Yet, The Danced
AN, I do not own anything of Uncle Rick's, only the plot and specific characterization :) anyway take some nice caleo Fluff
They were ridiculous, truly.
The two stood in the middle of Central Park together, hands adjoined and they danced.
There really was nothing romantic about that day, what with Zeus's thunder almost commanding mortals, and beings alike, to seek shelter.
Yet, they danced. They danced in defiance of the world around them. The honking of taxis, people yelling, and getting places (as they tend to in New York) forgotten as they seemed lost in each other's eyes, each with their own expression of contentedness.
The rain was pouring down, the sky casting a dark umbrella on the (another word for world) yet it was somehow impossible to not notice the glow of his eyes: so bright as if they were the warmth of a hearth itself, which they really could have been. He stared into her soul with a warmth that is saved only for the most precious.
"Mi amor" he whispered to her softly as he spontaneously pulled her into an elegant dip that she managed to execute flawlessly.
"Leo, what have we said about quoting cheesy, overrated sitcoms," though her face had lit up with a soft smile.
Calypso continued to lead their dance that seemed to be to a silent, romantic music that the two shared between them, while bringing Leo impossibly closer to her in her arms.
"Not to?" He grinned, though they both seemed to enjoy the banter
Leo glanced down at her, eyes catching her lips before seeing her clothes. Soaked to the bone. He frowned at the passing thought of her getting hypothermia, but could an ex-immortal get hypothermia? His thoughts raced as he decided upon what he would do: he'd create an umbrella that instead of simply reflecting water would store to shoot like a water gun with large range so he could shoot Zeus for giving his honey sickle hypothermia. His lips twitched before he rolled his eyes at himself and warmed his skin up, pulling her into a tight hug.
Calypso must have somehow caught on to his thought process since she stifled laughter when Leo pulled her in, placing his chin on her forward.
Yet they danced, they unknowingly danced the night away in that park, both truly happy with their children at home spamming their phone numbers out of fear that their parents had been murdered or taken away.
