Zhongli and Childe participating in No Nut November but each of them is purposely making it very difficult for the other to succeed.

A Contest Worth Winning

The air was beginning to feel colder each day now and as the sun began to set the chill only became more apparent. Fall had settled in a few weeks ago and now it was almost November, which reminded Childe, maybe Xiansheng would be willing to participate. Something he had heard of but had never tried himself was a little game called No Nut November. He would have to see if he could convince him, surely with the right motivation he would play along as well. Childe wanted to make this a contest though, he had ideas, none too pure mind you, on how to make this game more interesting. Of course, he would not tell Xiansheng this though he thought as he neared Liuli Pavilion to meet Zhongli for their evening tradition of a quiet dinner and tea. November was just around the corner after all.

Licai greeted him as always just outside the entrance, "Good evening Sir" she smiled cheerfully. He gave a polite smile back as she opened the door for him. "Good evening Childe, Zhongli is already waiting for you." "Early as always, thank you Francis." He said as he headed toward their usual table in the private room. Zhongli greeted him with a graceful smile as he took his usual seat, "I already ordered for us if you don't mind Childe", said Zhongli looking pleased. "Well, you do know what I like so I trust your judgement" he said while taking his gloves off absentmindedly. "Xiansheng, would you be interested in playing a game with me?" Childe questioned trying not to sound too eager. "And what kind of game would that be?" Childe paused answering that question as tea was brought to their table, once the waitress had left, he gave a small smile "Have you ever heard of something called No Nut November?" Zhongli brought his hand to his chin looking at his steaming cup of tea, "I don't believe I have; how does one play this game?" Childe's smile widened "Oh, its very easy Xiansheng, you just have to try to not cum for the whole month of November." Zhongli's brows furrowed, "How is that a game Childe?" Is he going to agree? "We make it a contest!" Childe was getting excited now, hearing how Zhongli seemed interested in this game now. "So, if either of us win, what do we get?" Childe had not thought he'd get this far so he hadn't thought of prizes for winning. If all went as planned neither would last the full month anyways. "Um, well, what would you like to win Xiansheng?" Zhongli's eyes narrowed at that, what would he like to win? Childe bought him nearly everything he wanted anyways. Childe could tell this had stumped him, "Xiansheng, it doesn't have to be a material good, if could be anything you want. Could be a favor, a request…" Childe trailed off as Zhongli met his eyes. "I have a request if I win." Childe perked up at this, "And what is the request?" Zhongli's smile was almost….evil? "I'll let you know if I win." He purred. A side of Zhongli Childe didn't get to see much outside of the bedroom, he loved it. Zhongli's smile turned soft again "And what do you want dear Childe, if you win that is?" He sounded all too confident now, Childe hadn't had time to think about what he would want and with Zhongli acting as he just did, he couldn't exactly think straight. "We have a few days still; I didn't think you'd agree to this honestly." Zhongli chuckled but said nothing his smile reaching his eyes as he drank his tea.

Dinner had progressed as usual after that and with warm full stomachs they both made their way to Zhongli's home. "We don't have to start now do we?" Zhongli surprised Childe with the question as they reached the door. "Its not November yet Xiansheng." "Ah, well, isn't that fortunate." Zhongli said in a low voice, eyes almost glowing in the darkness. Childe was ready for what that look meant, "Well we should get out of the cold then." He said, stepping ahead of Zhongli into the house, with a barely audible growl Zhongli followed through the doorway and closed the door to the cold night air.

