Hello there, so some canon divergence happens in the whole story and I'll only write parts that do change or add some parts important to Ream's interactions with the canon cast.
Anyways, enjoy!

Episode 53
—
A giant spaceship was floating above the landscape of Ancient Rome, camouflaged from the eyes of a human being.
One of the pirates returned on the ship while staying still in the pod he drove there. This, of course, made his crewmates curious about how his mission went.
In a room where a night sky was projected on the walls, Gavro was just hanging around. "Huh... Foolscap came back, but he isn't showing his face. That means he failed to get the Yellow Cosmo Stone and I'm still the best," he chuckled, bumping his fists together.
"Actually, you're a big failure," an ominous female voice said, "you didn't get the stone either."
Gavro looked around the room, but couldn't see anyone on right or left. Then it hit him, literally—a pair of wedge-heeled black boots stomping on top of his head. He glanced up, seeing a pale black-haired woman smirking at him.
"Sheer, I hate it when you do that, particularly after you've cleaned the dinosaur cages," the buff man groaned, "oh, I'm getting dizzy."
The woman flipped her hair. "I'm just trying to get it through your thick head, Gavro, that I'm better than you are. Now say, 'Sheer's the best. Sheer's the fiercest and toughest.'" She ground her feet in Gavro's head, messing up his hair.
"Okay," he repeated as he was told, "Sheer, you're the best, the fiercest, and the toughest."
"And don't forget the smallest too," another female voice was heard alongside steady steps.
A tall light-blue-skinned woman stopped beside Gavro. Her hair was shoulder-length and teal blue; a small braid was hanging behind her right ear. Her nose was long and pointy like her ears. Her face was quite skinny. Just like her crewmates', her outfit had a purple shade to it and a hexagon-shaped crystal, hers located on her left glove. A long indigo coat covered her body, obscuring her shape. Most notable were her wings, unlike her colleagues, her left wing was artificial; its light purple color not matching her dark blue one on the right.
Sheer's red eyes shot at death glare at the other woman.
"It makes you very deadly," the woman said with a playful smile on her face.
A deep male voice suddenly echoed through the room, cooing nonsense.
"Huh?" Smiles disappeared from the pirates' faces.
The cooing continued.
"Oh, it's the boss," Sheer exclaimed, jumping off Gavro's head, gently landing between him and the other woman.
A hologram formed in front of them, showing the back of a red throne-like chair. "My special one, you're such a joy," came out from the hologram.
"Is he talking to us?" Gavro wondered.
"That'd be nice," the blue woman admitted.
"Shh! Don't ever interrupt the boss," Sheer snapped quietly.
"You're a good boy," the deep voice said as the chair spun around, revealing a green man and a baby Apatosaurus on his lap, "and we had fun chasing that comet, didn't we?"
The dinosaur purred lazily.
"I'm very upset," the boss told the three pirates, whose ears stood straight in fear.
"Yes, boss?"
"Two of my men have failed at getting the Yellow Cosmo Stone," he continued, "Foolscap, stop hiding and give me your pathetic explanation."
Just as he was ordered, Foolscap teleported into the room in a flicking light. A huge smirk was painted across his face, but when he spotted the boss in the corner of his eye, all that confidence vanished. His back bent and he nervously turned to the green man. He held his arms convulsively as he tried to explain.
"Boss, I swear, it wasn't my fault. I had it in the palm of my hands, but then those meddling, little kids kept it from me."
"Ugh, kids stopped you too?" Sheer asked the skinny man.
"I believe you mentioned something about it being like taking candy from a baby," the taller woman reminded Foolscap, leaning to him.
He quickly glared at her. "Zip it, Ream."
"That's really embarrassing that kids stopped you," Gavro joined in.
"Wait..." Sheer turned to the buff man.
"Foolscap, you're pathetic."
The skinny man glanced at Gavro, grinning. "Ha! Gavro, you're just too thick to remember kids beat you too, and anyone who could beat me could beat you because I'm way tougher"
"If you're so much tougher than me, then how come when we wrestled, I squashed you flat like a pancake?" the orange man asked him.
"That's because you sat on me when I wasn't looking. It wasn't fair. If it was fair, I would've creamed you."
Standing in between their argument, Sheer confusedly tilted her head while Ream let out a loud sigh.
"Enough!" the boss raised his voice, making his pirates jerk and look at him, "you're upsetting Brontikins. I don't care who is tougher or smarter. What I want is someone to go to Ancient Rome and get that Yellow Cosmos Stone. ...And I do believe it is your turn, Ream."
The taller woman pointed to herself, her eyes opened wide. "M-me?"
"But, boss-" Sheer spoke up, but was quickly interrupted by him.
