As the screen fades into a remote island, Chris begins his opening monologue.
"Welcome one and all to an all new season of Total Drama. After the old camp sank to the bottom of the ocean, and moving to Pahkitew Island ended up being not so cool, we have a brand new location. This island is only a 10 minute boat ride from the piers of Santa Monica, California. 14 brand new contestants will be competing against each other for one million dollars on this island".
The island was big with beautiful sandy beaches, lots of trees, and a huge log cabin; as big as a hotel.
Chris then continued on with, "I am so excited to meet the players, and believe it or not, they have already arrived."
The players were unpacking their things in the log cabin.
"This is going to be so fun," one of them said.
"I bet we'll leave with a lot of new friends," another one said.
Cuts back to Chris.
"They will be making friends alright," he said. "Get ready people. This is Total Drama Rebooted!"
After the opening credits, Chris then said this to the viewers.
"The 14 players who are about to start their first challenge have only just met, but if they work together as 2 teams of 7, so one of them could take home 1 million dollars. It's vital that they trust each other to play as friends and play right, while ensuring that they vote off whoever's not up to the task".
Of course, you've seen this show before. Anything can happen.
Chris then added, "there's only one winner as challenge by challenge, someone gets sent home. These players are in 2 teams of 7. First team is the Marine Manatees. The other is the California Crocodiles. Let's meet the Manatees!".
The manatees introduced themselves first.
Member one said, "my name is Katana Aikawa. I'm originally from Japan, and my family named me after Katana from the DC comics. Stay on my empathetic side, or you'll wish you never met this rebel who came to play".
Member numbers 2 and 3 are named Kathy and Maya.
"I'm Kathy," she said. "I met Maya in Kindergarten and we haven't spent a day apart ever since".
Maya then said, "we're now freshmen at Florida State University who are in love with each other. We saw Total Drama Seasons 1 and 4".
Kathy then said, "Bridgette's our favorite Season 1 player while Anne Maria is our favorite Season 4 star."
"Love you girls!" they said together.
The 2 of them started kissing and making out.
Member number 4 is named Samantha.
She said, "I'm Samantha. My family has traveled to many places before settling in our North Carolina home. If I win the million dollars, I'm taking my family back to Ireland where I was born".
Members 5 and 6 are Ashton and Adam".
Ashton said to the viewers, "my name's Ashton. I'm here with Adam".
Adam then said, "even though we're best friends, everyone mistakes us for brothers because of how close we are".
The 2 boys then shared a giggle.
Member 7 was Jimmy.
"Hi," he said. "My name's Jimmy, and at only 14 years old, I'm the youngest of the players here. That doesn't mean, I can't be of any help to the team, though".
Chris then said, "now let's meet team crocodiles".
We then switch to the California Crocodiles.
Member number 1 was named Gabriella.
She said to the viewers, "my name's Gabriella. So far, I'm the only Latina in this season. If I win the million dollars, I'm giving it to The National Hispanic Institute, which is like a combined foster home and high school for Latin students".
Members 2 and 3 were Jack and James.
Jack said, "I'm Jack. This is my boyfriend James."
James then said, "I've known Jack since the 2nd grade, but it wasn't until the 8th when I found out I was in love with him".
James then Gave Jack a kiss.
Member 4 was Charlie Green.
He said, "hi. I'm Charlie Green, and my family's made up of natives from Malaysia. I became a transgender over 2 years ago, and if I win the money, it's going to the National Center for Transgender Equality".
Members 5 and 6 were George and Georgina.
George said to the viewers, "my name is George and I'm here with my sister, Georgina. Just because we're goth siblings, doesn't mean we don't enjoy shows like this".
Georgina then said, "we went goth at 10 years of age after being bullied once too often, and after our dad died."
George then said, "that's why we love Gwen and the goths from the Ridonculous Race".
The last member was Nathaniel.
He said to the viewers, "my name's Nathaniel and I'm a big fan of Total Drama. Seasons 2 and 4 were my favorite seasons, and I'm ready to play".
They then went to the starting line for their first challenge. What happens after is up to you.
