Mist covered Paris like a layer of frosting on a cake. It was hard to see anything that was five feet in front of you due to the rain showers that appeared every half hour or so. Still, one could make out the silhouettes of two people. Those two people being the guardians of Paris, the renowned heroes Ladybug and Chat Noir.

"Hey Bugaboo!" Chat Noir exclaimed, bowing to his partner. There were no romantic feelings associated with the name anymore. He had realized that his superhero partner would never see him as anything more than a friend. So accepting defeat, he started to notice his shy peer who sat behind him in class. The more time he spent with Marinette, the more he fell for her. And soon enough, he'd asked her out. Today, was a special day. It commemorated one of the best days in his life. Today was when he first went to school, when he first met his best friends, when he first experienced freedom, when he first fell in love, and when he'd his first crush, who wasn't Ladybug, but his girlfriend, Marinette Dupain-cheng.

Ladybug didn't respond. Not because she was mean or something, but because immersed in her thoughts a little too much to notice her feline partner. Chat Noir tried again. "Hello Bugaboo! Bugaboo? M'lady? Ladybug? LB?" he waved his hand in front of her face. The spotted heroine snapped out of her trance.

"Oh hello, Chaton." she smiled, patting the space next to her for her superhero partner to sit. Chat Noir sat down, his face wearing the same expression Ladybug had worn only moments earlier.

"Hello, LB." he said, grinning. "You seem very happy."

Ladybug nodded, blushing. "Yes I am, Chat. Today's a very special day for me. I met my crush, my best friend, my partner, my kwami, two years ago. And my boyfriend asked me out, one year ago."

"Tell me how you met him." Chat said. A year ago. His heart would've cracked in half, listening to Ladybug ramble about her crush or her boyfriend. But now, he felt nothing but bliss. Bliss for himself, for finding someone he loved, and who loved him unconditionally. Bliss for Ladybug, whose crush had asked her out. And bliss for the both of them, who'd come this far from their first day when they'd got tangled in Ladybug's yoyo.

"I met him two years ago." the bluenette superheroine started. "He was new to school, and wasn't that good with interacting with people, given that he'd been so sheltered all his life. A girl in my class, she'd always held a grudge against me, going out of her way to make my life miserable in every possible way. As a result, she stuck a piece of bubblegum on my seat, hoping that I'd sit on it. Ad- I mean my boyfriend was only trying to take the piece off, but I lashed at him, thinking that he was rich and snobby like that girl. In my defense, I thought he'd stuck the piece on my seat. I was mad at him for the rest of the day, until the end of school. It was pouring--just like today--and I'd forgotten my umbrella. So he handed his umbrella to me, explaining what had really happened. At that moment, the umbrella closed on me, causing him to laugh. And that moment, I knew I was a goner." she chuckled. "A long time he thought that I was mad at him for the gum incident, but I just had a major crush on him. Soon enough, he'd realized my feelings for him, and his feelings for me and asked me out."

Chat Noir smiled at Ladybug's story and couldn't help but think how similar his story was to hers. He jolted with realization, dropping his umbrella in the process, causing his messy, blond hair to get drenched in the rain. He smirked, "This boyfriend of yours, he doesn't happen to be Adrien Agreste? Does he?"

The feline hero chortled in amusement as his partner started to stutter out incoherent squeeks. "Y-yes, how do you know?" she asked, before a look of mortification dawned on her face. "That means you know who I am! Oh my god, this is a disaster! Tikki's going to kill me!"

"I know purrincess, because I was the one who gave you the umbrella in the first place." He had a smirk on his face as he de-transformed to reveal the sixteen-year-old blond model.

Ladybug de-transformed too, to let out a screech and to faint into her boyfriend's arms. The last thing she heard was her kwami's 'Awwww,' and Adrien's kwami's 'I NEED MY CHEESE, ADRIEN!'
