The Canary Islands off the coast of the Atlantic Ocean, a functioning cruiser was found resting between the waves. Inside, 3 cups of coffee sat half-full, but there was no trace of the ship's crew. It was empty, with no signs of a struggle. Only one detail seemed strange—a steel box, cut apart by a blowtorch, lay open on the deck, empty. What was inside were two compartments, like it was designed to protect something. Those who saw its unique structure wondered at the treasure which must have been inside. But over time, it was long forgotten…

Jotaro Kujo—age 17 and 195 cm tall. Son to a Japanese jazz musician, currently on tour, and an American mother of British descent. Also has a younger sister by 2 years who attends the same high school as him. This was the information of the man who turned himself in after a recent brawl which he fought 4 crooks armed with nunchaku and knives—one of which was a former boxer. Details say the lone fighter broke 15 bones in their body and completely crushed their balls, landing them in the hospital.

"So, his friends call him Jojo by taking the 'Jo' from his first and last name and combining them? Oh man, that's really lame!" one of the cops, who had a bushy unibrow, laughed.

Jotaro's mother Holly, the said American with blond hair and blueish green eyes and wearing a green skirt with a lighter green shirt, a pearl necklace and purple bracelets with matching-colored earrings, came to the police station to pick him up after the police said he was free to go due to an increase in criminals arrested to the point where there aren't any cells for them. Accompanying her is her daughter Shoko Kujo, Jotaro's little sister. Appearance-wise, she looks like her mother, her hair a light brown shoulder-length bob similar to her mom's chignon. She's wearing the standard purple sailor shirt with a turquoise ribbon and matching purple skirt that covers her knees over a pair of gray stocking with folded socks and brown loafers as her school uniform, plus a pair of turquoise stud earrings.

"I-I need to know… exactly how many people did Jotaro kill?" asked Holly before taking it back in fear.

"Calm down, Ma'am. No one said anything about him killing people" explained a fat cop.

"He just got into a fight, that's all" confirmed the unibrow cop.

After explaining the crime scene and the aftermath of it and a stern warning from the unibrow cop about how he needs to think about the consequences for his actions, the two cops escort Holly and Shoko to Jotaro's cell. As they're almost headed there, Holly sprints to her son's cell in worry. Memories of their time together ranging from Jotaro seeing Shoko for the first time to playing catch at the park to Jotaro's track meet in grade school to his entrance ceremony in middle school and more flooded her senses. She called out for him until he could be seen in his high school uniform—a black gakuran with a gold chain attached at the collar over a pale green tank top with matching black pants flared at the bottom and a school cap torn at the back, making it blend in with his short unkempt hair.

"Shut up! You're pissing me off, you bitch!" he yelled.

"Okay~" was the response he got from his bright and cheerful mother while an annoyed Shoko and the two cops were close behind.

You didn't have to yell at her when she was worried about you being in jail…

Even though Shoko thought that, she knew it best not to annoy her brother any further.

"I promise you, he's a very sweet boy. He's just not capable of doing something so appalling" Holly said before Jotaro laid back in the bed, prompting the unibrow cop to kick the bars.

"Hey, on your feet, Kujo! Your ma and sis came to pick you up! What part of 'go home' don't you understand?!" shouted the Unibrow Cop.

Jotaro, in turn, glares at the cop before turning his gaze towards Holly and Shoko.

"Tch, so not only Mom but you, too, Shoko? Sorry but I'll be staying here. Seems like I've been possessed by an evil spirit, and there's no telling what it'll make me do next. During that fight, it took all I had just to keep this thing at bay—so do everyone a favor and leave me in this cage" said Jotaro as he turns away from them.

Annoyed, the Fat Cop explains, "Do you see what I mean? We're telling him he's free to go, but he refuses to leave. I'm sorry to have to say this, but is everything alright with him upstairs?"

"This isn't a hotel, y'know?" added the Unibrow Cop.

Just then, 3 prisoners who appear to be his cellmates ran to the cell bars screaming in terror: one with a long fringe, a tall bald one, and one with a pink shirt.

"Let us change cells, please!" shouted the long-fringed prisoner.

"He's not lying about the evil spirit!" panicked the bald man.

As his cellmates were talking over each other as they were begging to move to a different cell away from Jotaro, the Unibrow Cop shut them up by banging on the bars with his baton. Then everyone heard what sounded like a can being punctured and turned to see Jotaro drinking a can of beer from the hole he stabbed at the bottom of it.

