When we look back at things, we can have the most fun growing up, whether it would be with our families or friends, we can often look back at these memories but sometimes, the best memories could be made on the road ahead or even right now.
A yawn came from a room with a nice sized bed. A tortoiseshell and white she-cat woke up as she wanted to see what was going on. Her name was Poppyfrost by the way. She began to stagger down the stairs as she looked at Honeyfern who was staying over. Honeyfern was a lithe dappled she-cat whose fur represented almost honey in color or texture. Poppyfrost walked over as she decided to grab some coffee. Honeyfern yawned as she had been sleeping on the couch as she had been staying over.
"Morning sister, anything interesting as of lately?" Honeyfern asked as she wanted to figure out what her sister needed.
"Nothing much but I would like to figure out what we are going to do as I'm bored with this summer. Cherryfall is collecting Social security and Molewhisker is trying his best to find work where he could write. I don't get why Cherryfall isn't finding work either ever since she graduated along with Molewhisker about a month ago." Poppyfrost responded as she began pouring the coffee into the mug as she wanted to figure out what she wanted to do. Honeyfern wasn't too concerned.
"I mean she just got out of school, can't you just you know, let her enjoy her life. Why are you so nosy about trying to make her move on?" Honeyfern asked as Poppyfrost handed Honeyfern a mug of coffee. Poppyfrost looked at her sister as she began speaking.
"Well I want her to be successful. Molewhisker seems to have the energy to keep going all night while Cherryfall thinks that there is nothing to worry about unlike Molewhisker who treats every day like it's his last."
"I mean Molewhisker just seems to be looking forward to life ahead, he's like Berrynose but Berrynose is across the country and he left just yesterday and won't be back for another month or so." Honeyfern mewed as she looked at her sister. Suddenly Blossomfall entered, the reddish and gray she-cat with white specks on her fur entered as she had some exciting news.
"You cats aren't going to believe what I just managed to snag us." Blossomfall began. Poppyfrost and Honeyfern turned their heads as they wanted to figure out what she needed.
"What did you snag us this time?" Poppyfrost asked as she wanted to find out what Blossomfall had got for them.
"A two week vacation down south, we will be able to use our time, the beach, the amusement park, a trip into the mountains! I am just excited for this!" Blossomfall responded as she clenched her teeth on her lips and exhaled with excitement.
"A vacation, that's great." Poppyfrost responded as that had got her attention. Honeyfern began to smile as she was excited.
"I wonder who we are going to bring and when we will be leaving." Honeyfern responded as wanted to see who was willing to join them in their crossroad adventure. Blossomfall turned to Poppyfrost as she had the idea.
"Your kits, don't they want to join the vacation?" Blossomfall asked if Poppyfrost's children were up for the trip.
"Yeah I might have to ask them, let me check on them." Poppyfrost responded as she began to make her way back up the stairs. Honeyfern looked at Blossomfall as she continued to speak.
"Bringing any of your friends along with us?" Honeyfern asked as she wanted to figure out if they were going to have some form of company.
"Ivypool has agreed to come with us and Dovewing too after I did a little convincing, they are planning to meet us this afternoon while we go ahead and get ourselves together for the trip. For now we must start packing!" Blossomfall responded with her vigor. Honeyfern nodded as she looked at Blossomfall.
"I already knew about this and came prepared." Honeyfern responded. Blossomfall nodded as she looked at Honeyfern.
Poppyfrost was making her way through the second floor hallway as she wanted to see if her kits wanted to come along on this vacation. She peeked into Cherryfall's room and found out she was asleep. Her room was organized as had her shelves neatly organized. Not wanting to disturb her, Poppyfrost went to check on her son, Molewhisker. Poppyfrost opened his door as she found out he was already awake, his room was mostly organized aside from a few books that lay on his work desk. Poppyfrost looked at her son as she wanted to see what he was up to as he was already up and about typing away at the keyboard of his laptop.
