someone new did you sleep with him yet?" he asked as Mika could smell the booze on his breath from as far from him as she was.
Her stomach jolted from the stink of the booze.
"Get out of my home, now!" she shouted.
"If you want me out then kick me out or better yet get your new boyfriend to do it for you," he challenged.
Mika narrowed her eyes then.
"I don't need my new boyfriend fighting my battles soon to be husband... See!" she shouted showing him the ring. "Now get out or I'll throw your ass out head first!" she exclaimed as he pulled out a gun from the waistband of his jeans.
He smirked then.
"Still think you are little Miss can kick ass with someone who has a gun pointed at you?" he questioned as Mika froze then.
Mika knew he was crazy nuts but this was ridiculous, she prayed Optimus did come over because his holoform couldn't get hurt and he could tackle and kick his ass like there was no tomorrow.
However, Optimus was suddenly aware of Mika's fear and panic through their bond, and he was heading straight for her apartment.
"Still think, you can kick my ass?" he asked with a smirk.
"Look, put the gun down," she urged.
He continued to smirk then.
"No, I don't think so, I think I would rather splatter you brains on the wall for all the grief you gave me, how about that?" he questioned as he unexpectedly pulled the trigger hitting her in the chest twice as he bolted out the door.
Mika had slid to the floor gasping as pain grasped her, she closed her eyes for what seemed like minutes but were only seconds and her eyes opened to find Optimus' holoform holding her in his arms.
"O...Optimus..." Mika whispered.
"I called for help just try not to talk," he begged.
Silence...
"Please... Primus," Optimus whispered as she coughed up blood.
Mika's ice-cold hand reached for Optimus' as he held her afraid of the truth he already knew deep down in his spark.
His Mika was dying. His Mika would be leaving him within seconds.
"O...Optimus promise me you will...take care of Ariana please..." she whispered.
"Yes, I swear on my honor I will take care of her for you," Optimus vowed.
"I...I love...y...you never forget... that...e...e... ever," Mika whispered as she turned her head her eyes closed as she took her last breath as the mighty Optimus Prime for the first time in his life just broke his spark breaking as he suddenly reared back and roared in pain and spark break.

James Savoy eyed the apartment that once belonged to his beloved sister, he had seen the picture of his sister with a guy by a flamed Peterbilt and the Autobot symbol knowing exactly who he was, and his anger knew no bounds at that point.
"What the hell is she doing with Optimus Prime?" he demanded.
"We found this from one of the drones, sir," an unidentified guy with dark glasses said as he handed Savoy some stills.
"He has Ariana with him?" Savoy said with a snarl. "Let's go, I want answers don't kill him just injure him enough so I can get answers from him. You just locate him and leave the rest to me and don't tell that damn bounty hunter either," Savoy remarked.
"Alright," one of the men said.
"Rip through every one of his men that will get his attention," Savoy remarked.
"Alright," he said as they left while Savoy punched the wall leaving a hole in the wall as he left the apartment.

Several months later...
Optimus had Ariana with him she had packed what she could as they tried to stay one step ahead of the humans hunting them. He had lost all his men but Bumblebee and the new ones who had landed Hound, Crosshairs, Drift and he had learned that the Dinobots had been freed from Lockdown's capture as well by the remaining Autobots.
He had to get to where his remaining Autobots were, however, he had gotten surprised by Cemetery Wind and they had injured him. Ariana being the handful she was she fought and bit the men trying to take her away from her guardian.
Optimus was on the ground injured, when Savoy pulled up his eyes landed on Ariana trying to see if she was injured.
"Are you alright?" he asked going to her as she reared back and punched him in the face.
"You bastard, you did this to Optimus he's my guardian Mika asked him to protect me and he's been doing that keeping me safe!" Ariana shouted as Savoy looked at her like she had grown two heads instead of one.
"You brain-washed my kid sister now too?" Savoy demanded as Optimus wearily glanced over at Savoy.
"No, I was in love with Mika we were to be married, but her ex-boyfriend attacked and he murdered her. She perished in my arms, and had asked me to take care of Ariana which I did because it was her dying wish." Optimus explained.
Savoy narrowed his eyes then that was not Attinger told him. Attinger said his sister died because of the Chicago war. He said the Cybertronians were the cause of her death, but now he is learning something else altogether?
"Is this true, Ariana?" Savoy asked his kid sister.
"Yes, you know how that guy was just ask William Lennox he arrested the guy after Optimus caught him. He was coming after me and Optimus got him, before he could hurt me like he did Mika." Ariana explained as Savoy glanced at Optimus.
He had been wrong all this time about Optimus Prime and his Autobots?
He sighed then.
"I am truly sorry for everything I have done to your Autobots all this time I was told you and your Autobots were evil," He replied.
Optimus nodded, but winced from the pain.
"If Attinger knows you know the truth, James, he'll come after you." Ariana replied as some of the guys from Cemetery Wind started mumbling about what was going on.
Savoy realized a lot of the men were loyal to Attinger, and they wouldn't hesitate to kill him, his kid sister and Prime. So, he took a chance an threw a gas grenade as Optimus transformed and he and Ariana got into Optimus and the Prime took off.
"Where the hell are, we going to go now?" James asked.
"We will get my last of my troops and stick together," Optimus said as he scanned a new vehicle form from Peterbilt to Western Star with his flames.
Once they found his remaining troops and the Dinobots, they fled for parts unknown however what they didn't know was Primus had opened up a portal sending them into another realm someplace safe for them all.
So, if you see a flamed Western Star with an Autobot symbol along with other vehicles with Autobot symbols. Keep their secret because you never know when you yourself might need help like they did or do...