"Wha-!?" exclaimed the Fat Cop. "What're you doing with a beer in a jailcell?! How did you even get that in there?!"

As Jotaro finished the can, he tossed it aside. His cellmates ran to a corner of the cell far from their intimidating cellmate while Holly and Shoko look on in shock.

"I already told you, it's the evil spirit. And sometimes it likes to bring me things" Jotaro explained.

And just as he said that, a manga flew in Jotaro's hands while a radio instantly turns itself on.

"Now you're reading Shonen Jump while listening to a radio!?" exclaimed the Fat Cop.

"S-Sir, how is that even possible?! We have a major problem here!" the Unibrow Cop panicked.

"Hold it!" Jotaro interrupted as he gets up from the bed and taking off his hat.

"If you think that's bad, then why don't I just show you how dangerous the evil spirit really is? Then you'll see exactly why letting me out of here is a bad idea."

As Jotaro holds out his hand, a transparent purple arm appears and grabs the gun from Unibrow Cop. It looked like it was floating to the rest of them, but Holly and Shoko can clearly see the arm as it retracts back to Jotaro.

"What the-!?" the Unibrow Cop exclaimed. "That's my gun he has in his hand! How was he able to take it?!":

"That's really bad!" panicked the Fat Cop.

"Well did you see it?" Jotaro asked. "If you didn't see the evil spirit, then watch this."

He then pulled the trigger on the gun, Holly and Shoko gasping as they realize what he's going to do.

"N-No! Jotaro!" Holly panicked.

BANG!

The cellmates, the cops, and Holly and Shoko look in horror at the bullet Jotaro shot stopping in midair—caught in the fingers of the purple arm from earlier.

"There's something right behind me," Jotaro explained. "It bound itself to me not long ago..."

Shoko looked to her mom, who's still in shock over what just happened.

My father Joseph has strange powers, but what on earth is happening to my son?

Shoko thought something similar to her mother's thoughts.

I know my big brother always comes back from a fight without a scratch, but this is nuts! And no one but me and Mom could see that hand. What exactly is going on?

"Papa! It's me, Holly, I really need your help!"

Seeing Jotaro's "evil spirit" was a real shock for Holly and Shoko. They didn't really know what to do, so as soon as they got home Holly decided to call someone who might know—her father, Joseph Joestar.

"What is it Holly?"

"The truth is… Jotaro ran into some punks last night and has been arrested. The police say he's free to go and that I should make him reflect on his actions but he refuses to leave. He thinks he's been possessed by an evil spirit…"

"An evil spirirt?"

"Mmhm…" Holly nodded.

"Alright," said Joseph. "there's no need to worry. I'll be right over."

Holly exhales a sigh of relief upon hearing this from her father.

"Oh, thank you, Papa!"

"Hey, don't worry about it! My one and only daughter in trouble? Then I'll be over there in a flash!" Joseph laughed.

Shoko was still shocked about the events that transpired at the jail cell. The inanimate objects floating to her brother, the purple arm coming out of him and even catching the bullet he shot at himself, it just made her more worried about him than ever…

If that thing can catch a speeding bullet in midair, then what's gonna happen if it gets out of jail? How long will Jotaro stay in prison? Can Grandpa Joseph even help him figure out what this evil spirit is? Isn't there anything I can do?

As these thoughts kept swirling in her mind, she felt more and more helpless. Just then, a faint glow caught her attention. What appeared before her was a figure of a woman that doesn't appear quite human. Its body was white with a matching flowing dress and long gloves, a blue veil over golden thorns with blue roses covering its eyes, blue diamonds adorning its chest and hands, and red ankle strap shoes. Shoko was so shocked by the sight that she screamed out in fear, catching her mother's attention.

"What's wrong Shoko?" asked Holly.

"Mom!"

Shoko ran to her mom. Holly was shocked to see the glowing figure and embraced her daughter knew that this was the same as Jotaro's incident in jail. This was Shoko's "evil spirit."

"It's okay, Shoko," Holly reassured. "Your grandfather will come over and help you and Jotaro. I promise."

Even though she said this, Holly was still worried herself.

First Jotaro, and now my sweet Shoko. What am I gonna do? Please hurry, Papa!"

A.N. Hey there, this is my first time posting a fan fic. I've been interested in Jojo's Bizarre Adventure since its debut on Toonami, and got more interested by seeing Stands and how they're similar to Personas in the Persona series. Let me know what you think about this, but do NOT leave any nasty or inappropriate comments!
