I'm sorry if I copied most things but I need inspiration I DON'T own Vampire Dairies OR Mako Mermaids sorry :) In this book, Zac is 19 so Mimmi is 18 (I'm making her a year younger) Sirena told David about her at the END of Mako Mermaids. Mermaids can cast spells in this story. I think that's all PLEASE enjoy!
It is the year 2020 in Rita Santos's home. It is surprisingly quiet despite the usual chaos in the lower-level grotto. Weilan proceeded with her promise of going back to China to rebuild the Eastern Pod and with Ondina in tow. Rikki traveled the world and in the end, Emma, Cleo, Rikki, and Bella all met up once again and traveled back to the Mako Island Moon Pool one last time. Before all 4 moved back to their high school homes, where they soon gravitated back to their high school sweethearts. On one high school reunion, Ash, Lewis, Zane, and Will all meet up once again with their high school girlfriends, and from then on each married their respected girl or boy and had a kid or multiple children.
Eventually, the human gang that all used to hang out at the Cafe also got married, Cam and Carly, David and Sirena (David eventually found out about mermaids and is okay with it), and Zac and Evie (Zac eventually found a spell that Mimmi could do so that Evie could have her tail back and Zac and Evie could go back to swimming freely in the ocean once again). Now you might be wondering where Nerissa is, after spending many years with her children and getting to know them, she decided to travel the world again maybe even fall in love again and give Mimmi and Zac some siblings. But is still in contact with them and visits them from time to time. Rita and Veridia got real close after many many years of rivalry and Rita now lives fully in the ocean to spend time with HER Pod but comes on land once in every few months to pay the bills on her beachside home; which still residents the Human Gang, Mimmi, and Zac and to visit said, people.
Now after all this time you might be wondering where Mimmi is well, after Weilan, Ondina, AND Rikki leaving she was a little sad but recovered quickly she DID have Zac, Evie, The Human Squad, and her mother. And when Sirena returned from her trip with her sister she was ecstatic but when Sirena and David got together and Sirena stopped hanging out as much with her and more time at David's Mimmi got sad but occupied herself with her Brother and Mother. But when her mother, Rita, her brother, and the Human squad ALL either left or are with their spouses then she was definitely alone. She and Chris weren't really going good so she made him SWEAR never to talk about the existence of mermaids to anyone and they broke up, but stayed on good terms and talk some times. After that, she quit her job but said that she really enjoyed her years at The Marine Park and she would definitely work there again in later years.
She then cast an immortality spell on herself and all her friends. She meet some land people and they taught her everything about the 21st century, including this show, called The Vampire Dairaires and the sequels. She started it and she loved it. She watched it over and over and The Originals and eventually The Leciges. Mimmi learned of a thing called Amazon and she bought a waterproof iPad and goes every day in the Moon Pool to enjoy some 'TVD time' as she likes to call it.
Mimmi feeds Posiden then goes to the grotto picks up her tablet and jumps in head first into Rita's underwater entrance and speed swims into the Moon Pool.
Mimmi's head pops up in the Moom Pool she swims to the side and sets her tablet up. Then rest her head on the stone on the outside of the Moon Pool with her tail still in the water.
In this episode of TVD, it's 'Dangerous Liaisons' where The Mikealson's have their ball and Elena lies straight to Elijah's face which Mimmi does not like one bit.
In another universe, Esther had just finished talking with Elena Gilbert, the Petrova doppelganger, Elena now returning to the Mikaelson ball downstairs, and Esther now returning to her ritual to extract her vampire children off the face of the Earth along with the rest of the vampire race, not that the Petrova doppelganger knew that (because she's literally dumb and dumber), otherwise she would surely not help in the ritual as her dear Salvatore boys and that blond character were a part of Niklaus' bloodline.
However, Esther needed one more piece to finish the ritual, the blood of one other. Mermaid blood possesses very strong qualities and is used in very many rituals and sacrifices.
For a brief moment, Esther felt a flicker of remorse for what she was about to do, more so to Finn, the Loyal son, who had always been faithful to her, even as a child, never wavering from her side, and was now getting deprived of something so dear to vampires; her ambition, however, for redemption for her own guilt and sins was too great.
"I am sorry, Finn, my son," Esther murmurs faintly, then turning to her grimoire to consult it and reach the spirits on the Other Side.
"Sisters, hear my words, hear my prayers." Esther closes her eyes, sitting at her desk, hands held over a particular page.
The candles in the room flicker harshly, casting eerie shadows all around, wind from the spirits blowing as they communicate their ill-feeling about her intend and lash back, not wanting to do her bidding, but Esther pushes back as always, forcing their hand with her own blood sacrifice.
An image appears; a dark brunette-haired, gray-eyed girl, a young adult, more accurately, lies in a body of water, an orange fishtail on her lower half, propped up on her elbow, watching Netflix on a tablet.
Esther smiles to herself, satisfied, the spirits had obeyed; this girl was the final piece she needed.
She began to chant.
Mimmi was having a good night, her cat Posideon had been fed for the night at her house and she was currently in the Moon Pool with her tablet, watching one of her favorite Vampire Diaries episodes (Dangerous Liaisons, mainly because Elijah was so hot, honestly she could cry, in a suit, and she was Team Original) on Netflix. While simultaneously combing her hair in her handmade comb her pod makes and uses.
Out of nowhere wind began to howl, Mimmi looks around but doesn't find the culprit, and in another flash of light, Mimmi found herself stumbling straight out of reality and into some type of insanity.
"Oh My God!" Were the first words out of Mimmi's mouth as she stares around the room. The words that the land people use were WAYYYY too 'inappropriate' for Mimmi to say as she says so she uses phrases such as 'OMG, Oh My God, or Mermaid Council' (don't ask).
