This story is set one year after Daisy got married to L.D. About ten months after Bo and Luke's car accident.

Daisy walked into the RV, after a long day of cleaning up after the rodeo. She looked around and saw no sign of L.D. But she heard some noise coming from the back room. As she made her way to the back of the RV, and something caught her eye. Daisy leaned down and picked up a pair of ladies' panties. They were not hers. Mad and upset, Daisy opened the door and caught her husand with another woman.

"What the hell?" L.D. yelled, as the lady screamed. L.D. looked at his lover and pushed her off of him. She grabbed the covers and covered herself.

"Little late for that, honey." Daisy threw the women's panties at her and grabbed her suitcase. Daisy opened the dresser, grabbed all of her clothes, turned around and closed the door. L.D. didn't even try to stop her from leaving. She looked around and took everything that was hers, which wasn't a lot.

"Now what?" Daisy asked herself. She had very little cash with her and no car. She made her way down the road to the Roadhouse. She went inside and found a payphone.

"Hey, Lisa? This is Daisy. Can I get a favor?"

"It's late. Are you okay?"

"No. Can you pick me up? I'm at a Roadhouse bar, off of County Road Z."

"I know the place. I'll be right there."

"Thanks." Daisy hung up the phone and looked around. There weren't many people there.

"Last call, ma'am." The bartender told her.

"Just waiting on a friend." He noticed the suitcase, and that she's had been crying.

"You alright?" Daisy only nodded. She made her way to an empty table and sat down. Several minutes later, the bartender approached Daisy.

"Bar's closing, I'll let you stay inside, until your ride gets here. If you don't mind me cleaning around you."

"That's fine with me. Thank you." As he cleaned the bar, he tried to make small talk.

"You're not from these parts, are you?"

"No, my husband. I mean ex-husband is with the rodeo." He nodded.

"Let me guess, you just caught him with another woman?" Daisy only nodded. "How long were you married?"

"About a year."

"At least you found out about his indiscretions, before you wasted half your life with him." He continued to wipe the tables off. "You got a place to stay?"

"I think I can stay with my friend that's picking me up."

"Let me know, I have a room in the back that you can use tonight. If you need it."

"Thank you." Several minutes later, Lisa walked in.

"Daisy? What's up?" Lisa asked when she saw the suitcase.

"I left L.D. Caught him in bed with another woman."

"Literally?"

"Yeah."

"Oh, girl."

"Could you drive me to Hazzard?"

"That's about a fourteen hour drive."

"I can pay for your gas." Daisy about begged. Lisa thought for a minute before answering.

"You ready to go now?"

"Only if you are."

"Honey, I have no one to worry on me." The bartender looked up, when he heard that they were leaving this late.

"Ladies, you be careful now." He went in the till and took out some bills. "This should help you out." He gave Daisy $200.

"I can't take this. You'll get into trouble."

"Ma'am, I'm the owner of this establishment. I won't get into trouble, for helping you out." Daisy took the money and put it into her purse.

"Thank you, sir."

"Just don't be going back to him. If this L.D. guy is, who I think he is. He's nothing but trouble, honey."

"You know him?"

"My sister got scammed by a guy with that very name. He stayed with her for months, when he wasn't riding with the rodeo. It's a good thing she didn't have a lot of money, he would have taken it."

"You mean, he has a habit of using women?" Lisa asked.

"Yup. Stays with them when he's not riding. As soon as rodeo season starts, he's gone like the wind." The bartender laughed, then added. "Usually with as much money as he can scam." When he saw the look on Daisy's face, he added. "Sorry miss, I should watch what I say."

"No, it's alright. I should have known. My cousin's were right about him."

"What do ya mean?"

"They tried to warn me about L.D. I wouldn't listen." Before the conversation could become more awkward, Lisa told Daisy. "We should head on out." Daisy only nodded.

"Take care." The bartender told Daisy, as the girls made their way to the door. They got into the car and headed to Hazzard.

"Daisy, are you in a real hurry to get back home?"

"Yes and no. I don't know, why?"

"Why don't we take a couple days and have fun?" Daisy looked out the window and replied several minutes later.

"Sounds good to me."

"Let's get a hotel room and go from there." They got to the hotel and went to sleep. The next day Daisy was feeling a lot better about things.

"Daisy, lets go to Grand Isle."

"Isn't that a bit out of our way?"

"Who cares?" Lisa replied. "We have no one waiting on us." Daisy smiled and they got into the car, to head to Louisiana. They stayed at the beach for a couple of days, before they made their way to Hazzard. When they got to Hazzard, Daisy decided to stay with Coy for a couple of weeks, before she made her way to the Duke farm.

Although some things had changed in Daisy's life, her love of her family only got stronger. It took her being gone for a year, to realize that she loved the people in Hazzard. She also loved living in Hazzard and decided that she didn't want to live anywhere else.
