It was silent in the cabin as the master meditated. The buzz of the force resonated as he contemplated the light and its form. Peace, tranquility, serenity, love and acceptance. Light was strong in the force. Each jedi a star in the force. Gone were the days of no hope. The jedi had risen from the days of order 66.

Thanks to the works of Grandmasters Luke Skywalker and Rey. With the defeat of the dark lord Darth Ren and his Empire a new republic was founded from the former empire. Negotiations demanded concessions of all parties but in the end peace was achieved. The republic was ruled by the senate and the Grand Chancellor who lead the seven Wardens who'd replaced the Jedi as the only protectors of the republic.

The Grand Chancellor is Robert Baratheon a Mandolorian warlord who lead the final rebellion. The First warden was that of the jedi, Grandmaster Eddard Stark. Second was Stannis Baratheon brother of the chancellor and grand-admiral of the Republic. Third is Lord Attorney Jon Arryn. Fourth is Mace Tyrell Marshal of the armies. Fifth is lord treasurer Tywin Lannister. Sixth is lord herald Hoster Tully. Seventh is Chairman Doran Martell of the order of Sunspear.

The Seven Wardens formed the powers of the Grand Chancellor. Each forming a vital strength of the Republic but seperated to minimize corruption. For twenty years since the rebellion the Republic has prospered but at an expense. The darkness was growing as well. Though the rule of two was still practiced by the sith. Many dark side wielders had risen to power under the empires regime. Peace in the galaxy demanded that these dark siders be recognized as citizens of the Republic and not be prosecuted for their allegiance. These dark siders like Tywin Lannister competed with the Jedi for the recruitment of force sensitives.

The Jedi order was made anew but different to supply the demand of Jedi. Knights were allowed families in the order and their children inducted. The dark side of the force was no longer a crime but special attention was given to ensure the prevalence of the light side in all Jedi. Those married to Jedi knights were called Jedi Mothers or Father. It was them whom with the supervision of masters who raised initiates with love and care building familial ties to all Jedi.

Today the Jedi were thriving. Years of patience had payed off with Jedi numbers nearing a thousand. The threat of rogue dark siders was minimized and that of the sith forever analyzed. However there was something else, something darker and even more vile than the dark side. It was no mere corruption it was the end. Death! The word that came to mind at the presence at the far reaches of the force. A cold death was what awaited those who sought out the knowledge of this phenomena in the force. The master ignored this warning and dove deeper in the force in search of this cold. Words hit him but no sense could be made of them."M $7€£, M $7€£, M $7€£!" a face came to him then. White and lifeless with bright and cold blue eyes. Fear and chaos flooded him as he looked into the depths. Laughter sounded as a cold breathlessness overtook him.

"Master!"

"Huh!

He was grasping at his throat when he awoke. The cold still held him but it was retreating. Careless he thought of himself. Contemplating the cold was dangerous and forbidden. The look on his pedawans face was only a fraction of the one that would mark the Jedi council at his disobedience.

"Torrhen! you, you are freezing. Why did you reach the cold? You know its forbidden."

"Im fine." Torrhen panted. "Don't worry. If you are in the ship I take it you found something?" He said trying to distract the boy by reminding him of his previous orders.

"No! I came back because I just got news from Kingslanding, my father has been arrested for treason. We can not let this stand. He would never betray the republic! We can't stay. We must go save him!"

Torrhen was lost for a moment. Ned Stark … traitor. The words just didn't fit. Torrhen would believe anyone of treason before he did Ned Stark even his father. The Grandmaster couldn't be a traitor he just couldn't. Never the less his mind told him, they still had a mission to complete. It wasn't his place to decide what had to happen at this news and neither was it the pedawans.

"No. We have orders to follow. Ned is my cousin but it isn't our place to judge the innocence of wardens of the republic. We will carry on with our mission then we shall hear from the council."

The pedawan was displeased but he understood the wisdom of my words perhaps he always knew and disobeyed his orders to lash out at the news. "My father is not a traitor." The Stark whispered with all hope of a prayer.

"I know he isn't, but he would want us to do the right thing which is, in this case following orders." The master said.

A stale silence filled the cabin only to be interrupted by the mechanical rumbling of the horse sized DW-7F droid as it spoke in the droid language.

"What is it boy!" He asked the Large wolf looking droid. "You found something? A beacon? How Far?" The droid had tracked a beacon that had recently activated. The smallest moon in the Trident system was a grey wasteland with a breathable atmosphere and little to no life. Whispering it was called for the light whistling in the wind.

The two Jedi wasted little time before setting off for the coordinates marked by the droid. Intel from the Jedi grandmaster Tyrion had found the possible destination of a rogue darksider hiding on the satelite. They'd been instructed to lay low and investigate any communications signals. What was odd about the intel was that the time to search had been instructed and by the time reading on the clock it was exactly the time instructed. They'd been searching the whole planet since early morning, an unnecessary effort it would seem.

The two Jedi arrived at the meeting point. A rolling mass of rocky dunes surrounded the two. A hill flatter and larger than the rest was where two other fighter ships landed one was red and gold the other striped black and white. The two men who exited the ships were out of their view as the jedi landed their own ship.

Before they walked into the field Torrhen put his hand on the pedawan. The force was strong with the two outside and at least one of them was using the darkside. "You must be ready now Robb. This may be your first fight be ready and do not hesitate. Let the force guide you and follow my lead. If these darksiders are allies you will retreat to the ship while I distract them." He commanded the pedawan with as much authority he could muster.

