This is a one shot with Olivia and Fin. It's not my normal but I had it on my mind.

Olivia was sitting in the squad room, "Why the long face?" She looked up and saw Fin with two cups of coffee. "Do you miss your partner?" Fin had to tease her, Liv and Elliot had a thing or everyone thought they did. Olivia rolled her eyes, "No." Elliot was away at Quantico for training. "He does have a wife you know and all those kids." Fin sat down and laughed, "You two are just close, Liv." Olivia frowned, "He's been different lately, off. Something doesn't seem right."
Cragen popped out of the office. "You two have a call." They arrived at an apartment building. Alicia Harding, host of "Neighborhood Predator" used a taser to subdue a man. They were filming and catching predators after young girls. Fin was mad and snapped at Harding, "You can't just use a taser on people. Give it to me now!" Harding frowned, "The other officer took it away." Fin looked at Olivia, rolled his eyes, and walked away, "Well he doesn't like me."
Olivia was surprised, "Sonya, what are you doing here?" Sonya Paxton was the ADA working with the team. "It's personal, her sister Vanessa went missing 25 years ago." The abduction case is still open. She called me. Look at the box." Olivia called Fin back over. They saw a scarf that was delivered in the box covered in blood. Olivia shook her head, "You have a stalker."
They all went back to the squad room to talk to Harding. They came up with a list of possible suspects. Fin reported, "The lab is still working on the scarf, the blood is human and no more than 2 days old." Olivia pulled up the video conference and they all saw Elliot. Even though he was away, he offered help. Stabler smirked "Fin may have your six but he's definitely not me." Fin fired back, "I'm better. I actually watch her back and not her backside. See ya" He shut off the monitor. Olivia looked confused, "Fin, what was that about?" Fin shrugged and went to get more information.
They solved the case, but it went totally left. The stalker killed ADA Paxton. Olivia found her struggling to breath in a pool of blood. "Fin! Oh my gosh! Get help!" Olivia and Sonya weren't friends, not by a long shot, but it was traumatic. Olivia talked to Melinda Warner on the scene and came out covered in blood. Elliot was back and they embraced in a hug.
Olivia cried, "I'm really glad you're back." The hug continued and Fin watched from a distance. "I should have come back sooner." Olivia saw Fin and pulled away, "I'm ok!" He squinted, "Like hell you are." Fin turned the corner and Olivia met him to head back to the squad. "Elliot saves the day." Olivia didn't know what was up, but Fin was upset.
Months passed and Elliot was still disconnected. Cragen actually paired Olivia and Fin up a lot. They worked well together, they always did. She had known Fin almost as long as Elliot. He was a good friend, hell he even helped her through one of the hardest times in her life.
They were driving back to the squad room from an undercover operation. Elliot had the perp in a separate car. "Do you remember when you saved me from being raped when we were undercover in the prison?" Fin looked at her, "Of course, but I don't like for you to think about it." Olivia smiled, "Yeah, it was a bad time and then came the PTSD. You helped me through all of it though." Fin smiled, "I won't let anyone hurt you." Olivia smiled back, "I know!"
Little did know 20 minutes later, he would have to keep that promise. A young girl, upset about her mother's killer getting away, brought a gun to the squad room. She fired off rounds, injuring and killing several people. Fin saved Olivia again, but Elliot had to take the girl out. Elliot turned in his papers and left without even a goodbye.
Olivia sat in her apartment on the couch, wrapped in a blanket. She looked out into the nighttime sky from her apartment building. A knock on the door brought her from her thoughts. She sighed, "Coming." When she opened the door she saw her friend, "Hey Fin." Fin smiled knowing she was hurting, "I've got Chinese and an extra egg roll just for you." They ate, talked, and laughed.
He wanted her to forget, but he knew she couldn't. "It's ok to miss him, Liv." You two worked together for a decade, longer than my marriage." Olivia was sad, "He just left Fin. I called and he wouldn't even answer. That hurts more than anything." Fin frowned, "Liv, he shot a teenage girl who watched her mother die in front of her days before. He probably thought you would talk him out of retiring. Liv, he was struggling before, even you saw that. He wasn't going to be the same."
Olivia shook her head, "Me talk him out of something?" Fin laughed, "You can be very persuasive." Olivia thought about how things were changing, "How's the new girl? The blonde? I'm sure you're all over that." Fin shook his head, "She's cool Liv. Young, smart, but not my type."
Olivia bit her lip, "I like your look much better without the ponytail." Fin laughed, "Ohhhh! Ok! I like your look without the short boy cut." They both laughed and fell into each other's arms. Then it happened, they were close and touching when Olivia leaned in and kissed his lips. "Your lips are softer than I imagined." She kissed him again and sucked on his bottom lip. "Liv, what are you doing?" Olivia smiled, "You don't like it?" Fin smiled, "Of course. I just don't want a one night thing. I care about you too much."
Olivia squinted, "So you're saying, unless I totally commit to you right now, we can't fuck." Fin laughed, "I'm saying we could try." Olivia sat back and Fin thought he missed his chance, "Fin, promise me something, if we don't work, friends for life." Fin picked her up bridal style, "Absolutely!"
He put her on the bed and pulled off his shirt. Olivia saw he actually had a little muscle under his baggy clothes. She loved how she could see Calvin Klein on the top of his underwear. She pulled off her shirt, "Shit Liv! No bra? Your body is sexy as fuck." She winked, "You're not too bad yourself. He pulled off her shorts, "No panties?" She undid his belt and unbuttoned his jeans. He stepped out and she knew he was bigger than any guy she had been with.
He disappeared between her legs. He kissed each inner thigh. She felt him licking and sucking and he hadn't even got to the real thing. "Fuck Fin! Are you leaving a mark?" He laughed and continued. He kissed her lower lips and used his tongue to push in and out until he made her cum. "Fuck!"