"I didn't know you were already awake, I guess you want to get your deadline done before we head out huh?" Poppyfrost asked. The large brown and cream tom looked at his mother as he knew exactly what she meant.
"Yes I wanted to get this done for a couple days now. I'm just working on it and would hopefully have this done for tonight so if we do go out, I know what my next project should be and what inspiration I can base it off of." Molewhisker told Poppyfrost as he had taken a pause in his typing to speak to her. Poppyfrost looked at her son as she nodded.
"Okay then, I guess that I'll leave you with that and how did you know about this?" Poppyfrost asked as she went over to see what he was going to pack and take with him.
"Ivypool said about it, Honeyfern too. It gave me motivation to my flagging morale to finish something that about four hundred thousand words long." Molewhisker told Poppyfrost as he kept typing.
"Oh Starclan, that long, I could have sensed why you were busy. So you got up bright and early to finish." Poppyfrost responded as Molewhisker continued to type away.
"At any rate I should be finished this afternoon and could begin brainstorming new ideas." Molewhisker replied. Poppyfrost walked over as she placed her paws on her kit's head.
"Would those ideas revolve around the vacation we're about to take?" Poppyfrost asked Molewhisker if that would be the idea he planned on doing.
"Yeah that's what I plan on doing, hopefully I can find something fun or cool I can write about." Molewhisker replied as he kept typing.
"Okay but let me know if you do as that would give you a great idea. We're going to be gone for two weeks so it'll be plenty of time to think." Poppyfrost responded as Molewhisker nodded. "Okay brainiac, I'll see you later." Poppyfrost wished him farewell as Molewhisker continued his typing trying to make the deadline in time.
The day wore on as Cherryfall had awoken and she was busy getting the suitcases together.
"I'm pretty sure we're taking the truck?" Cherryfall asked as she wanted to see what they were going to be traveling in.
"Yeah that's correct we're taking the truck." Poppyfrost responded as Molewhisker was busy typing away.
"Yeah and we should be done. Plenty of time to spare too." Molewhisker responded as he had been working hard all day and into the afternoon. Poppyfrost looked at her son as she nodded with approval.
"All right." Poppyfrost smiled as she knew her son was done. "So what is it that you plan on doing next?" Poppyfrost asked. Molewhisker looked at her as if he didn't know.
"I don't know exactly but I'm keeping the laptop on me in case an idea springs into my head." Molewhisker responded as he decided now was a good time to relax after a hard day's worth of work. Cherryfall was looking out the window when a car pulled up. It went to look for parking as it pulled into the side of the street. Within moments, two cats came out as they were carrying bags as they were ready to go. Cherryfall was busy playing on her phone as she heard the doorbell ring.
"I'll get it." Blossomfall responded as she got up and made her way to the door. She opened it to find Dovewing and Ivypool at the entrance. "You heard about the vacation huh?" Blossomfall asked as she wanted to figure out why they were here.
"Yeah traffic on the way here was bad. We got stuck behind a semi and Dovewing wanted to pack everything onto the trip since we're going away for so long but she can't take everything." Ivypool responded as she looked at Blossomfall as she decided to let them inside.
"Hopefully we can get everything together so get ready." Blossomfall told them as they were going to spend the night here. She headed up stairs as Dovewing decided to keep her luggage downstairs. She hurried up the stairs following Blossomfall and Ivypool. Once getting to the top everyone was happy to greet them.
"Hey!" Poppyfrost greeted Ivypool and Dovewing. Ivypool decided to relax as Dovewing went to use the bathroom. After a few she came out as Blossomfall decided to make an announcement.
"Well we're all here, I will tell you that we're getting up at five tomorrow morning and I want everyone in bed within a few minutes. I want everyone to get a good night's sleep so everyone will be going to sleep." Blossomfall told the group that they needed to head off to sleep right now. Poppyfrost looked at Molewhisker and Cherryfall as she wanted to speak to her kits.
