Post DH story exploring Harry and the effects of surviving the wizarding war. Harry has descending into frequent alcohol use and people are struggling to reach out to him. Should anyone bother reaching out? An old Hogwarts professor decides to meet him and discuss the things that have happened. Mention of ADMM (DH compliant) TW Alcoholism, depression, death.

1. Prologue

Hi guys!

I've recently been on a Harry Potter binge and fell in love with Minerva and her potrayal in the books. After reading some ADMM fics I found myself really intersted in the pairing, especially in a post DH context.

So I come with the idea of this fic. Exploring Harry's mental health many years after Deathly Hallows. There is some discussion of alcohol dependency and withdrawal, but there is a bigger focus on facing emotions and not burying them. I have some ADMM sprinkled in, but this is DH compliant as well as the backstory with Grindelwald.

I felt inspired and put together these 9 chapters and I hope somebody gets some joy out of them. I might explore Minerva further in other fics if this one goes down well./strong/p
