There is a lot to say about the endless expanse of space if you asked Skyfire. Despite what many claim about seeing nothing but emptiness till the sight of other planets drew near on a ship,

Such claims were scientifically wrong.

There is no such as nothingness in space, space is full of life despite it's cold quiet blanket over planets suns and moons, it's filled with life from micro's to large mechanisms like himself traveling across it's dark but bright void,

The remains of moons, stars and worlds once existing and falling apart. Left afloat in space waiting to be dragged across till they are pulled into something new and far away becoming bits of its matter as it transforms into a new formed life in space,

It was truly beautiful. The makings of different planets and life were such a sight to behold no matter how many worlds he's study and visited,

No matter how far you've been in space,

Something new always awaited discovery. It's existence as limitless like any other being,

Through he must admit it has grown lonely once more to travel space now. Filled with to much spark ache to go far out into a exploration, the memories of his old life were still ever so fresh in his processor when he choose to fly among the stars for a change,

Always looking ahead for someone who isn't apart of his life no longer,

Skyfire has also grown ever fond of the planet earth far more then Cybertron. Rarely leaving it's solar system much these days,

Yet for some reason he found himself more daring…more brave to travel farther out today. He did not plan to be exploring long of course, The base on earth still needed his help and the humans had so kindly invited him to see a new space craft prototype they built for his input as a traveler through space,

A flicker of red had caught his optics. The large shuttle halted his travel suddenly and quickly with a heavy spark tightly pulsing in its chamber,

He's been gone. Offline for nearly over a vorn now,

Skyfire's optics were playing cruel tricks on him, with his emotions still tender from the hurt and longing of his ever dear star, The fact of never getting to say goodbye still eating at his very core,

Skyfire still found himself drifting closer towards the asteroid field transforming out of his alt-mod right outside of it's belt. "It was just my optics…" He reasoned quietly to himself lowering his helm finding nothing but asteroids,

Have I gone so far that a mere color has been ruined by him?,

The shuttle was ready to back away. And continue on the path home, Looking back out into the field one more time the most chilling sight greeted his optics,

Sky acted before he could think or stop himself. Flying into the field stopping right in front of the mech's body,

His servos shook as he reached out for the limp body. Pulling the mech closer into his arms, questions filled his processor as he held onto the cold lifeless form of Starscream,

Skyfire did not know how this could be happening. His star had died, nearly nothing remained of his form from when Galvatron offlined him,

"My star" He sobbed staring into Starscream's deemed optics. No longer shining with a red glow and filled with all the passion he held himself tall with, Instead his scratched up faceplate looked so tired and aged,

How could he miss another chance to say goodbye?, Despite how hurt he was with Starscream…despite the times he has shot and manned him in battle,

He couldn't hate him. "You've been alone out here haven't you?…My star" The larger mech whispered pulling the other into a broken embrace,

Skyfire gasped jolting back and shifting his hold on the seeker's body a servo pressing gently into his chest plating,

It was faint ever so faint. Barely noticeable at first but he could feel the pulse of Starscream's spark still burning in its chamber,

"Starscream…Oh Star what's happened to you?"

He needed to get medical treatment. He needed it before his spark truly faded once and for all,

"I won't leave you again Star. I won't give up on you again" Sky promised dragging both himself and Starscream out of the asteroid field and back into the vast void of space once more,

Hoping to Primus he did not find Star too late,

Note: I wanted a somber skystar long fic and well i've most already might as well create one of my own, the idea for this is based off the 80s cartoon universe and how starscream got a body again and then drifted away never to be seen again (i assume they might for it to mean he died again but wildcard baby!), So...I went wild do not mind me much haha,

the chapters are going to get longer the start is suppose small for emotions :3