She's dressed in a blue tank top but goes down to her bottom, nothing too short, her hair in curls down past her shoulders, but split so one half in on one arm and the other half of hair on her other arm and her short (but not too short) jean shorts. She has light makeup on and pink lip gloss.

"Do not be startled." A woman says, Mimmi recognized her but didn't quite believe it, she had gone insane, Mimmi thought to herself.
"Oh god," Mimmi says lowly, walking slowly, backing up, and frantically looking for an exit.
"I apologize. I did not mean to scare you. I truly mean you no harm. I am Esther." Esther introduces.
"Yeah, I- god. I must be hallucinating. Or seriously have watched too much tv… Or read too many fanfictions." Mimmi mutters to herself that last bit.
"I assure you I am very real," Esther assures, moving forward at a much too fast pace for Mimmi's comfort.
"Okay..." Mimmi says, eyes finally spotting the door.
"I would not recommend you leave," Esther comments lightly.
"Why? Why should I NOT leave?" Mimmi questions strongly, defensive nature coming out with the lessons Zac had taught her about stranger danger.
"Only that I need your help. And I'm sure you have many questions as to why you are here." Esther says. "Also, my children would probably not be very friendly."
"Yes, I do have questions, a few. Mainly to the reason why I am here." Mimmi says, deciding to play dumb.
Honestly, she wasn't sure how much Esther knew about her, or why she needed her. She supposed it was with her mermaid blood. In mermaid school, she learned that mermaids were killed and their blood was used for spells. But she hated the Original Witch, and would frankly help Niklaus take her down. I mean, she wasn't, human, she COULD help. Also, she figured Finn would probably kill her in a second, but you know, if she could, she would try to help.
"Do you believe in the supernatural?" Esther asks, turning her back on Mimmi, clearly not thinking she was much of a threat.
"Well if you brought me here then you probably saw me in the Moon Pool which means you probably saw me in my mermaid form, and this, this is a tv show, and you're a Witch so, yes?"
"Witches, vampires, werewolves. You will find, that they exist. At least in this world. And I am a witch. One of the first. My children, I created into vampires, first to protect them from werewolves. But they grew into savages. And now they have lived for thousands of years, a curse that has stretched across generations. As their mother, I must undo the damage I have caused. They are truly an abomination, a betrayal to nature. You are correct, I did see you in your Mermaid form, and that's exactly what I need, your mermaid blood because it has a lot of properties that I need for the spell I am using to kill my children. Esther says. "I need your help."
"Won't that kill all the vampires though?" Mimmi asks softly.
"Yes," Esther says, clearly looking a bit surprised that Mimmi had asked, Elena not smart enough to put two and two together about what she was saying.
"How can you want to kill your children? Or all of the vampires. They're your children." Mimmi says. "Certainly you should want to change them or help them to be better. You're their Mother!"
"They're an abomination. They cannot change. I watched for a thousand years on the Other Side. That was my punishment." Esther said.
"You're punishing a whole race. Because of your mistake. And your guilt, wanting your redemption. Find it somewhere else. Like a church. I'm not going to help you." Mimmi complains.
Esther's gaze hardens, and before Mimmi could blink, Esther was clutching a cup of water and spilling it on her arm, tugging harshly.
"Hey!" Mimi complains loudly, yanking at her arm instinctively, before her defense class from Zac kicks in, surging forward to take Esther off guard, then jerking back hard.
It was too late, however, Mimmi managed to fall hard on the tile floor her tail sprout out. Esther managed to pick a scale off of Mimmi's tail and draw blood across the tail, the pain searing through Mimmi's tail.
"OW!" Mimmi complains loudly, trying to grasp at her tail but to no avail, as it is on her lower half and Mimmi is laying on her stomach. Blood pooled rapidly. Seriously, what was with people in tv shows and movies always cutting the most sensitive part of someone or their bodies? Mimmi had never had something cut her tail. She even made fun of the character and how it made no logical sense and it was seriously overdramatic. And now Mimmi had honest to god proof it was very true. It HURT.
"You do not understand. You are doing a great service to the world. You should be honored, little girl." Esther says, bending down and forcefully holding Mimmi's lower half tail over a bowl so Mimmi's blood drips into it.
"Yeah, honored my butt. Your a bitch, is what you are. What you're doing is atrocious. What you're doing is murdering your own children. What type of mother does that?! And you can kiss my butt." Mimmi says surprising not only herself with her crude language but also Esther as she had not yet heard her say a curse word. Mimmi doesn't often say stuff like this but she felt like it was right, but she definitely won't be saying the b-word again. Mimmi glaring at the Original Witch, flipped her tail away as hard as she could, Esther not expecting this dropped bowl with the still dripping blood. Mimmi whipped out her hand and started drying her tail. Once on her feet again faces a glaring Esther and whips out her hand again and burns the witch and with enough distraction, runs to the nearest door.
She gasps softly as she comes face to face with a hallway and she can hear ball music a hallway down so she figures that she really is in the episode Dangerous Liaisons.
She runs to the nearest room which is right next to Esther's study closes the door and breaths a sigh of relief still facing the door, face planted into the door eyes closed she figured she'd think of a game plan after she got away from the Original Bitch. (not that she'd say that out loud) Maybe she'd try to talk to Elijah, he was the more rational, less homicidal one of the brothers, and less likely to kill her on spot, at least in the tv show he was. That was sort of a game plan right?
Mimmi's face planted into the door eyes closed she hears an awfully familiar voice.
"Are you lost?" The voice says, Mimmi spins around a gasp falling from her lips.
"It's you"