Before they knew it, November 1st had rolled around, and Childe made his way once again to Liuli Pavilion for dinner with Zhongli. Now that it was time to start the challenge, Childe was less confident in the tricks he had thought of. Zhongli had more, uh, experience and had proved that during the last few days. This wouldn't stop him of course but he was a bit scared that Zhongli could indeed hold out longer, especially if he had any tricks up his sleeves as well. He entered the building as he normally would, being informed Zhongli was once again already there. Childe headed to the private room and was taken aback as he entered. Zhongli was sitting in his usual seat, his coat, vest, and tie removed, the top buttons of his shirt undone revealing his chest and instead of tea there was wine on the table. Childe was sweating, its only the first day! How am I going to survive this man? He frantically thought careful not to show any emotion on his face. Childe took his seat, two can play this game Xiansheng, Childe removed his jacket placing on the back of his chair and lifted a half full glass of wine to his lips "What's the occasion Xiansheng?" Childe noticed the bottle was also at the table and half of the liquid was missing, he raised his eyebrows at Zhongli, "Started without me?" Zhongli looked at him coolly, "it wasn't a new bottle when it came to the table." Childe gave a small huff of amusement at his tone, he sounded slightly offended, it was cute. Childe almost jumped as the waitress entered with their orders breaking the tension and Zhongli returned to his carefree polite self. After the waitress left silence fell as they both began to eat, Childe kept glancing up to Zhongli unsure if he would try something when his guard was down, but he never looked up from his food. "Worried Ajax?" Zhongli's voice was low, low enough he almost didn't hear him. The sound of his real name on those lips could have broke him any other time. "Not at all Xiansheng, just hoping they made your food to your liking." He smiled but it clearly didn't hide his tenson and Zhongli noticed with a breathy laugh. Childe felt his cheeks get warm but covered it by bringing the wine glass to his lips again. Dinner continued and Childe distracted himself and Zhongli by asking him about winter in Liyue, getting way too much information but he never tired of Zhongli's smooth voice. After they had finished their food, they continued to enjoy what was left of the wine bottle. Childe could drink though it wasn't very common for him, it was more of a comradery thing with the other Fatui under him on missions when they could manage. On the other hand, he had never seen Zhongli drink more than a single glass of wine with dinner among friends and he was currently on his third glass. As composed as Zhongli looked, he started to repeat small things as he spoke, adding "umm" and "hmm" as he spoke as if he forgot what he meant to say. "Xiansheng, isn't it about time we headed home? It is getting late." Zhongli narrowed his eyes at him and unabashedly stared at Childe's exposed chest. Without taking his eyes off Childe he downed what was left in his glass and got up, "Yes, lets make our way home Ajax." They dressed to leave, Zhongli leaving his tie off which he handed to Childe "Take this for me please." He sounded tired and lightly pressed his shoulder against Childe's as he spoke. I really hope he doesn't pass out on the walk home, thought Childe leaving mora on the table and guiding Zhongli to the door. As they walked home Zhongli threw his arm around Childe's shoulders slowly leaning on him more and more. "This isn't a very fun game Ajax." Zhongli whispered very close to Childe's ear, sending shivers even the cold night air couldn't conjure in him. "Oh? And what's not fun about it Xiansheng?" Childe let out a chuckle, he thought he was enjoying it. "I think you're going to win this contest." He sounded so disappointed Childe almost felt pity, almost. "So, what you're saying is you're a sore loser." Childe couldn't help but laugh now until a low growl cut him off, "If you aren't careful Ajax, I'll make you a sore winner." Zhongli's hot breath licked at Childe's throat, reminding him how close Zhongli was to his weakness. Zhongli suddenly relieved Childe of his weight and stepped ahead to unlock the door, fumbling slightly to do so reminding Childe he had drank a little too much. Once in the door Zhongli headed straight for the bedroom without a word, Childe followed curious what he was up to. Zhongli began to strip off his clothing haphazardly until he was only in his underwear and flopped face first into the bed. Did he just anticipate passing out? Childe was thoroughly amused, he undressed as well, feeling the slight buzz from the alcohol call up drowsiness. He laid down in bed next to his better half who was already asleep and breathed a deep sigh releasing his tension. He smiled softly, glad he had lasted through the first day and drifted to sleep.

