Roughly 9000 Years Ago

On The barren sands and soo covered grounds a storm of ash and fire cloud the skies. Slowly sinking beneath a nearby mountain's flowing lava a great mechanical beast slowly drowns unable to move it's extensive damge. Close by on the heated earth now acting as coast to the lava a battle rages on. Five stalwart defenders fight on against a retched evil that has long laid waste to live through out the Multi-verse. That is until now. These defenders and heroes have united and combined their power for this fight. They call out to the Grid asking for it's power so they defeat this evil once and for all.

"Pterodactyl!"

"Mastodon"

"Triceratops!"

"Saber-Tooth Tiger!"

"Tyrannosaurus!"

Earth Present Day

The Town of Aggieville located near mid-northern California.

It was August and the local Community College was having it's first day orientation. Thousands of students walking the campus and dorms checking out the various booths and class rooms to get a feel of what their year had instore for them.

Walking amongst the crow was new student beginning her sophomore year at the school. Her name was Alice. Timid and calm spirit of girl who doesn't really prefer to much attention on her. This American based Korean had just moved from her family's home in Colorado in search of a more exciting life beyond her small house and family's restaurant. As she made her way through the crowd she spotted a girl standing in the middle of the sidewalk staring down at what seems to be a map.

"Excuse me?" She asked getting the girls attention.

"Yeah, hey?" The girl responded.

"Um, sorry could you by chance point me towards the library. I'm supposed to get some books for one of my classes?" Alice explained.

"Oh yeah, of course I'm actually on my way right now if you just want to come with?"

"Sure that would be great!" Alice accepted the kind offer as the other girl lead the way.

"What's your name?" The girl then inquired.

"Alice,"

"Well Alice it's a pleasure to me you, my name is McKenna," She responded moving her blonder hair out of her face as the wind blew against it.

"Nice to meet you." Alice smiled in return.

"Like wise are you from Aggie or did you move here?"

"I actually moved here from Colorado." Alice shared as the two made there way across one of the three fields of the campus. "What about you, are you from Aggie or are you new as well?"

"So I am in fact newish," McKenna replied. "I moved down last year as a Freshman so this is my second year here." She explained.

Finally making there way inside one of the main campus building they found themselves crossing by an auditorium where a number of student's gathered around. There was a lot of chatter and commotion as if a number of people were getting excited and even placing bets. "I wander what all this is about?"

"You want go find out?" McKenna asked point her over to the people.

"Might as well."

With the two of them entering the auditorium and making there way through the crowd they were finally able to see two people standing a mat on opposite sides from one another. It was as if the two of them were preparing for some sort of sparring match. "Man everyone is really excited for this aren't they?" Alice commented.

"Oh it's DJ," McKenna pointed out to Alice.

"Who?"

"That's DJ," Another voice spoke up next to them. "This guy is one of the town's start students. Especially with this town being one of the lading cities in Mixed Martial Arts he's what you might consider a Golden Star for the town. the guy across from him is Blake you could say his rival."

"Rival?"

"We say that loosely those two are practically best friends and when comes to fighting in the ring. They're dead even. Blake is this town's other Golden Egg being the top Honor student and majoring in science and electronics. His parents wish for him to go to better school but DJ is here. So Blake studies online for the technical school as well."

"Kind of cute too." McKenna commented brushing up against Alice's arm in a joking manner.

"Yeah I guess if you're into that kind of thing?" The boy responded attempting to shrug it off.

"What was you're name?" Alice then questioned.

"You can call me Eric, I'm part of the Student Council here." He shook her hand. "This here is too show off the school's MMA club. Now it's to watch closely." He pointer to DJ and Blake.

The Ref waved his hand down for the two to begin. The two while instance slowly began to creep towards to one another measuring each other's movements. "Each hit counts as a point. The first two three wins." Eric explained.

With the two growing closer there eyes quickly widen as the began to throw punches and jabs rapidly to the surprise of the others. As if they were watching a kung fu film of some sorts. "Wing chun, Karate, ju jitsu, mui tai." These two know it all. The two continued on with furious exchange each slightly dodging and moving their bodies as they used their open hand in the moment to parry and slide the other's attack before following it up with their own attack. When finally Blake's slightly larger size got the better of DJ pushing his right hooker farther then he wished causing his reaction just a slightly slower then required as he land a chest blow knocking DJ back.

"Point Blake." Eric spoke.

The two repositioned them selves on each side of the mat when the Ref signaled to begin once more. This time DJ was explosive opening up with a swift superman punch that Blake was just barely able to avoid. However this forced him on the defense as DJ quickly came back up with his other arm in a backwards reverse elbow strike that while Blake was able to block rocked him. DJ didn't let up though. He seized the moment to follow with a set of round house kicks forcing Blake to dodge and maneuver backwards in a quick and hectic pace. DJ spun with gracefulness the others had never seen as he went from a high jumping spin kick to a quick low ground sweep when he landed followed up with a final round house that landed right on Blakes unprotected chest knocking him down.

"Point DJ." McKenna then spoke The fighters recomposed themselves giving each other a fist bump as they went back to their sides. As DJ made his way to his side he caught a glimpse of the three watching him. Nodding his head to Eric before seeing Alice and giving her a wink. To which she blushed and McKenna nudge arm once more.

The final bout was ready. The two fighters looked winded and there sweat rolled down the side of their faces. As the Ref waved his arm the two jumped towards the other in a flying straight kick landing their blows into each other's chest knocking them to the ground. "Draw." Alice softly spoke with two gentlemen laughing at each other for the climatic exchange they just had with one another.

"What a show." Eric clapped as many others did the same having watch first hand a very exciting marital arts bout between the two. "Well I'll see you to ladies around I've got some prep work to get working on." Eric shook there hands walking away as many student's began to as well.

"Come on Alice we should be going as well." McKenna began to speak when suddenly both DJ and Blake walked up to them.

"I hope you two enjoyed the show?" DJ commented wiping a towel across his face.

"It was definitely an exciting one to be sure." McKenna responded.

"Hey McKenna, it's good to see you." DJ spoke.

"Likewise,"

"Who's your new friend?" Blake spoke up.

"My name is Alice," she rose her hand out to them. "I'm new to Aggieville."

"Well that's pretty neat perhaps Blake and I can show you two around The Strip later?" DJ offers.

"That would be nice," Alice smiled.

"Yes, we would both be honored." McKenna spoke up grabbing Alice and turning her away. "We'll text you guys later." She spoke leading Alice away.

"Wait I don't have their number." Alice pointed out.

"Oh don't worry about that, besides it's best to leave things little more mysterious now." McKenna laughed as the two left.

"Alice huh?" DJ laughed as Blake patted his arm getting his attention.

Off In The Distant Desert of California

A beam of light descends upon the ground from sky. Emerging from the beam a clocked figure steps forth. "You were right my master, I can sense it on this world. The Temple here somewhere. Kneeling to the ground the figure tossed out some form seed into the earth. Slowly emerging breaking from the ground a number of clay and rock top beings emerged. "Rise my Putties, Rise!" the rock like humanoids grunted and chanted in a strange like echo. "Go forth and find the ones marked by the Grid!" He commanded find me Temple of Power!" With that last command the Putties were off in many directions swarming. Over the mountain ridges just less then a 100 or so miles out rested the moderate town of Aggieville.
