"Hey Gumball!" Masami floated over to the big-headed blue cat. "Do you want to play spin the bottle with us after school?" Gumball looked up to Masami and decided to say a simple response. "No."
"What? Everyone's going to be there, even Penny." Gumball looked offended. "First of all, I have a girlfriend... which is going to be playing with you guys and SECOND, spin the bottle is for wack job losers who are so desperate for action in their life they have to use a bottle to get it."
Masami looked down confused at Gumball. "That sounds mostly like you." Masami raised an eyebrow and gumball sighed. "Fine, I'll go to- wait where even are you doing this?"
"Oh, we're doing it at the gym. I could afford to get you all to come to my house but I don't think being seen with all of you guys would be a good look for my parents." Gumball closed his locker and sighed. "Well, I'll be sure to go!" Masami smiled and thanked Gumball. "Alright! See you then, if you're not a chicken."
Gumball looked over behind him and saw Darwin. "Woah, how long have you been standing there?" "Eh, I just got over here. You're going to the gym after school, right?" Gumball looked suspiciously at the other Watterson, leaning in closer to his face.
"How did you know I would be going?" Darwin looked up at Gumball confused. "First of all, I didn't know until now. Secondly, I was invited too!" Darwin said with a toothy grin. "Oh. You're going because Carrie's probably gonna be there, you just wouldn't want to miss out on kissing her." Gumball mocked Darwin's lovey-doveyness towards Carrie.
"What? No. I could kiss her anytime, which reminds me!" Darwin walked all the way to Carrie's locker and gave her a quick kiss on the lips leaving Carrie flustered and confused. "Really. You left our conversation to kiss your girlfriend?" Darwin nodded in response with a lovey dovey face "Yes." He said with a certain light tone to his voices.
"Eugh, this is too sweet I'm about to get diabetes." Gumball faked throwing up and Darwin looked at him with a disappointed face. "Well, see you in class then." Gumball nodded and grabbed his history textbook from the ground. Wait, CLASS!
The bell rung and Gumball swiftly ran to class, Miss Simian waiting outside for everyone to come on. Gumball, with the luck he has was the last one in. Miss Simian did a grinch like grin and was about to tell him that he was going to have detention until she realized he was perfectly on time.
She grumbled to herself and walked into class, she grabbed her Coffee cup and took a sip. "So today class we're going to be learning about-" Everyone except a certain few prized students tuned her out. Those of whom being Bobert & Alan. It was disgusting at how good their grades were and how they could focus somehow with Miss Simian teaching.
Gumball groaned and decided to wait for a time skip in the story so he could go to the gym after school. He wasn't about to waste his time in some boring classes moaning around.
Huh, I guess the time skip did work. Well anyways, it was finally time for Spin the Bottle. He was admittedly excited, but also worried. If he got anyone other than Penny then she would become that medusa like creature he feared oh so much.
But on the other hand, he could practice his kissing for Penny. He loved her so much, they were kind of an odd couple but it didn't matter to them. With Gumball's charm he could 100% get the ladies, but he didn't want anyone else other than Penny.
He walked over to the gym, his feet tapping louder than usual. Oh, he was tap dancing from all the nervousness, he didn't even know how to tap dance. He opened the gym doors with one small push and saw everyone sitting down in a circle, empty alcohol bottle in the middle. There was one more open seat right next to Darwin, he sat down and asked when it was going to start.
Somehow, everyone in the school showed up. Tobias was especially excited; he even bought some breath freshener or whatever it is for kissing the ladies, despite that no one wanted to kiss him. Gumball just rolled his eyes and Tobias. He looked over to Penny and gave her a small wave, Penny waved back with a blush.
Masami coughed. "AHEM. Now, who wants to start?" Tobias raised his hand and Masami purposefully ignored him making him do a guilt trippy grin. The next person that raised their hand was Sarah. Sarah was chosen. She whispered under her breath 'please be Gumball' a multitude of times and finally spun it.
It landed on Banana Joe, Darwin and Gumball giggled to themselves and Sarah shrugged. She decided to go in for it and gave him a kiss, some ice cream going off of her face onto the Banana's peel. The banana was covered in red & yellow ice creamy goodness. Gumball & Darwin looked at each other and did a confused disgusted face.
The next person to spin was Ocho, Ocho was not the one known for love. Or being nice. Or being rational. Or anything besides being terrifyingly mean and having a really famous uncle, that one blue hedgehog. Ocho used his pixelated arms and spun the bottle. It landed on Tobias.
Tobias was particularly upset about this and exclaimed "OH COME ON! My first kiss isn't going to be a hot babe AND it's with Ocho?!" Ocho responded with a "Okay?" And jumped up on Tobias. They kissed for a split second until Tobias shoved him off of his body.
Tobias' face was like a ghost, the color drained out of him and the sadness finally kicked in that his first kiss was Ocho of all people. Gumball gave a giggle and the game continued on. More hilarity ensued and some unlikely pairings had to kiss.
Then it had finally landed on Darwin, Gumball was sitting in anticipation mostly waiting for his turn but also to laugh at his bro for whoever it lands on. He spun the bottle gently and it landed on... Carrie. "Man, that's lame." Carrie blushed and giggled, Darwin did too until people told them to get on with it.
They kissed for a long moment; the passion shown in both of their eyes. There were literal sparkles in the air when they did kiss. "OH COME ON!" Yelled everyone in unison, they had kissed before and it was always this sickening.
They had finally stopped kissing and Gumball rushed to ask Darwin. "Can you pass the bottle over here." Darwin looked confused like he had forgotten but then just responded. "Oh yeah sure,"
Gumball spun, hoping it would be Penny. The bottle spun and it landed on Penny! Wait, it didn't land on her, it landed right next to her. He had to kiss Teri. Penny's eyes widened and she gave a sad look towards gumball.
"Eugh! Why would I kiss him? You know how many germs could be spread from kissing? I don't need to risk it!" Teri yelled and erased her mouth with the pencil in her pocket and put it back in the pocket. Gumball jumped over to Teri and grabbed the pencil out of her pocket and drew a mouth. He hesitated and then kissed her, Penny getting a front row seat to this.
Teri tried to refuse but it didn't work. Gumball looked over at Penny but she didn't even try to look at him, he grabbed her shoulder but she pushed him away. Darwin and the others just continued on with the game, Gumball and Penny sitting the rest out.
"It's not even my fault, it's the game's fault man." Darwin nodded while they walked into the car, Richard driving. Richard heard this and gave Gumball a few fries. "Here." He said with a smile, Gumball smiled a bit and ate the fries "Thanks dad."
"I need to apologize to Penny tomorrow, I can't live like this dude. The guilt is already piling up" Gumball pulled his shirt up and showed his inside of his body and there was literal guilt piling up more and more guilt. "Huh, what do you know!" Darwin said.
Gumball walked to school, the shame making him more and more depressed. Darwin rolled his eyes since he knew that this would be solved immediately. They walked and went to their lockers; Gumball saw Penny she saw this and looked back at her locker. Gumball looked down at the floor.
"Oh, come on dude, just go up to her and apologize." Darwin gave Gumball a shove and he was next to Penny's locker. "Hey um, Penny." Penny raised her eyebrow at Gumball. "I'm really sorry about yesterday, I didn't know it would hurt you that bad, I'm sorry."
Penny smiled and gave Gumball a hug. "I forgive you." Penny then gave him a kiss and rubbed the fur on his head. "See you later, okay?" Gumball was stuck with a smile and not even Darwin could snap him out of it.
He was happy it went away so fast, he loved Penny so much that he would never trade anything in the world for her.
