Summary – What happens when Shockwave gets his revenge on Optimus for killing his pet Driller and works with another villain who has an ax to grind with aliens anyway. The outcome is more horrible than anyone could imagine.
The Unthinkable
Chapter 1
Optimus Prime had been heading for National City he was going to pick up Samuel James Witwicky and his girlfriend Mikaela Banes. However, he got sidetracked when Shockwave suddenly appeared out of nowhere from the ground with one of his pet Drillers.
Optimus swerved and abruptly transformed his battle mask slammed down over his mouth, as his energon blade was unsheathed. The one-eyed Con watched him as Optimus realized there were others behind him, he spun around and saw some Vehicons behind him. He wasted no time dispensing with them, however, that left Shockwave unwatched.
The Autobot Commander swiftly found himself engaged with Shockwave in a furious locked on battle.
"You will pay for killing my one Driller, Prime," Shockway snarled as he sent punch after punch at the Prime.
Optimus took each punch and gave as good as he received, but Shockwave was relentless and was hell-bent on winning. So, he sent a crippling punch knocking Optimus down onto the ground shaking the ground, while Shockwave got on top of the Autobot Commander and Prime and placed something inside of him close to his audios.
Optimus growled, and tried to fight what was being done to him, he had an idea what it was but couldn't be sure.
"Get off me," Optimus growled as Shockwave started the device which made Optimus yell out in pain.
His optics from bright brilliant azure to yellow, as he stopped struggling and Shockwave moved away.
"Is he ready?" asked a male voice as Shockwave glanced down at the human male and several of his flunkies.
"Yes, the subject is ready," Shockwave said.
"Good, these two that he is going to pick up we will allow them to be the ones he kills, that should attract the attention of Supergirl," the unidentified man said.
Shockwave glanced down at the human who some odd-looking mask on his face.
"Just who are you?" Shockwave demanded.
His question earned a laugh.
"I am Agent Liberty I am the leader of the Children of Liberty and I despise all aliens, but if Supergirl is seen attacking and injuring Optimus Prime. After he kills two supposed friends it will prove my point in National City that all Aliens can't be trusted," he explained.
Shockwave planted the suggestion into Optimus' processors that he had to kill Samuel James Witwicky and Mikaela Banes because they had actually done something wrong, Optimus accepted the suggestion as Shockwave knew he would.
Optimus got up and acted as nothing happened and he transformed and drove off and headed for National City. Agent Liberty smirked under the mask because his plan was coming together very nicely, and soon things would be getting quite interesting.

National City…
Optimus had arrived in National City, and he arrived at the place where Sam and Mikaela had said they'd be. His processors were aching, and he scanned and found them waiting for him. He was not sure if he should dispense his justice now or take them somewhere else, but then he just figured doing it there would suit his mood.
He pulled up but never opened his door as Sam and Mikaela both frowned at that.
"Are you going to open the door?" Sam laughed.
Silence…..
"Prime?" Sam questioned.
"Did you think I wouldn't find out?" Optimus asked flowing with the suggestion placed in his processors.
"Huh?" Sam asked a little taken back.
"I know of your treachery and would you like to know what I plan to do about it?" Optimus asked in a sinister tone as Sam and Mikaela backed up a little scared of him now.
"Optimus what is wrong with you?" Sam demanded as he got in front of Mikaela.
Abruptly, Optimus transformed in front of everyone thus startling both Sam and Mikaela.
"What the hell is he doing?" Mikaela asked Sam.
"Something is wrong with him, look at his eyes," Sam replied as she did.
"Since when are they yellow?" she asked.
"They aren't someone got to him or this isn't Optimus," Sam remarked. "Optimus snap out of this, it's us, Sam and Mikaela!" Sam yelled.
Optimus merely took his blaster out and pointed it at Sam, and fired sending Sam flying as Mikaela was covered in Sam's blood as she screamed Sam's name. She ran over toward him but she could tell there was no coming back from it.
"How could you!" she screamed at Optimus.
Optimus gave her an eerie smile before he fired at her as well killing not just Sam but her as well.
However, the DEO had been alerted about this and Supergirl was on the way, and Alex contacted NEST to have them be on hand with the other Autobots as well.
Supergirl found Optimus quickly and Optimus heard her coming and tried firing at her, but quickly realized the weapons were not working on her.
Optimus went to try another weapon but Supergirl used her heat vision on his knee joint enough to make him fall to the ground. However, when he glanced up Supergirl used her heat vision on him once more this time on his optic which made him yell out in pain. She kept focused on the optic severing everything inside the optic until the beam exited the back of his helm.
It did not kill him because it missed his brain module, Optimus' optic was a mess energon was streaming down his face. Supergirl flew toward him punching his helm knocking him to the ground as the device Shockwave planted on him suddenly fell out leaving Optimus terribly confused and badly damaged.
"You don't think you can come to my city I protect and kill people, especially people who are supposed to be your friends!" Supergirl shouted.
"W….What?" Optimus slurred through static as his only good optic flashed error messages over and over again.
His body was on fire with agony. He wasn't able to process what this femme was saying to him. Though she looked familiar he couldn't place her at the moment, she sneered at him when she landed.
"You're lucky NEST and your Autobots are coming or I would have trashed you completely," Supergirl stated as Optimus couldn't even look at her he was beyond paralyzed with pain and he couldn't focus no matter how hard he tried.
He couldn't fathom what she thought he had done, and why it warranted her attacking him like this?
