Chapter 1: BREAKING DAWN
It was all quiet in Star City, too quiet actually and that was something that was very rare. The Arrow stood poised and kneeled on the rooftop looking down at the city streets below him watching, waiting for anything to happen. Cause no matter what anything wasn't just anything around here, especially in the glades. The glades was the worst part of the town, but he still was and will always be the hero, his city needed him to be. He soon put a hand to the com in his ear and began to talk into the comm. "There isn't anything here, Felicity. Are you sure about this, and just what is it am i suppose to look for if i don't know what it is."
"Yes i am sure, i am looking at the location of the target site. This is the place, Damien Darhk is going to hit next, i am positive about this."
"Well, he isn't here yet, Felicity. just how sure are you about this".
"I am 100 percent positive Oliver, he just is. " Before long there was movement, both on the screen in front of her and what Oliver was seeing. "That isn't Damien, Felicity. I don't know who he is, but it does look fishy to me, i'm going in for a closer look." The Arrow pulled a grappling hook Arrow from his quiver and rested on his hand holding the bow, and pulled back on the bowstring and the arrow loose and he soon slid down from the rooftop he was on to another rooftop's ledge and leaned over to see the man greet another man. the 2 men soon shook hands and one of them smiled, and replied. " it was nice doing business with you.." Before long as the man the Arrow was watching walked away, the other pulled out a gun about to shoot him in the back, when out of the blue, the gun flew out of the man's hand and a grey Masked man in a strange looking dark grey suit and matching grey cowl appeared. He didn't hesitate, he began fighting, yet his fighting skills were clean, smooth and very fluid. The method of fighting skills the grey guy has was way more than impressive, too impressive. At least in the Arrow's eyes. Before too long, felicity spoke over the comm." Oliver Are you there ? I hear fighting. "
"Yeah, felicity i'm here. But I am not the one fighting, someone else is. his skills are unique and very sharp. I can't make out who he is, he is wearing dark grey suit and cowl. "
"O...kay, i am going to see what i can find on our mysterious visitor, Oliver just come back home. for all we know we could be dealing with another vigilante."
"Good idea, keep me posted. I wiill be home soon, I have a lead on something that might help us. It's a hunch, so i am gonna act on it. Don't wait up for me." He soon turned off his comm, and pulled out another grappling arrow, and shot it upwards gliding up to the queen industries building. As he soon reached for a hidden satchel, carrying and holding nice folded up clothes inside of it and changed from his Arrow suit, to an Oliver Queen Suit. as he began to walk down stairs, straightening his tie had accidentally ran into someone he never had the chance to meet. He was of medium height, with semi long dark brown hair with a matching goatee and thick black brim glasses. Oliver soon held out his hand into a greeting." Hello I am Oliver Queen and you are ?"
"I am Ian Allen Thomas III of I.A.T. Inc. Nice meeting you mr. queen. I apologize for this intrusion but i have a business proposition for you. I know you no longer run Queen Industries but i would like to offer you a position, by running one of my affiliate companies. It's a position that best suits a man like you. Don't get me wrong i only make bussiness's for the people by the people. So yes that's right, you heard me correctly." He soon pulled out a contract from the inside of his suit coat pocket and handed it to him. "Please, think it over before you decide. take all the time you need. I know it is a big offer, that and i just don't like hearing the word 'NO' that much." Oliver took the contract, and placed it in his suit coat pocket. "Yes, i will look it over when i get home. besides i need to talk to my wife about this. She helps me handle this sort of thing. "
"I understand that," Ina replied back, vied with. "thank you again, it is greatly appreciated." With that in mind they both went there seperate ways, and Ian just smirked as he walked off while Oliver just looked at him with an odd look and shook his head. and went his own way.
