This is my first fanfic on so go easy on me I'm not too sure how to work this yet aha, I have a Wattpad with the same account name, GreekLoser15. I appreciate feedback as it gives me more motivation to write. Anyways, I hope you enjoy the story !
Chapter 1.
The cameras flashed as Gabriel Agreste walked out of the mayors hall, Natalie and a police man with dark brown hair following behind him, dressed in the Paris defense uniform.
Adrien followed behind, Marinettes hand clasped with his as she pressed against him as they walked behind adriens father, guards flanking them.
The paparazzi crowded around the entrance, shouting for Gabriel and Adrien.
They all got into the limo, one after the other until one of the officers closed the door.
"You both did well"Gabriel said bluntly to both of them once they were in the limo, accompanied by only him and Natalie.
Tiki flew out of Marinettes bag, landing on the girls shoulder, not making eye contact with the older man instead choosing to bury her head into Marinettes neck.
The two teens hands were clasped together on the seat, marinettes nails digging into Adrien's hand, not that he minded, the pain kept him distracted from their situation.
"Where's her earrings"Adrien said darkly
"Is it not enough to be able to keep your kwami ?"he asked
Marionette breathed in shakily
Adrien glared at his father.
"You already know I can't give you back the ladybug and cat miraculous, I need them and I can't have you running off in the meantime"
"How long, how long will you be, until you unbalance time"Adrien said as a tear rolled down his face.
Marinette looked at him with pityfull eyes as she sobbed softly.
"It's what I need to do Adrien, I have told you this"
"Mom wouldn't want this, she wouldn't want you torturing innocent people !"he yelled
"Adrien"Gabriel warned darkly
"Your going to kill Natalie !"he yelled again
"Enough !"gabriel yelled back and Natalie flinched at the sudden eruption from the man beside her
"Please…. Don't do this"Marniette choked out looking at him with tear filled blue eyes
"Miss Dupain Chang, there is no need to panic, you will be returned home safely when I can assure you will be no trouble to me"
The car stopped as they arrived at the agreste mansion.
"Now, both of you straight to Adrien's room"he commanded
"Now"he said
Adrien got out of the car first and Marinette followed after him.
When Adrien closed the door he fell to the floor his legs giving away.
"Adrien !"Marinette cried out worriedly, dropping to the floor beside him
"I can't… how can he do this"Adrien cried
"I don't know…"she answered genuinely
"I miss Plagg"he sniffed
"Whenever dad ever got angry before I would transform and just watch Paris go by, being transformed calms you you know ?"he said to her with a small smile
She sighed softly with a smile back to him
"I know… it's much easier being behind the mask than being who we really are"
"Well.."Adrien started
"I think that behind the mask we get to be ourselves so then we are being who we really are, we have more confidence so we're able to"
She laid her head on his shoulder as they both leant back against the door.
"I'm glad it's you…"Marinette said softly
"Me too m'lady.. me too"
