The incline to prewar society has taken a turn. Most people have accepted that things have gotten better. They have! Look at the progress we made! Green grass flows from the valleys of Maryland to winding rivers of the Mississippi. Trees grow and towns bustle with life so seemingly pure. What the world does not know is what lies to the West. We are the keepers of the final front. The last hope to transform this wasteland into a memory.

President Ranan is worried. His people are never sure of him and he is never sure of his people. I never blamed him for what happened. The elections in California are harsh; There are those who love our culture and those that want to leave. Some do leave. They leave and never return. Our government tries to stop them. Not physically, yet, but with promises, propaganda and money. Ranan is being pushed to halt all immigration east but I don't think he wants to. I fear that there is a plot to assassinate him. If he is out of the picture who is to stop the Eastern Front from taking us over?