"You heard Blossomfall off to bed you two." Poppyfrost responded as she decided to shut down Molewhisker's laptop. Cherryfall decided to protest.
"But mom." Cherryfall responded. Molewhisker yawned as he was ready to head off to bed.
"No buts, you're stuff will be here tomorrow when we go away." Poppyfrost responded. Cherryfall nodded as she went off to go to bed. Everyone was going to get ready. Poppyfrost was packing Molewhisker's stuff away as she looked at Honeyfern.
"Well looks like we're going to have a wonderful time ahead." Honeyfern mewed as she looked at her sister.
"Yeah but the question is, who's going to drive?" Poppyfrost asked as she wanted to figure out who was willing to get behind the wheel.
"I will." Blossomfall responded. She then walked off as she too was going to get ready to sleep. Dovewing walked up to Poppyfrost as she looked at her.
"Well Blossomfall is excited to drive." Dovewing began. Poppyfrost began to speak.
"I'm not letting Molewhisker drive as he's afraid of the sudden red light. You're bound to wreck the car and Honeyfern goes slow on the highway so Blossomfall's driving so we're not going to die." Poppyfrost responded as she got up and decided to head off to bed. Honeyfern fell asleep on the couch as Dovewing and Ivypool decided to take up good spots to sleep. Everything was arranged, up and early tomorrow morning, Poppyfrost knew this adventure was going to be the time of their lives. She laid in her bed after cleaning herself up a bit as she decided to pull the covers over her and fell asleep. Tomorrow was going to be the day.
Four O'clock tomorrow morning and the cats began to stir. Blossom began to stretch as she knew the journey was about to begin. She walked into Poppy room as she decided to nudge her awake.
"Psst. Get up, it's time." Blossomfall told Poppyfrost as she nudged her awake. Poppyfrost opened her eyes as she looked at Blossomfall.
"Time to get up?" Poppyfrost asked as she got out of her bed. She turned on the lamp to be able to see something. She decided to stretch herself out as she decided to go wake up Cherryfall and Molewhisker.
Molewhisker was beginning to stir with the light being turned on. He then opened his eyes as Poppyfrost entered his room. Molewhisker had hastily packed what he wanted to bring with him as Poppyfrost walked over to him.
"Wake up, today's the big day." Poppyfrost told Molewhisker as he got up and grabbed his luggage.
"Don't need to remind me but I know what is happening. I'll be heading on down. Go wake Cherryfall up." Mole would rub his eyes as he got up and grabbed his remaining bag. Poppyfrost exited Molewhisker's room so she could wake Cherryfall up.
Cherryfall was fast asleep in her bed as Poppyfrost entered her room. She had packed her bags in anticipation for this event, Poppyfrost walked up to her as she began to nudge her in order for her to wake up.
"Ready?" Poppyfrost asked. Cherryfall woke up as she felt groggy.
"I didn't get much sleep as of last night, why am I getting up at four in the morning?" Cherryfall asked. Poppyfrost went over as she grabbed one of her suitcases. Cherryfall finally got up as she grabbed the other bag.
"You'll get to sleep in the truck so no need to complain about lack of rest, this trip is going to take a long while." Poppyfrost told Cherryfall to get going. Poppyfrost and Cherryfall decided to exit the room.
Poppyfrost and Cherryfall went down the stairs as Blossomfall was gone. Dovewing, Ivypool, Honeyfern and Molewhisker were busy getting their stuff organized as Dovewing was texting. Poppy looked at Dove as she was curious about where one of their members went.
"Hey Dovewing, where did Blossomfall go?" Poppy asked as she wanted to figure out where the main organizer of the trip went.
"Blossomfall told us that she went to get the truck." Dovewing replied. Honeyfern was looking out of the window as she spotted the truck pull up in front of their door. The truck was a mix of a truck and a minivan as it could seat up to seven with room left over for extra space. The door opened as Blossomfall was at the bottom of the stairwell.
