A/N: I don't own any of these characters except my OC that will be introduced later. Disney owns these characters (and Fox, I guess) also inspired and based on Pocket Princess's idea/scenario. Enjoy!

Hmmm… Hmmm… Hmmm… Hmmm… Hmmm… Hmmm…Hmmm…

Anastasia shot opened her eyes and sat up immediately from her bed. She looked over to see Dimitri lying on his side. She didn't have to see his eyes to know he was still fast asleep. The man could sleep through an earthquake. She then looked to see Pooka snuggling himself in a ball as he slept at the foot of the bed. Anastasia sighed and turned to the single mirror dressing table on her side. There, along with a few simple makeup items, was her prized possession, her music box. Anastasia pushed the covers off her and got of bed, revealing a pink Capri and matching short sleeve nightshirt with the cuff made of lace and lace that swirled around her stomach, with hair out and a white bow tied around the top of the back part of her head. She went over to the dresser and picked up her music box.

She heard a voice in her dreams, and it wasn't hers. It wasn't her, her grandmother's lullaby or song her family would sing. She didn't know what it was. She slowly walked out of her bedroom into the dining room. On the left side of the room was a glass door that led to a small balcony. Anastasia gently grabbed the key necklace around her neck, placed it in the music box slot, and turned it. The lid to the music box lifted with two figures, her mother and father, twirling. She couldn't help but sing…

"Dancing bears painted wings; things I almost remember. And a song someone sings; once upon a December."

Anastasia placed her music box on the dining table as it continued to play. She opened the double doors and soon found herself on the balcony. However, she heard a different voice. It almost reminded her of stories of a siren…

Ariel walked along the beach in her pink nightgown with a pink ruffle collar and matching cuffs. She loved the night air, and she loved the ocean, her old home. However, she was out because a voice she never heard kept her up. So did what she always did; sing…

"Ah, ah; ah, ah; ah,ah,ah,ah. Ah, ah; ah, ah; ah,ah,ah,ah; ah, ah…"

Anastasia couldn't help but respond, even if she thought it was a siren…

Ariel couldn't help but echo…

"Someone holds me safe and warm. (Ahhhh) Horses prance through a silver storm, (Ahhhh), Figures dancing gracefully, (Ahhhh Ahhhh). Across my memory/Ahhhh."

Ariel sighed as she continued to walk down the beach. She still felt… strange, walking and all…

"Look at this stuff; isn't it neat? Wouldn't you think my collections complete?

Wouldn't you think I'm the girl, the girl who has everything…"

Aurora always felt at home in the forest. Granted, she never walked in it a light purple nightgown with long sleeves and a small thin blue rope tied around her waist. Then again, she never heard voices in her head or felt like she was in a trance in a long time…

"I know you; I walked with you once upon a dream. I know you; that look in your eyes is so familiar a gleam…."

Belle, to say the least, was a night owl. She would spend late nights reading, much to Adam's chagrin. However, this night was different, as she walked around her dark library in her purple nightgown with long sleeves with ruffled purple lace on the collar, cuff, and base of the gown. She felt strange. The voice in her dream didn't help, but she couldn't put her finger on it, and she was not alone…

"Little town, full of little people…."

"You'll love me at once, the way you did once…."

"Waking up to say/Upon a dream."

Elsa had once more found her outside the castle in the middle of the night. She was dressed in a dark purple glittery nightgown with a transparent veil around the skirt. Another night of something calling her, but it felt warmer and mysterious as last time and… more freeing…

"Let it go, let it go! Can't hold it back anymore!"

Meanwhile, inside the castle, Anna was wide awake. She was starting to understand why Elsa felt strange when she heard voices. Anna rushed around the hall in her green nightgown with a few Arendelle patterns at the base. She didn't feel afraid; she felt…enchanted…

"Cause for the first time in forever; there'll be music, there'll be light!"

The two sisters were known the less puzzled; even apart, they felt the same.

Rapunzel stood outside her balcony in her light blue nightgown with short lace sleeves and a white lace top that stopped a little above her chest. She had stranger nights with voices and dreams. So, she did what she did best; embrace them…

"Just smell the grass! The dirt! Just like I dreamed they'd be! Just tell me, when will my life begin?

Snow White was no fan of the dark. She was amazed she was even outside this late.

Snow White walked through the forest in her a simple pale-yellow nightgown. Her dreams and the voices seemed to be telling her to move… if that meant anything.

"Someday, my prince will come. Someday we'll meet again."

Cinderella twirled in the middle of the ballroom in her bright blue nightgown. Though her dreams and the voices she heard were strange, she felt wonderful…

"A dream is a wish your heart makes; when you're fast asleep. No matter how your heart is grieving…."