"You get one shot. If you return empty-handed, Sheer will get her chance. If even she fails, all four of you will be punished severely."
Both women's ears lowered.
"These will help you on your mission," the boss said before several cards fell from the ceiling.
"Huh?"
Foolscap shot forward, tripping yet keeping balance. He grabbed two of the cards. "Whoa! Nice-new dinosaur cards," he giggled.
Ream snatched the cards from his grip.
"Use them to get the stone," the boss told her.
"Um, boss?" Foolscap looked up at him. "Do you think it's a good idea to send Ream? I mean, the wing-"
"I am the boss here, not you!"
All four jumped at hearing the boss' voice thundering through the room.
"Disrespect makes me angry, and you know when I'm angry, I make people walk the plank, where they float with space debris for all eternity. So don't make me angry!"
The pirates yelped and hopped closer to each other. Foolscap grabbed onto Ream's shoulders, she gripped Sheer's arm and Gavro stepped behind Sheer, all of them trembling as their boss' glowing red eyes pierced through them.
"Y-yes, boss!"

Later that day when the D-Team finally arrived at the colosseum, they found out that finding Spartacus isn't their only issue. The Alpha Gang got captured by the Roman army and Terry is being attacked by soldiers for people's entertainment.
The only thing they could do was to free Terry by defeating him or at least scaring away people holding his chains.
Max called out Chomp; the Triceratops stepped in front of Terry, making people back away.
...but most importantly, it created a battlefield. This lured in the third Space Pirate to them. They're the only ones Ream was aware had dinosaurs, so where there are dinosaurs, there are the kids—where there are the kids, there is the girl with the Yellow Cosmos Stone.
She flew to the source of the battle, spotting a boy that stood out—this surely wasn't an Ancient Roman outfit. She glided down beside him, hovering slightly above the ground, her arms folded. He was by himself, as the other two left to save the Alpha Gang.
"Where's the girl?" she asked him.
Max shot his head up to her. "Another one..." he mumbled and then looked around, realizing that Sofia was gone.
He had no clue where she went, but the pirate didn't know that. If he tells her that, she's just gonna look for Sofia herself, but if he just refuses to tell her, she might try to get the info out of him and that would give Sofia a chance to find her brother. He needs to waste the pirate's time.
"Do you think I'm just going to tell you?" he wondered.
"You don't have much of a choice, kid," Ream told him, "that you managed to defeat my brother doesn't mean you can defeat me."
"Brother?"
"Show him what we're capable of, Albertaceratops, Lambeosaurus!" Ream exclaimed as her left hand covered her face, showing only her left eye. She then raised her arm and slammed it down, placing two dinosaur cards at the crystal on her glove, activating them.
Two dinosaurs landed in the colosseum, roaring at Chomp and Terry, scaring slaves and soldiers away.
"Now, let's try it again. Tell me where the girl is or I'll easily get a hold of your dinosaurs," Ream said.
"I'm not telling you that easily!" Max snapped at her and turned the dinosaurs, "Chomp, Terry is too weak! You gotta protect him!"
Chomp charged at the Lambeosaurus, pushing it away from Terry. Albertaceratops meanwhile rammed into Terry.
Ream landed on the edge of the colosseum, watching with her arms folded.
"Why aren't you doing anything?" Max asked her.
"I don't want to get my hands dirty, I can't do much myself and I won't hurt someone that I don't need to hurt. I'm more generous than my friends. Now, tell me where the girl with the Cosmos Stone is."
"Okay, what about this? If your dinos defeat Chomp and Terry, I'll tell you," he challenged her, "but if you lose tp them, you'll leave." Ream smiled genuinely at him. "Two-on-two battle then? Sure. Challenge accepted."
She pulled the cards of her dinosaurs back out, now they were grey, and she put them to the crystal again. "It'll be easy with a little bit of Spectral Armor."Both Albertaceratopsand Lambeosaurus started to glow in purplish light, obtaining their armor.
Max sweatdropped. "Oh... Yeah, they can do that... I didn't really think this through, did I...? Okay, Chomp, keep that Albertaceratopsaway from Terry!" He swiped a move card. "Lightning Spear!" he yelled out. Chomp tossed the Albertaceratops into the air and jumped behind it.
"You think it'd be that easy?" Ream mocked the boy. She curled her left hand into a fist, holding it across her chest, placing a card to the crystal. "Tapejara Dive!"
Seemingly out of nowhere, a Tapejara flew onto the battlefield, hitting Chomp and knocking him away from the Albertaceratops. Max gasped and watched as his partner clashed onto the ground. "What was that?!" "Executing a move at the perfect time," Ream replied, "someone special taught me that."
"This isn't good..." Max whispered, but then hope finally emerged.