"Everyone start passing your suitcases down as we are going to get out and on the road ahead if we are going to avoid the traffic." Blossomfall began as she wanted to get everyone moving. Honeyfern went over as she began scooting the bags down to where they were going to pack the bags onto their truck. Blossomfall began to carry them out one by one as she was going to load them onto the back. Molewhisker and Cherryfall were carrying their bags down as they were going to begin their trip.
"Excited aren't we?" Honeyfern asked as Ivypool and Molewhisker moved the cooler containing the drinks and perishable items onto the back. Blossomfall knew she was going to get the entire thing rolling as fast as possible.
"I know Blossomfall is driving so I'm going to sit next to her." Poppyfrost replied as she wanted to be able to to keep an eye out for her pilot. She then hopped into the truck as she claimed a seat all for herself. Molewhisker and Cherryfall decided to sit in the back of the truck where there was the most amount of room to be had. Now the last two seats are being decided by Dovewing and Ivypool.
"I want to call the seat in the second row." Ivypool began as Dovewing was getting her electronics on as she wanted a good seat to sit from.
"No way, a fluffy lass such as myself should be able to sit in that seat where I have plenty of room. Go sit in the middle of the back with your scrawny little self." Dovewing growled as that seat was all hers. Ivypool growled as she didn't want to compete with her sister.
"Fine." Ivypool growled as she climbed into the truck and went into the back. Molewhisker and Cherryfall were getting themselves situated as Dovewing climbed into her seat. Blossomfall checked to make sure everything was packed away and secured as she started the truck up. With a gentle push on the gas pedal with her paw they were on their way.
The truck was going to embark on a twelve hundred mile long trip as they were going to head from the bustling suburbs to the south where the beaches would be. However Blossomfall was going to take a bit of a detour as she wanted to grab something before their trip would truly begin. Blossomfall had pulled up to a small 24 hour a day Bistro that was situated somewhere on the busy road but being four thirty in the morning, no one was outside as the streets were cleared. Blossomfall and the gang got out of the truck as they went into the Bistro.
The Bistro was deserted as one tom cat was working the entire place. They decided to get breakfast.
"So what does anyone want for breakfast?" Blossomfall asked as she opened the door to the Bistro. The cats began to enter as they began to wander around the deserted place.
"Bagels, with cream cheese." Honeyfern began as she wanted that for her breakfast. Molewhisker was already looking at the drinks.
"Scallions with mine." Molewhisker responded as he grabbed a juice to wash down his breakfast.
"Okay." Blossomfall responded as she went up to the bagel section to get the bagels. Molewhisker planted the bottle of juice down in front of the counter to have it paid as Ivypool walked up to him.
"Squished between you and your sister, I feel like I'm not going to be able to get comfortable compared to Dovewing who's got a seat all to herself." Ivypool complained as she wasn't comfortable.
"I mean I got plenty of room where I am sitting and I bet the isle between the seat I'm sitting in and where Dovewing is sitting, the only thing that will drive me crazy is boredom as I don't know how long that I will be able to stay in this car without going insane." Molewhisker responded as he wanted to make sure he was able to keep himself entertained.
"So what is that small bag you brought with you other than your laptop?" Ivypool asked as she wanted to figure out what was inside that bag.
"My fuzzies?" Molewhisker asked as he wanted to see if Ivypool was going to notice this.
"Yeah those, I heard you have an imagination, so maybe we could play." Ivypool responded as she was a little awkward with what she said. Molewhisker turned his head behind him to spot Poppyfrost and Honeyfern place what they wanted.
"I… I'll think about this." Molewhisker responded as he was a bit embarrassed. He was blushing and Cherryfall decided to take notice of this.
"Oh my brother's blushing in front of a she-cat, I think he might have love." Cherryfall squealed as she spotted her brother blush. Ivypool turned to Cherryfall as she had two words for her.