Zhongli's groan woke Childe, the man was curled against his chest shielding his face from the shafts of morning light that made their way through the curtains. He instinctively hugged tight the man encroaching on his space and felt him melt in his embrace. Childe kissed the top of his head, "How do you feel Xiansheng?" Zhongli groaned again, weaker this time, "I feel like I drank with that archon forsaken Barbatos again." Childe chuckled softly, neither had work today so Childe offered to make breakfast, to that Zhongli nodded into Childe's chest but didn't let him go. "Stay for a bit longer." Childe complied until Zhongli had fallen asleep, slowly pulling out of his grasp Childe went to make him a breakfast that would be safe for his potentially upset stomach. As tempting as it was to tease his other half right now, he was not feeling well and Childe didn't want to push him, it would only make him feel bad. After gently waking his Xiansheng and having breakfast in bed with him the two decided to stay home for the day instead of wandering around town as they normally did. The day went by uneventfully with both opting to lay around the house and just relax in each other's company. Childe had been tempted a few times to mess with the man next to him but thought better of it with how peaceful he looked reading his book. "I am feeling better Ajax, if you want, we could go out for dinner again." Zhongli did look much better than this morning, when he was a little pale and flush to the touch. "I can just pick us up something from Wanmin if you still aren't up for it." He failed at leaving the concern out of his voice and the other man's eyes softened hearing it. "That does sound good, you've taken great care of me today, thank you." His kindness made Childe heart nearly burst, "Alright then, I'll be right back." With that he got up to get dressed and leave the house.

Walking to Wanmin Restaurant was a short walk and Xangling knew exactly what to get for them, all in all the trip was short but as he neared the house, he noticed the lights inside had been turned off. His heartbeat sped up; did something happen while I was gone? Anxiety rose as he entered the home, a soft glow could be seen down the hall toward the bedroom, but Childe was on high alert now. As he creped down the hall, he heard water running from the bathrooms he set the food down on the nightstand, took off his jacket and boots, and waited for the other to join him. Zhongli stepped out of the bathroom and Childe nearly choked on the air. Zhongli had a towel around his waist, but it was much too small and left nothing to the imagination, "Sorry, I forgot to grab a proper towel before I got in and I had no idea you'd be back so soon." His smile said otherwise, Zhongli nearly had a sixth sense for Childe's presence, and this flustered him even more. Did he plan this?! The light in the ex-archon's eyes danced with amusement at the sight of the harbinger's attempt to hide his blush. "Are you alright Ajax?" keeping his voice even as he stepped behind the silk screen dropping his towel to the floor. He was not ok, and he knew the other man was well aware of this. Even though it had only been two days now of this so-called contest he stupidly proposed the days leading up to this left his feeling empty and needy. He couldn't lose after making the contest up in the first place, but he knew he was also at a disadvantage to the other man who had literal thousands of years of practice over him. Even if he could get Zhongli aroused enough, he'd hold out much longer and he wasn't a stranger to his resolve. Zhongli walked out from behind the screen to join Childe on the bed wearing a silk robe that only came half down his thighs, this wasn't looking good for Childe. I'm going to pass out! Well maybe that's not such a bad idea. Childe distracted himself by reaching for the food, "I don't know what Xingling made for us, but she said we would love it. Only one dish so I guess we will be sharing Xiansheng."