Pocahontas wondered and ran through the forest in a short brown nightgown, similar to her normal outfit. She was familiar with strange dreams and voices. However, something made this all so different…

"Can you paint with all the colors of the wind?"

Snow White, Cinderella, Pocahontas looked up into the night starry sky smiling, unknown that the were doing it at the same time…

"If you keep on believing/I'll find my love someday…."

"Someday when my dreams come true/The dream that you wish will come true/ Until; You can paint with all the colors of the wind."

Elsa soon found herself looking out on the water as the voices echoed louder, and the call to respond became stronger…

"Let it go, let it go, And I'll rise like the break of dawn!"

Anna soon found herself in the room of paintings, but she wasn't in there to play or gaze, but to sing her heart out…

"For the first time in forever; nothing's in my way!"

Anastasia leaned over the edge and responded as if she was shouting to the city.

"On this journey to the past!"

Merida found herself walking outside in a plain white nightgown as she found herself near the stables while Angus, her horse, slept. She had no plan to ride him; her dreams and the voices kept nagging her to no end. She couldn't help but just respond…

"When the cold wind is a-calling, and the sky is clear and bright. Misty mountains sing and beckon; lead me out into the light. I will ride, I will fly, Chase the wind and touch the sky. I will fly, Chase the wind and touch the sky."

Mulan walked out into her family garden in a short light blue Capri pants sleeveless top. Her dreams and voices just seemed to follow her even outside. She could only call back…

"Now I see if I wear a mask, I can fool the world, but I cannot fool my heart. Must I pretend that I am someone else for all time?"

Merida just felt a stronger urge in her heart to continue…

"Cause I will ride, I will fly; chase the wind and touch the sky/When will my reflection show Who I am inside?"

"Cause I will ride, I will fly; chase the wind and touch the sky/When will my reflection show Who I am inside?"

Tiana found herself in a simple green nightgown inside her restaurant. Naveen wouldn't be happy, but her dreams couldn't be ignored, and neither could voices the called to her…

"And I'm almost there. I'm almost there…."

Pocahontas began to sing her heart out once more…

"There's been trials and tribulations/ Just around the river bend. You know I've had my share/Or do you still wait for me, dream giver. But I've climbed the mountain; I've crossed the river. And I'm almost there/Just around the river bend."

Jasmine walked to her balcony in her purple see-through fade skirt and a purple strapless bra top. Her dreams were the thing that woke her up, but the voices are what caused her to sing out…

"A dazzling place I never knew, but when I'm way up here, it's crystal clear. That now I'm in a whole new world with you…."

Rapunzel soon felt more enchanted by the voices…

"Unbelievable sights/All at once everything looks different. Indescribable feeling/Now that I see you."

Elsa soon found herself at the top of the cliff as the voices became clearer and louder, and she wasn't the only one…

Each princess felt their hearts fill up faster with something that she hadn't felt in a while. This is something they couldn't ignore anymore…

"Ah ah oh oh."

"Ah ah oh oh."

"Ah ah oh oh."

"Ah ah oh oh."

And soon their hearts became one…

"Oh, oh oh oh. Oh, oh oh oh. Oh, oh oh oh. Oh, oh oh oh. Oh, oh oh oh. Oh, oh oh oh."

In sweet longing, Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora, and Anastasia reached out as if trying to touch the stars.

"Where are you going?"

Ariel, Belle, Jasmine, Pocahontas, and Mulan clenched their hearts as if it was aching.

"Don't leave me alone."

Tiana, Rapunzel, Merida, Anna, and Elsa couldn't help run to the edge of where they stood or to a window.

"How do I follow you…."

Anna placed her hand over her as if she was embracing someone…

"Cause I'm holding on tight to you…."

"Anna?"

Anna didn't turn to the voice, but she knew who it was. However, before she could respond, the voices were quiet and immediately she felt heavy and hot, and her stomach started to hurt. She soon fell to her knees.

"Anna!"

Soon world her world went dark.

Snow White smiled brightly as she placed her hands together as if she was praying.

"Holding on tight to you—"

Suddenly the voices were gone. She felt lonely.

"Milady?"

Snow White looked up to see a man she knew. "Daniel?" However, before she could question it more, Snow White felt dizzy. "Oh, I feel strange." She soon fell, but instead of landing on the ground, she landed in someone's arms.

"I have to take you to the castle. How on earth did you get here from the cottage, alone in the dark?"

Before she could answer, her world got darker.

Cinderella continued to smile as she looked to the sky.

"Holding on tight to you—"

Immediately as the voice faded from her mind, her head felt funny.

"Princess! Princess! What earth are you doing?! You could catch a cold!"