"Shut up." Ivypool snapped at Cherryfall. Cherryfall stuck her tongue out at Ivypool as she looked at her brother who was still embarrassed. Poppyfrost looked at her kits as she noticed Cherryfall teasing her brother.
"Cherryfall, no teasing your brother like that, plus we need to ring up everything." Poppyfrost snapped at Cherryfall for teasing Molewhisker. Poppyfrost walked up as she began to ring up their breakfast as she wanted to see how much this would cost. Blossomfall walked over as she got out the money and began to pay everything up. "Molewhisker." Poppyfrost mewed as she handed the bag to her son. Molewhisker decided to carry the bag back to the truck.
The truck revved as the journey was beginning to resume once more as they were going to resume their journey. Getting on the nearly deserted highway, they were allowed to drive along the highway at speeds they normally wouldn't as there was no one on the highway but she didn't want to speed if there was a police officer on the highway to catch speeding targets. Molewhisker, Ivypool and Cherryfall fell asleep on each other as they were tired from waking up at four in the morning Blossomfall continued to drive as Poppyfrost looked at the rear as she noticed her kits were had an early start so might as well have them change their batteries.
New Jersey was the first state to cross as the sun was cresting over the horizon. Delaware and then Maryland was conquered without much worry except for a small rest to the restroom. Other than that they were crossing into the state of Virginia as the one's in the rear were still asleep. Blossomfall was listening to the radio.
"Good morning everyone on this lovely eighty degree day, the humid air has passed us with some thunderstorms from last night though I would like to blame Oakheart for incorrectly reading the weather." Crookedstar began as he was telling the news.
"Sorry." Oakheart responded as Crookedstar nodded.
"Okay now with that out of the way, more evidence regarding the Starclan vandals have been uncovered as we would…" Crookedstar was speaking over the radio as Blossomfall decided to silence it. Poppyfrost looked out ahead as she was wondering if they were there yet.
"So how far is this journey?" Poppyfrost began. Blossomfall looked at her for a moment before looking back ahead onto the highway.
"Pretty far." Blossomfall answered Poppyfrost's question as she looked ahead to the gas tank. "We're running low on fuel though." Blossomfall poked at the stats of the truck as the arrow pointing to the gas was pointing a little above the E meaning it was going to be empty. She spotted an exit as she pulled up on the exit as she wanted to see if they were going to get gasoline.
"Okay, get yourselves together, we're just passing through." Blossomfall told her as they pulled into the gas station. Poppyfrost looked at her.
"Yeah I wanted to see if we can get the fuel and get back onto the highway and get to empty your bladders." Poppyfrost responded. Once Blossomfall parked the truck, she looked back into those inside of the truck as she pointed to them.
"Okay everyone out." Blossomfall commanded everyone. The others got out as everyone was going to quickly use the bathroom. Honeyfern approached Molewhisker who seemed to be a little groggy.
"Are you having a good rest?" Honeyfern asked as she wanted to see how Molewhisker was not having a good rest.
"Not really, the truck isn't any way comfortable." Molewhisker responded as he felt groggy as he wasn't having a good night's sleep.
The cats made their way into the bathroom as they were going to use it as they needed to use it so they didn't need to use it for the journey ahead. Perhaps a while.
"I'm going to get some Starbucks, the coffee we just had wasn't that good. Pick what you need for later on as lunch will be around the corner." Dovewing told Poppyfrost that she was getting some coffee with Blossomfall and Ivypool. Poppyfrost responded as Honeyfern exited the bathroom.
"Honeyfern, watch Molewhisker and Cherryfall, I'm helping Blossomfall refuel the truck." Poppyfrost told Honeyfern as she was going to help refuel the truck.
"Got you." Honeyfern responded as Molewhisker exited the bathroom. "Poppyfrost told us that we should be picking out some snacks so we could begin the journey ahead." Honeyfern told him as Cherryfall exited the bathroom.
