A/N: I wanted to start writing short chapters so I don't drive myself crazy writing longer chapters and keeping the readers waiting forever.
I initially wrote this about a week ago but then the spoilers started to come out and then I saw the new episode today and decided to change some things. I would say the chapters would be, between 300-600 words.
I feel I could think of a better title so that may change later on depending on how the story flows...Hope you Enjoy!

"As I get older, things have become very awkward between me and Sesshomaru Sama".
"Well, you are becoming a woman Rin and he has lived a long time in the same age. He looks to be a little bit older than you. He now looks like someone that would court you instead of you being his ward".
Rin thought about this and then she thought about the tongue twister that she only understood. It truly was only for her ears only. It made her blush; how could she forget something like that.
When she looks back, she followed one of the strongest youkai. She never thought she would look at him as someone she would want to be with, a husband maybe. She just simply adored him and appreciated he gave her life again and again.
She was taken out of her thoughts when there was a knock at the door and Kaede called out to her.
"Rin you have a visitor".
She looked up and saw one of the men of the village, Kaito.
Kaito and Rin have become very good friends, but something changed in him. He began to give her gifts and she loved it but now all she can think about is Lord Sesshomaru and his possible proposal.
Was Kaito courting her now? she thought.
She began to feel guilty because if he was, it was bad timing. She couldn't look him in the face and know he possibly would ask for her hand. She had someone out of this world that would stop everything he is doing to protect her. Someone so strong and handsome as she took notice as she got older. He was no human but a youkai, her protector for the last 10 years.
She was now eighteen years old, way past the usual age for marriage during these times; she was considered older. She never anticipated by one thought of Sesshomaru would make her blush. She never thought her face and body transitioning into a woman would bring others to court her.
She was a woman now and certain things she done as a child were no longer expected of her as being a lady. She had to let go of the child like mind and make adult decisions.
So, who would she choose if it were truly Kaito and Sesshomaru courting her?
