The Spirit Bond

Long ago, I was born out of a test-tube, at first I had no idea on my purpose but I had a 'father'; My father taught me that life is nothing but a foe… an enemy that we must face if I wish to survive. Initially, I believed him but, when I encountered a foreign soul from Gaia… a wanderer that stumbled upon my home.

Despite my brainwashed brain telling me to kill this man… something stopped me from drawing my sword. I could hear him plea for his life and he apologises for his intrusion. While I feared the wrath of my dad, I couldn't resist to accept his plea.

Lifting the man from his limped state, I silently carried him back to the portal and warned him to never come back.

As I returned, some of my kin looked at me suspiciously, like I did a heinous crime. When my father asked why I was absent, I covered it as nothing but a wander. He didn't like it and forbade me from ever setting foot out from the fortress and continued my training. More coding words entered my mind, full of words; A swansong of "kill kill kill!"

Then, the time comes for when I finally met my twin brother. My father told me that we were born on the same bed but taken apart as part of mind conditioning and we'd finally be taught together and so we did. Rigorous training had us fighting against others and even against each other… the design was to solidify our weaknesses with the other's strength and form a powerful bonded duo who would be unleashed onto Gaia and spread havoc across the planet.
