Ann: You know how we're got a new transfer today?
Shiho: I've heard that he doesn't talk much and that he's kinda hot.
Ann: Your right on both fronts…
His name is Akira Kurusu.
And the reason I know that is because he's in my class.
Shiho: Ooooh, is he as hot as I heard he is?
Ann: Thirsty much...? but yes, yes his.
And the worst part is, is that he sits right behind me.
Shiho: lucky you…
Ann: Yeah… lucky me…
Ann: OH. MY GOD.
Shiho: What's happened?

I got asked a question during one of my classes today…
Shiho: And…?
Ann: And well… I didn't know the answer…
And then… I heard Akira whisper me the answer.
Shiho: Is that all, I thought something drastic had happened 😒
Ann: You don't get it Shiho.
I HEARD HIM TALK!
HE HAS SUCH A SMOOTH VOICE!

…and worst of all was afterwards.
Shiho: Do tell, Ann.
Ann: I wanted to thank him for helping
And when I did, he smirked and said "No worries."
… I must have blushed big time as he chuckled before he left.
Shiho: Ann Takamaki… are you falling for the new student?
Ann: No, I'm not…
It's just his voice makes me feel…
Shiho: Like you want to jump him? 😉

We've talked a little after last time though.
He's actually a down to earth person.

The problem was that he knows how to speak English better than me.
Shiho: You say that's the problem, but I don't see it.
Ann is typing…
Shiho: Wait! 😳 You mean he's good with his tongue?
Ann: No! no no no no! Nothing like that.
Jeez, Shiho. You're nearly as bad as Ryuji.
When we got English, there was a bit that he read aloud…
But instead, he tells me how beautiful I am.
Shiho: He didn't know that know a little of English did he?
Ann: I know enough to get by when it's needed, thank you.
But no, he didn't.
But given that I must have gone bright red and that he went wide-eyed.

Shiho: So, what happened afterwards?

We studied for a few minutes afterwards, but I was so embarrassed that I lied and told that him that I had to leave.

Shiho: Soooo, how's everything going with Mr Smooth voice?
Ann: Going surprising well, given the other day.
Shiho: Anything new?
Ann: He caught me dozing off after class.
Shiho: That must have been embarrassing.
Ann: It was…
But considering that I had a modelling gig that lasted kinda late, I know I was going to at some point.
Shiho: So that's why you looked worn out during lunch.
Ann: Yeah, it's not the first time it happened and it won't be the last.
But yeah, he said I have a cute sleeping face and then asked if I wanted to grab a cup of coffee.
Shiho: I do love the idea of an after-school date.
Ann:
He took me to a nice little diner on Central Street in Shibuya.
Shiho: Oh, I know that one, Yuuki took me there once.
Ann: It's very nice, isn't it?
Shiho: Very. The staff there are very friendly as well.
Ann: Akira's very chivalrous by the way, I offered to pay for what I order but he insisted that he pay for it all.
Shiho: Wow, he must be well off then.
Ann: He works multiple jobs apparently.
Shiho: Really!? How the hell does he do that and still hang out with Ryuji?
Ann: I don't know… he must be a time management savant.
Shiho: He must be… so what did you two talk about then?
Ann: Oh, he wanted to know more about me and what would have me nearly falling asleep in class.
Shiho: So, he now knows you're a part-time model then.
Ann: Yep…
Shiho: What's the matter?
Ann: Er…
He wants to come with me the next time I've got a shoot.
Shiho:
You think he wants to get scouted?
Ann is typing…
Shiho: 'Cause he is definitely hot enough to be a model.
Ann: He could be a model if he wanted to.
But no, he's curious about my line of work and wants to see if it's as hype as the news makes out it to be.
Shiho: And what do you say?
Ann: What do you think? I couldn't help but say yes.
Shiho: (Whop-eesh!)
Ann: Shut it, you! I'm not whipped!