"Good, let's go see what we want." Molewhisker responded as he went to get something from the local shop.
Blossomfall along with Dovewing and Ivypool had exited the shop as they were carrying their coffees to consume. Blossomfall decided to get the truck up to the gas pump. She grabbed the nozzle as she opened the gas cap and began fueling the truck.
"So how much longer until we get to Florida, it'll be noon when we get to North Carolina." Poppyfrost asked as she looked at the clock, it was ten in the morning, they had been driving for a total of six hours now.
"It'll take a bit more of a day so be patient, I promise." Blossomfall told Poppyfrost that the drive was still underway. Blossomfall topped off the tank as Honeyfern, Molewhisker and Cherryfall exited the shop. Cherryfall was carrying a paper bag with goodies inside. Honeyfern seemed to be upset.
"Twenty dollars on candy and soda Cherryfall, you might get sick. At least Molewhisker got chips to have with his lunch and that was it. I hope you don't eat it all." Honeyfern told Cherryfall that she was going to be mostly snacking along the way. Molewhisker entered the truck as he sat next to Ivypool.
"Enjoying your trip so far?" Molewhisker asked as he wanted her opinion.
"Not quite, I still feel bored about the trip so far now that I think of it, at least you're keeping me company." Ivypool responded as she relaxed between Poppyfrost's kits.
"This is the first day so we will have an excellent vacation together, it will be a lot of fun." Molewhisker responded as he was ready to get this vacation on. Blossomfall was the last to enter the truck as she looked at her crew to her rear.
"You all buckled in and ready to continue?" Blossomfall asked as she looked behind to her crew.
"Yeah we should be ready to continue." Honeyfern told Blossomfall that they were ready to continue driving. She pulled out of the gas station as they continued to drive along the highway to continue the journey. Poppyfrost opened the portable cooler as she grabbed the sandwiches as they stored from earlier this morning as they were getting close to the North Carolina border.
"Lunch anyone?" Poppyfrost asked as she began passing out the sandwiches to everyone.
"Yeah I want some." Molewhisker responded as he grabbed his sandwich. Ivypool got hers as she began digging in.
"Well I wanted to begin by saying that I was wondering if we would try finding out what you would want to do?" Ivypool asked as she looked at Molewhisker's bag of chips. "Can I have some?"
"Sure I'm not going to eat the entire thing." Molewhisker responded as Ivypool opened the bag up and began to snack on it.
"Thanks." Ivypool responded as Molewhisker grabbed a chip and ate it.
"Do you want to go back to sleep as you seem tired?" Ivypool asked as Cherryfall was listening to music on her phone and eating her lunch.
"Yeah I'm still pretty sleepy." Molewhisker responded as Ivypool looked at him as they finished their lunches together.
"Maybe I can use you as a pillow, I already bought a blanket with me." Ivypool responded as she pulled the blanket over her and Molewhisker. Molewhisker relaxed on his head rest as he and Ivypool began to fall asleep into a deep nap. Cherryfall looked at the two of them as they were sleeping.
"Sleepy aren't they?" Cherryfall asked herself as she continued to eat her sweets that she bought with her.
North Carolina was easy though the traffic was picking up with everyone being more awake and driving around. Honeyfern was sighing and joining the conversation between Blossomfall and Poppyfrost as they were trying to decide on what they were going to do. She looked up as she noticed the clouds were starting to turn gray as it was clear it was going to rain. Poppyfrost heard her phone ringing as she decided to answer it.
"Hello?" Poppyfrost began as she was curious who was on the other side. "Gray Wing, Thunderstar, you two are on the other side." Poppyfrost was happy to see them as she continued to speak.
"Hey Poppyfrost you on your way to visit us in Florida?" Thunderstar asked as he had his shotgun with him and he was polishing it. Thunderstar and Gray Wing were very old and were living in the gated community but they wanted to see what was up.