Before she could calm one of her maids, she felt weak and soon fell to her knees as her world went dark.

Aurora sighed as she leaned against the tree with a warm smile.

"Holding on tight to you—"

Aurora suddenly couldn't hear the voices anymore. She began to feel weak. Then suddenly she heard a horse neighing.

"Aurora!"

Before she could even look to the noise, Aurora soon felt herself slide down the side of the tree and soon slipped into darkness.

Ariel smiled as she looked out into the ocean.

"Holding on tight to you—"

Immediately, she only began to hear the swishing of the ocean. Ariel soon felt dizzy. "What's…" she whispered weakly. She soon heard barking. "Max?" she questioned. However, as soon as she stepped forward, she fell to her knees and slipped into darkness.

Belle clasped her hand over her heart.

"Holding on tight to you—"

Belle suddenly her legs felt wobbly as the voices disappeared.

"Belle?!"

Belle heard the doors slam open, and she turned as best as she could. There at her door, she saw her worried husband standing in his pajamas. Belle tried to calm him, but she fell on her knees as soon as she took a step.

"Belle!"

Belle wanted to calm his worry, but no words came, and she slipped into the black.

Jasmine smiled into the dark city of Agrabah.

"Holding on tight to you—"

Suddenly she heard no voices. Jasmine suddenly felt strange and used most of her strength to hold onto the rail of the balcony. "What—"

She immediately stopped as she heard a low growl. She saw Rajah looking worried. "Rajah… get… Aladdin."

Jasmine wanted to say more but soon slipped into darkness as the last thing she heard was Rajah's roar.

Pocahontas looked out to the forest with a small smile.

"Holding on tight to you—"

As the voices disappeared, Pocahontas felt the weakest she had ever felt.

"Child, what are you doing here?"

Pocahontas turned to see an old oak, but a face appeared in the trunk of the tree. "Grandmother Willow?" Pocahontas wanted to walk but with too wobbly. She then felt leaves brush against her.

"Breathe child, breathe."

Pocahontas did as she was told and soon slipped into darkness.

Mulan sat on the stone bench in her parent's garden and looked at the cherry blossoms.

"Holding on tight to you—"

Soon the voices that sang with her disappeared, she felt sick, and her head was swimming. She immediately called her for help as best as she could.

"Bàba…Māmā… Mushu… Shang."

She heard a rustling noise and small voices. She soon couldn't stay awake anymore and slipped into darkness.

Tiana soon found at the window looking at Ray and Evangeline with a smile on her face.

"Holding on tight to you—"

As the voices vanished, Tiana suddenly felt sick and dizzy. "Oh no, what's going on?" she questioned herself. Suddenly she heard banging at the door.

"Tiana! Tiana! Please open up. This early even for you."

"Tia! Tia! You're scaring the devil out of us. Now open up."

Tiana tried to walk to the door to her worried friend and husband but could barely walk. The last thing she was her restaurant doors slamming open, before her world went dark.

Rapunzel looked to the sky as if they were her lanterns.

"Holding on tight to you—"

Soon the voices faded, Rapunzel tried to go inside, but her head suddenly started pounding. She gave a small scream in shock.

"Rapunzel?"

Rapunzel wanted to answer her husband, but she immediately patted her head. She wondered if her hair was growing again. What's happening to her now? She didn't even do anything this time. Before she could question the situation more, she felt her body weaken more before her world went dark.

Merida looked into the distance beyond her homeland.

"Holding on tight to you—"

Once the voice vanished, Merida soon felt her head and stomachache, causing her to bend over. "Oh, glory! What is acting meh?!"

Her outburst caused Angus started to wake up and started neighing like crazy. Merida groaned but soon felt weak as she began to hear voices of concern. She had to leave cause her mother would kill her for being out this late. However, as soon as she tried to move, her world went black.

Elsa soon found herself smiling at the open water that surrounded her kingdom.

"Holding on tight to you—"

As voices faded from her, Elsa soon felt weak and grabbed her head. "What…" she muttered. "Is… it my powers?" No, this felt different from her powers.

"Queen Elsa! Please, where are you?" a voice echoed. "Please, Princess Anna is sick."

Elsa mustered as soon as she heard Anna was sick. However, even with all her strength, she couldn't make it far and soon fell to the ground and slipped into a world of darkness.

Anastasia reeled her hand back as she was coming back to reality. The voices were gone, and she was alone…again.

"I'm holding on tight to you…."

Anastasia felt weak but was able to sit at her dining table as she turned her music box key again, and the notes played as her body felt weaker and weaker. She then laid her head on the table as the music played its final notes.

"Once upon a December…"

Anastasia soon slipped into darkness…

I grant you the gift never to be alone again. And we start with once upon a time; once again
