"Stop it, Kacchan, leave him alone"

"Oh does useless Deku think he can play hero? Do I have to make you get out of the way?"

The blonde charged at the greenette, with his two friends charging behind him.

That day, I learned that all men are not created equal.

In this world, your value is counted by what you are born with.

After all, who wants anything to do with a quirkless nobody?

"Hey, leave him alone"

The shout rang out in the park, coming from a short brunette.

"What's your problem, idiot"

"You shouldn't hurt other people like that"

"Oh yeah, and what are you gonna do about it?"

"My parents are right there, y'know"

The blond quickly turned around, saw the adults, and ran away with his friends.

Buy maybe, just maybe,

"Hey, are you okay?"

Life can turn out alright.

2 Days later.

Inko was happy, she was really happy.

Her little boy had made a friend after all this time.

She had called the girls parents and set up a playdate as soon as she had heard. It was rare for Izuku to have a friend. He said he had Katsuki, but Inko knew something had changed. They didn't meet up outside of school anymore, so she had a feeling they had drifted apart. Plus, Katsuki was a year younger, so it was nice that Izuku had somebody his age to play with. Plus, this Ochaco girl was a sweetheart. If her son wasn't Izuku, she'd say that Ochaco was the nicest person she had ever met.

It was really nice to see her son having fun, she felt like she hadn't seen him smile this much since he was diagnosed quirkless a year ago. It was quite refreshing to see.

6 months later.

"Come on, Ocha, lets go play on the swings!" the greenette exclaimed.

"Wait up, Zuzu" the girl replied back.

They were playing in the park again, with Inko watching them. They had sort of developed a routine, if two hyperactive 5 year olds could make routines. Go to the park, go on the swings , down the slides, then into the sandpit. However, today, their routine was interrupted by something that caught Izuku's sight.

"Show us your trick, newbie!"

Izuku recognized that voice.

Bakugo.

Izuku had long since stopped calling the boy by his nickname, and they didn't talk past the humiliations at lunchtime at school.

"Hah, that's it? That's such a pathetic quirk, when I get mine I'm gonna be so great, have fun being a second rate sidekick to a nobody hero!"

The blond proceeded to turn around with his "friends" and stride out of the park. Luckily, the blonde didn't see Izuku. Izuku ran over to the boy that had been berated.

"Are you okay?" The greenette exclaimed, while extending his hand.

The boy took it without hesitation, bore the brightest smile Izuku had ever seen, and said

"Yep! Thanks for the help, I'm Togata".

"I'm Izuku!"

"And I'm Ochaco"

"Nice to meet you" the blonde said.

"Nice to meet you too" the friends said at the same time.

After a few seconds of awkward silence, Izuku exclaimed:

"Hey, wanna go on the swings with us?"

"Yeah, sure" the blonde replied.

The three happily spent the rest of the day playing on the swings and laughing happily.

So yeah, that was scuffed, not the best at writing little kids talking.

This is basically a fic where Izuku and Uraraka are one year older, and the big three are a year younger. Originally I wasn't gonna make Uraraka older, but I needed another girl in the group.

Three boys and one girl just isn't balanced enough.

But yeah, let me know what you think, I'm fine with constructive criticism.

'Till next time!
