CHADrien

Talk to you tomorrow after class?

Buginette

Sure, ok

Also it's 1 am lmao, you really should sleep

CHADrien

You too.

Goodnight bugaboo!

Buginette

Goodnight, kitty.

Adrien rolled from the far side of his bed and sat upright, placing his phone on his bedside table with a goofy grin on his face. He and his lady have been in a relationship for months now, and kwami damn can't he still believe it. HIS lady. He's hers, and she's his. Wasn't he the luckiest black cat in the world?

He laid his head down on his fluffy down pillow beside Plagg, who was currently snoozing his way to Dreamland. Do kwamis dream? They've seen nasty things, hope not. Or probably about cheese, it's Plagg.

Maybe he could lie down on his lady's lap once again? Her pets are great. She's great. Everything about her is great. His drowsy face slipped into a goofy grin, thinking about Maribug. Or Ladynette. They were the same person, the two best peope merged into one.

"Fuck, I'm in love. Again. For the millionth time."

"You can be in love again tomorrow, kid. It's time to sleep."

Adrien jolted, as Plagg probably had from his lovesick muttering.

"Hey, did I say that out loud? Of course I did." The blonde winced, massaging his ankle he accidentally hit on his bed from the surprise jumpscare.

He was a superhero who fights superpowered people possessed by evil magical butterflies, he shouldn't be shocked. But give him a rest, it's literally 1:30. It's probably 1:30 where you are, go sleep.

"It's been a while since an akuma attacked, what happened to Hawkmoth?" Adrien wondered, missing the adrenaline and the freedom he had while whacking things with his baton.

"You just want to see Pigtails again in person, and I'm as much in the dark as you, kid. I'd ask for some cheese, but I'm too sleepy." Plagg drawled, lazing on "his side of the bed". Adrien thought he doesn't technically need a side of the bed. Plagg sleeps on his stomach sometimes. But what the cat wants, the cat gets.

"Okay, okay. Goodnight, Plagg." Adrien finally rested on his mattress, snug in his duvet cocoon (It's cold, okay?), his thoughts restless as flashbacks of Marinette being badass and can definitely strangle him (not that he's opposed- bad thoughts!) played on repeat.

And goodnight to you again, my Lady.

After a few weeks (not counting akumas) of not seeing Marinette, Adrien has never been so sure of his love and devotion to his strong, smart, and stunning partner.

As he stepped out of the black sedan and into the front of the Tom and Sabine boulangerie, he has never been more elated since Marinette said yes, because the same girl is in front of him right now with her bookbag hoisted on her shoulder.

Marinette smiled beautifully ("As always."), her cheeks lightly blushed to a pale rose and tucked up to show her dimples. He couldn't help but smother her in the biggest and tightest hug in all time.

"Oh my fucking god, Marinette! It's you! I missed you so much-,"

They stayed like that for a few moments, and unknown to them, Marinette's parents were giggling behind the shop counter. (They look so cute, Tom. Don't interrupt them.)

"Adrien, I kind of need to breathe…" Marinette snickered, separating herself from him a bit to take some deep breaths. Adrien laughed, and immediately blushed as Marinette kissed him on each cheek.

He missed this. He missed her. And she missed him too.

"Let's walk to school, shall we?" Marinette smiled and hooked her right arm to his left, and Adrien huddled to her a bit closer than normal.