As he turned suddenly Zhongli was there, too close for how hard Childe was trying to hold himself together. Close enough to smell the Qingxin flower soap Zhongli used in his hair, he was looking at Childe innocently making Childe let out a nervous chuckle. "Are you that hungry? There is…" He forgot what he was about to say as he felt a hand press gently to his chest. "Oh, yes, I am quite hungry." Zhongli did look hungry, but not for food. Looking down he realized he wasn't alone in his arousal. Childe's pants got painfully tight as he realized how close the other man's erection was to slipping out of the small silk hem that currently covered it. "Xiansheng…. this isn't fair." It came out as more of whine than Childe had intended but he couldn't help it now. Without looking he set the food back down on the nightstand and let the other man's hand trail down the front of his chest to the buttons on his shirt. "Who said anything about fair Ajax? I do not know why I agreed to this contest, this isn't easy for me." Wait, this isn't an act, he's genuinely trying not to lose, or is his plan backfiring? Childe's mind was reeling, "I thought you were taunting me…" Zhongli's eyes drifted down to the growing bulge in Childe's pants, "Originally yes" a breathy laugh escaped, "it's not going as planned." Childe's eyes lit up at the sound of his voice slightly husky with lust, this he could work with. Placing a hand on his lover's cheek he kissed him lightly feeling Zhongli's lip's part with little effort, he smiled into the kiss before being surprised by the sudden pressure of Zhongli's hand on his erection through his pants. Childe was about to pull from the kiss but Zhongli bit gently on his lower lip to keep him there while his hands worked to remove the pants keeping him from wrapping his hand around Childe's shaft. As Zhongli shifted so did his robe letting his erection slip out and Childe was quick to softly grab the shaft earning a gasp from the other man against his mouth, if he was failing this contest, so was Zhongli. Without warning Zhongli released his lips, ducking his head under his jaw to attack his neck, and using his weight to force Childe onto his back. With Zhongli nearly fully on top of him Childe was forced to release the other man's shaft forcing an involuntary sound of disappointment to escape him. Realizing what a disadvantage he was at now he glared at the gorgeous man who shifted to straddle him working Childe with one hand and himself with his other once in position. Zhongli let go himself to reach his hand behind his back and down for his hole, "I prepared myself while you were out Ajax." His eyes more gold than he ever remembered seeing. He was so stunned by this shameless display, it only made him want more. "Are you sure? This is a contest after all." The sudden clarity in Zhongli's eyes and the seriousness of his face made him freeze. "I don't intend to outlast the night my dear Ajax, but I do intend to outlast you." The end came out as a low growl that Childe felt deep in his core giving him goose bumps. Zhongli shifted to line Childe up with his entrance and sat down just enough to let just the head slip in. Childe tilted his head back letting out the breath he didn't know he was holding. The other man leaned forward, his mouth finding a sensitive rosy bud on Childe's chest making him gasp in surprise, a low rumbling laugh reverberated through his body. At this rate Zhongli wouldn't have to take all of him for him to release his load. As if Zhongli could read fucking minds he began to lower down on the throbbing erection with practiced ease. Childe, wanting to have some horse in this race, reached for his lover's neglected shaft after licking his hand for ease of movement. He felt Zhongli slow before the last inch and with an evil smile Childe thrust up that last inch burying himself in and being rewarded with a lewd moan from the man above him. Golden eyes clouded with lust glared at him causing nervousness to bubble up in his gut, afraid this god among men would make him lose more than once tonight now for what he just did, Childe couldn't stop grinning though. Those beautiful eyes glided down his front settling on watching Childe's hand work his shaft, precum leaking, starting a fire within him causing him to take to the pace Childe had started. Zhongli braced his hands on Childe's shoulders letting his weight settle as he focused on keeping pace. Childe could feel him twitch against his hand as he hit a sweet spot in the man above him, angling his hips to continue hitting it making Zhongli's breath uneven and Childe's hand wet with his lover's juices. Childe was close now, slightly bucking his hips up to lengthen the strokes causing both to moan. He could tell the other man was close too but how close? He brought his free hand to the others hip with bruising force making Zhongli stop with Childe buried as deep as possible bringing a shutter out of him. Zhongli nearly collapsed onto Childe, bringing his neck close enough for Childe to attack and leave marks on. He couldn't hold out when Zhongli moaned directly in his ear, Childe released Zhongli's hip letting his move through Childe's shuttering climax he tried to hold back. The feeling of being filled caused Zhongli to release onto Childe's stomach and hand. Zhongli released his whole weight on top of Childe feeling bliss and realizing he won the contest, as expected. Childe embraced Zhongli with his clean hand feeling both happy and slightly annoyed for losing.

Childe had shimmied out from under Zhongli to run a bath for the both of them, he hadn't asked what Zhongli had wanted for winning but they could worry about that later. After cleaning up and changing the sheets he laid curled against the winner's chest realizing neither had lasted more than two days into November. "Xiansheng, what did you want for winning the contest?" he asked sheepishly. The other man sighed with a small chuckle and hugged him closer against his chest. "To be honest, I have all I want right here my dear Ajax."