"Yeah we are, we're in South Carolina right now but it looks like the weather is getting ugly." Poppyfrost responded.
"Yeah it appears that you are speaking to your elders." Gray Wing wheezed into his microphone. Poppyfrost laughed as she was enjoying it.
"Yeah how's Gray Wing holding up?" Poppyfrost asked as Thunderstar was taking the shotgun apart.
"He's doing good even though his Asthma is still a problem." Thunderstar responded as she wanted to see what was going to happen.
"Yeah but I am looking forward to seeing you tomorrow." Poppyfrost responded. Suddenly giant splashes of water began slamming into the windshield of the truck. It was almost as if the road below them was going to flood and wash them away as the rain was pouring in sheets. "The rain is louder and it will be hard to hear them."
"Yeah the rain has been crazy as it has been happening for weeks. This could be the worst summer we've had." Gray Wing wheezed as he didn't know what they were driving through a storm.
"Yeah, I just hope Blossomfall is driving slower as you don't want to collide into each other." Thunderstar told Poppyfrost as she hoped that Blossomfall wasn't going to crash. Molewhisker and Ivypool shot awake as they heard the thundering storm that was raining on them. Thunderstar decided to hang up as Blossomfall needed to concentrate.
"Yeah we need to pull over and find a room as we need to pull over for the night and find a way out of this storm." Honeyfern told Blossomfall that they needed to find a spot where they were going to be able to find a place to rest for the night.
"Yeah I might as well top off the gas tank again." Blossomfall mewed as she looked at the clock they needed to sleep as they had to sleep and get up the very next morning. Ivypool looked up as she noticed the storm was slowly dissipating. Molewhisker was tracking how much longer this journey would be and maybe he could go to bed earlier and rest up for getting up early that day.
"We need to find a place to sleep, there is no way we can complete this trip in one day." Poppyfrost yawned as she had been awake for over twelve hours now.
"Yeah I agree. We're almost to Georgia as it's almost five at night." Blossomfall responded as she yawned. She spotted an exit to her right as she decided to take the exit.
The truck came off the exit as they went left. She spotted a hotel nearby as the truck came into the parking lock. Blossomfall knew she had an eventful day's drive.
"Yeah we're getting out." Dovewing told the others as she got out. The hotel was average but they knew they needed to divide this evenly.
"There is no way that a room could sleep seven cats at once so we need two rooms." Honeyfern mewed as she didn't know how they were going to split the sleep. She knew she needed to decide who wanted to sleep with who. "Who's going to rest with who?" Ivypool was the first to answer that question.
"Molewhisker and Blossomfall." Ivypool mewed as Poppyfrost was left with her sister, her daughter and Dovewing.
"Molewhisker is the odd one out as he's the only tom on this trip. So Ivypool is taking the boy." Dovewing commented as Blossomfall was cleaning out the truck. The cats carried their stuff in as Poppyfrost went to the truck.
"Hey excuse me?" She asked as she wanted to see what the tom wanted.
"Hello, so what do you need?" He asked as he wanted to see what they needed.
"Two rooms for the seven of us please." Poppyfrost responded as the black tom worked the front desk.
"Okay I got two rooms vacant, Third floor." He responded as he handed them the keys. Ivypool knew she was going to have Molewhisker alone with her for tonight. Poppyfrost nodded as they took the keys and headed up to the third floor.
Ivypool inserted the key card into the door, the door flickered green as she, Blossomfall and Molewhisker entered their hotel room, this room was basic, two bedrooms, a bathroom, desk, dresser, television, anything the hotel room was going to have.
"I've had a fascinating first day but now we need to wind down for night so we can continue on in the morning. So good night." Ivypool responded as she hopped into the covers. Molewhisker did the same as he turned away from Ivypool as they needed their space but they would like to know each other better.
Day one was finished.