"Torrhen I will not leave you here!"

"You will! Riverrun is near, from there you will organise an extraction. If Ned is arrested the family will need you more than me. Remember what we fight for." At this point he wasn't sure what to expect from the engagement but seeing his cousin accept and respect him for it made the master walk down the ramp with a spring in his step.

The wind whistled across and between the hills as the two Jedi moved to join the two strangers who'd waited for the Jedi knights to join. "Haha! Look at this Hoat two Jedi you should have run when you had the chance." The first to speak was a handsome Republic soldier with blonde hair and green eyes. The man was dressed in silver/white heavy armour of the highest quality while the other was in dark robes and light armour. His features could not be seen beyond his hate fill glowing eyes.

"The Sthith do not run. When you challenged me to a duel I did not think you would plan an ambusth. However killing Jedi would be my pleasthure."

"I sent for my brother but only for transport out of here. Getting to this retched place finished my fuel the honour of taking your head is mine only." He said making sure to stare at the Jedi only for him to smile at the pedawan besides the Jedi. "Ahh! Young Stark. Good to see you. How is your Father still as uninteresting as a block of ice."

"My fathe-"

"Hush now lad we have a battle ahead of us. Still your emotions now Robb." Torrhen commanded.

"Alright then. Enough chit chat, all the same to me. With you two here, I won't have have to think so hard about how I killed the first Sith to show his face since I killed the mad king."

"Sthabbed him in the back you mean. Lannishter." Spoke the sith as he ignited his red light pike.

"Would you had rather I stabbed him in the balls like I'm about to do to you? Know what, don't answer that. I can't stand to listen to you fail at speaking anymore." Sir Jaime bit back igniting his dual lightsabers, one red as a Sith's and the other blue as a Jedi's. A mockery of the two ancient factions if ever there was one.

The two warriors only faced each other for a moment bedore they charged. The sith was like a shadow cool and chilling. While the knight was like the sun, bright and shining. The two met with powerful strikes before disengaging and starting their duel.

The Sith was fast on his feet. Using his footwork and the meter and a half handle and meter long edge, he kept the knight at a distance. His strikes were fast, straight and accurate. The slashes were only threatened, giving him space and time to defend when needed.

Sir Jaime wasn't afraid however. Infact he seemed to relish this challenge. His two blades moved as one, replicating the fighting style of one blade with two. He deflected the stabs at him easily and never flinched at any feints. Where the sith was light footed and quick to move the knight was grounded and took care of his steps, moving forward and never retreating.

The two didn't fear. No, they danced. Sabers and pike. The two matched each other as one pushed while the other pulled. Sir Jaime broke the deadlock as he used his blade to slide his underneath the opposite before letting the blade pass under his arm and counter strike from the top on the opponents hand. Needing to retreat immediately the Sith let go with one hand on the handle. Giving Jaime the opportunity to push against the handle, opening the Sith for a kick to the chest sending him flying.

Jaime rushed to capitalise on the opening. The Sith had dropped his pike and was now defenceless. With defeat lurking he pulled in the dark side to throw force pushes against the knight who responded by slashing throught the moving force walls. Just as the fight was to end the Sith focused all his rage and evil into one final push which at short range did what the other could not and sent the knight catapaulting across the terrain.

Immediately the Sith aimed his hand at the direction of his pike to pull it to him. He was too late as Torrhen had pulled long time ago and had it in his hand. The Sith feeling no pull at the direction looked up at the Jedi with hate filled eyes.

The Sith returned his eyes to the knight who was taking his time to dust himself off. "It seems you are in need of a weapon, goat. Lucky for you I have a spare. Here." The knight mocked before throwing the red light saber at the Sith.

"Sthat will be your lasth misthake Lannisther!"

"Yeah, yeah. What did I tell you about moving your gums? Now shut up and fight before I end you were you stand." Sir Jaime mocked again the already frenzied Sith with murder in his eyes, pulling out another lightsaber this one green.

With a sbout of rage the Sith attacked. One hand on the handle the other he used to force push. One push Sir Jaime shouldered before the Sith was upon him with an overhead strike. Two blades lifted to intercept. Only one made it to the blow. The right was feinted and thrust through the Siths groin as promised.

A foul scream of pain left the defeated villains mouth as he fell like a sack of rocks and blood began to pool around him. Sir Jaime walked around him to pick up his saber. The knight kicked at the fallen Sith with a laugh at his fate.

"I told him, didn't I? The bastard should have run instead of face me, or atleast keep quiet like I asked. Well all is well, that ends well. Am I right? The Sith threat won't be bothering the republic yet." Sir Jaime gloated, making his way to the Jedi waiting for him.

"Now I take it we should be leaving this moon for more civilized waters. We can recount the battle together while we do. I wouldn't want you forgetting any of the moves I showed you today. You Jedi could learn a thing or two from it."

Torrhen Karstark wasn't happy and the Kingslayers arrogance was making him worse. "I have no obligation to take you anywhere Kingslayer. Leaving you on this rock would be my pleasure. Grandmaster Tyrion oversteps his authority expecting anything less of me."

"Quite the bark on you, ey? Whatever you say, you wouldn't want to abandon the Grand Chancellors good brother and sworn knight to the elements would you?"

"Tch, of course. Let's get to it then the faster I get you off my ship, the faster I can stop sharing air with an honourless cur like you."