"Guess what, Max," a boyish voice suddenly called from the distance, catching both the boy's and the pirate's attention. Rex and Zoe rushed to their friend with the Alpha Gang slowly following behind. "We saved the Alpha Gang and their scanners," Rex told the brunet happily.
"Did you guys see where the pizza vendor went?" Ursula wondered.
"Both of our dinosaurs are in danger!" Max snapped out at her, "turn Terry back into a card right now."
"So, you're giving up?" Ream asked teasingly. Everyone glanced at the pirate. "You proposed a challenge, kid. It's only fair to keep your word. Or are you a chicken?" she chuckled softly.
"Oh no..." "She shouldn't have said that..." Rex and Zoe sighed worriedly.
"Did you just...call me a chicken?" Max mumbled quietly, his head hanging down, a shadow covering his face. Ream raised an eyebrow and lowered an ear confusedly as she watched the boy's shoulders tremble angrily. "You dare call me a chicken?!" He shot a glare at the alien, his eyes burning in determination. "I'll show you who you're dealing with it."
"Max, it's better if we just leave," Rex said, grabbing Max's arm. A huge grin formed on Max's face. "We're not giving up that easily. If we win, she'll leave Sofia alone."
"How can we trust that?" Zoe asked him, "she is a Space Pirate." "Trusting me is your own choice," Ream spoke up, "you can also just tell me where the girl is and we can go our separate ways."
"We're not leading you to her," the pink-haired yelled at her. "It's better if it's me; trust me, you really don't want her to get to that girl. Now, let's finish this. Thorn Whip!" The pirate pulled out another more card, laying it on her summoner.
The Lambeosaurus roared out, glowing green. The ground cracked open as a thorn-covered vine shot out, smacking Terry into the walls of the colosseum—right below the D-Team, Alpha Gang, and Ream.
"Terry, no!" Ursula rushed to the edge of the colosseum and then shot a death glare at Ream. "You'll pay for hurting my poor Terry, you blue da ba dee da ba die!"
The alien quickly turned away, her ears standing straight. "Fools didn't warn me about...this..." she thought, her inner voice shaking in panic.
"I need this move," Zoe commented. Then Rex looked at her. "Chomp and Terry can't handle this beating themselves." "Oh, right!" Zoe nodded.
"Cheaters," Ream exclaimed, "the match was stated to be between my two dinosaurs and your two dinosaurs. If you break rules, then I might do the same as well and follow you after the battle." "You're lying about leaving anyways," Zoe snapped out. "Are you willing to risk that, girly?" Ream laughed at her, resulting in the girl pouting angrily.
"Let's get this over with. Tapejara! Finish that T-Rex!" Ream ordered. The move listened, heading at Terry at full speed.
"No! Terry!" the Alpha Gang screamed out, as Terry was too weak to dodge, but then Chomp ran in the way, taking a hit instead.
"Chomp! He...he really saved Terry..." Max mumbled and realized what needed to be done. He looked at Ursula. "We need to do a fusion move."
"You can forget about it, brat," Ursula replied.
"They're both in danger!" he reminded her, "we can't let her get our dinosaurs!"
She growled annoyedly, knowing that he's right. "Alright, kid. Relax. I'll do it."
The two of them got their move cards ready, waiting for their dinos to get up. Both dinos roared out loud before their moves activated.
"Plasma..." "Burst!"
Chomp shot an electric anchor at Ream's dinos at the same as Terry breathed fire at the ground, the attacks synchronized, mixing the fire and lightning into its own projectile that pierced through both the Lambeosaurus and Albertaceratops, turning them into cards.
Both trios gasped happily as they all cheered while Ream cringed sadly and spread her wings. "Seems like you've won." She then started flying away, looking back at the trios. "You might have saved that Sofia girl from me, but you doomed her because she gets her job always done."
"Hey, wait!" Max yelled at her, "tell us where our parents are!" But she was gone...
She flew away from the place back to her pod, but when she got there...her heart stopped. Sheer was standing beside the pod, her blood-red eyes glaring at her. Ream's ears lowered once she landed and faced Sheer. She let out a deep sigh. "I failed..." She walked over the pod and past Sheer. "And before you say anything, I know that I'm useless. I'm a Kai that can't fly by themself. I can't do anything and I only wasted time. I knew I shouldn't have come and I wouldn't if it wasn't for the boss' orders."
"I didn't want to say any of that," Sheer told her, "I am not the boss or that prick to tell you or to even think this stuff."
The blue-haired looked back at her. "Sheer..." "I bet you did good enough," Sheer said before getting to the pod. Ream tilted her head. "But you weren't-" The pod lifted from the ground and headed back to the city, leaving Ream by herself. "...there. You can't know how I did..."