Shiho: WHAT!?
Ann: I don't know what to do anymore!
Shiho: Explain.
Ann: Me and Akira went to Inokashira park today as I wanted someone to help me train.
Shiho: Train?
Ann: I've been thinking that If I have a strong heart, then I could brush aside all the negative comments at school.
Shiho: I can see your point…
But more importantly, why didn't you ask me?
Ann: I would have, but I wouldn't have been able to take it seriously.
That's why I asked him.
Shiho: I don't know if I should upset or happy.
Ann: That's up to you.
Shiho: So, what happened then?
Ann: It was going well for the most part, till I asked him to say some stuff to me and I'd tried not to get fazed by it.
Shiho: Then what happened?
Ann: Well… er… after a couple of goes…
He stood up and looked me dead in the eyes and told me that he loved me.
Shiho: Oh.
Wait!? What!?
He said that?
Ann: I didn't know what to do, so I told him that that was cheating and disqualified.
Shiho: Ann.
Ann.
Ann.
Ann.
Ann: What?
Shiho: That is the second chance you've had… He won't wait forever.
Ann: …
I know that…
It's just that whenever we talk or we hang out, my heart just beats like crazy.
To the point where if I did tell him that I loved him, I think I would die.
Shiho: 💖💖💖
I really do love hearing you gush over someone.
Ann: You're no help.
I'm going for a shower.
Shiho: No, don't go, stay and play!
Ann: I want to marry him!
Shiho: Marriage already?
Wow, Ann, talk about jumping the gun, you two aren't even an item yet.
Ann: You remember me talking about Mika before right?
Shiho: Her? You haven't brought her up since before Akira showed up.
What has she done now?
Ann: It's more like what she tried to do.
The last four shots I've had, she's been there as well.
And like normal, she's been making me look like the bad guy.
Shiho: So, nothing new then.
Ann: Yeah.
Shiho: But you wouldn't bring her up if the same thing happened.
Ann: You're correct.
For those last four shoots, Akira has been with me and stood up for me when Mika started to lie.
Shiho: Like a knight in shining armour.
Ann: Yes, but sadly no white horse.
And what's more, when Mika asked who he was, he looked at me in a way that told me to go along with it before telling her that he was my boyfriend.
Shiho: Ooohh, I bet Mika didn't like that.
Ann: No, she didn't and on top of that, the photographer and director came over to us after they heard Mika, Akira defended me again.
The best part is, is that they sided with Akira this time, which pissed Mika off so much that she left.
I just can't believe she tried it at the next three gigs as well.
Shiho: I would have thought that after getting caught, she wouldn't try it again.
What did the director say afterwards?
Ann: He apologised before realising that Mika must be the one behind why a lot of models show up late/not showing up at all.
Shiho: She's the one behind that? That's low… even for my standards.
Ann: I know, I'm just glad that I never missed one.
I keep overhearing the staff talking about her…
Shiho: But you feel sorry for her, don't you?
Ann: …That easy, huh?
Shiho: 😁
Ann: I know I shouldn't, but I don't know if she has any problems at home or whatnot…
So, hearing people trash-talking her when she can't defend herself pisses me off.
Shiho: And yet you wanted to train so you could have a strong heart.
Ann: Huh?
Shiho: The fact that Mika was and has been trying to sabotage everyone, including you, you can't help but worry about her.
Ann: Well…
After what I went through before meeting you, I don't want to see other people go through the same thing.
Shiho: So, what's the plan then?
Ann: I plan on inviting her to the shoot and talk to her.
Shiho: What will you do if she doesn't show?
Ann: I think she'll show.
Shiho: I hope that everything goes well then.
Ann: Oh, I almost forgot.
Akira got asked to take over Mika's spot, so you might see the two of us in a magazine soon.
Shiho: Really? But Akira isn't a model.
Ann: I know, but the director seemed to like the look of him, so he asked him.
Ann: Me and Akira have just got done talking to talking to Mika.
Shiho: You sure you two aren't going out? It seems like you two are joined at the hip.
Ann: Shhh.
You want me to tell you or not?
Shiho: Fine, tell me what happened?
Ann: 😊
When she showed up at the shoot, she was almost got turned away.
But I was able to convince them to let her stay and participate.
Then we had a lengthy talk about we she did what she did.
Shiho: And what did say?
Ann: She was sick and tired of seeing models like me who didn't take modelling seriously.
Shiho: That's a shitty way to go about weeding out those people.
Ann: I agree and after her time away, she agreed as well.
It turns out the director wasn't that far away and heard everything and even decided to give Mika another chance.
Shiho: Wow.
I wasn't expecting that to happen.
And it's all thanks to your big heart.
Ann: 😁
I don't think I would have done any of it if Akira wasn't there.
Shiho: Aww, how sweet.
But speaking of, when are you two getting to together?
Ann: Well, about that.
After the shoot, we went to a bar he works at call Crossroads.
Shiho: Wait!? He works at a bar? Isn't that illegal?
Ann: Yes, but he's told me that the Mama of the bar won't let him serve any alcohol.
Anyway, we spent about 10 or so minutes together before I asked him there was anything between us.
I watched him reach over and gently take my hand before saying 'I hope there is.'
Shiho: What did you say?
Ann: I fell up against him and before telling him that there was.
Then he placed a kiss on my head and brought me into a side hug.
Shiho: Finally, now we can go on double dates.
Ann: We finally can. 😊

I've been wanting to write something like this for some time and I'm glad that it came out how I wanted it to. I did add some of the Lovers Confident into this and if I had the time, I would have gone through the whole of the Confidant.
