Last time on The Komi Alternative Project:

Itan Private High School was burnt to a crisp. Then Tadano and Komi realised their past life wasn't that of a regular teenager… But it was that of a hero. Chapter 1: Tadano is hurt, Natter heals Tadano?

A couple of days ago…

"It can't be! IT'S NOT TRUEEEEE! TADANO-SAAAAAAAN!" Cried Komi out loud.

Komi tried to call for help… But her efforts were futile. 3 seconds later she decided to pick up Tadano and rush him to his house. When she arrived, She was greeted with sympathy. She brought Tadano to his room where he usually sleeps. But his sister wasn't there. She took this time to do medical treatment on Tadano, But she didn't know what to do as she doesn't do first aid. She just sat there, Crying her eyes out. Not knowing what to do, She wished somebody would come to help. As if her wish were granted… Natter came out of the middle of nowhere and tried to calm her down. "Don't worry Komi. I can heal Tadano with this." said Natter calmingly. But she didn't calm down. So he lifted his hand over Tadano and said some weird words. Then, Charlie tried to comfort Komi by giving her Tadano's gift.

"Tadano told me to give this to you. He's my brother ya know." Said Natter. (Not really IRL. Just in the book. Remember it's an alternate timeline.)

"The magic I inflicted on Tadano will heal him, But at the cost of fragmenting a memory. I chose the one about the cat incident. So don't worry about him." Said Natter comfortingly.

Then Natter left after giving her the box.

Komi tried to write in her notebook, But she was too upset to write a question for Natter.

The next day…

"Komi was with Tadano all night.." said Komi's worried mother. "She's been worried sick. I don't know what to do… She won't come out…"

"Maybe… Since the visit from natter… Tadano has been looking alot less uhh… Banged up." Said Naijimi.

Both Naijimi and Komi's Mother were at Tadano's house to check up on him and Komi.

At Tadano's bedroom…

"Shouko? Are you feeling any better? Is tadano awake?" said Komi's Mother. She opened the door and saw Komi sleeping with Tadano. Well. Trying to. She couldn't fall asleep. She was also hugging Tadano trying to get him back to life. Then… Magically… He woke up. Slowly but surely. Komi saw his eyes open and immediately hugged him more. Why was komi so affectionate towards him? Their friendship was unbreakable. That's why.
