Hey everyone! This is my new story about Fairy Tail, welcome. I hope you all like it, so thanks for coming to read it and let me know what you think in the comments. I have been thinking about writing a story like this for a long time and just never did. I have time now so I decided to just do it, I mean, why not.
Dear Mom,
I'm sorry that I didn't get to write to you for so long. I mean, it's only been a few days, but I usually write to you everyday. Here's what's been going on.
So two days ago, I was on the way back from a job and decided to get off at the Port of Hargeon to check out the magic shop. I heard they had gate keys and wanted to see if I could find any good ones. In the end, I got a Nicola. I named him Plue. He's super cute. It was unfortunate that they didn't have any more powerful gate keys, but I did have a really great time after I finished up at the shop.
I was walking down the Main Street, looking for an inn to stay the night so I could catch the next train tomorrow morning, but ran into a bit of trouble. There were a bunch of girls flocking to some random guy. I got caught up in all the commotion until this weird guy with pink hair pushed his way right to the front of the crowd. He was looking for someone specific and mistook the guy at the center for his friend. It was then that I realized I was snapped out of a love charm by the pink haired guy.
I got away from the creep with the love charm as fast as I could and went to find the pink haired guy who left when he realized he had the wrong person. I thanked him for his help, even though he had no idea what I was talking about, it was a complete coincidence that he managed to help me out. I offered to buy him and his cat friend some lunch to show my gratitude and they took up the offer immediately.
We found this great little restaurant nearby and the guys ate like the end of the world was coming. It made me laugh, but we got to talking as the meal came to an end and found out that we actually have a lot in common.
We're both wizards, though we are members of different guilds and use different types of magic. He uses fire dragon slayer magic, which was crazy to hear because from what I've read dragon slayer magic is a lost form of magic. I almost didn't believe him at first but he proved it later, I'll get to that story soon, don't worry.
After we ate, we went for a walk around Hargeon and talked some more. Then we ran into the creep from earlier. He kept trying to get me to come on his yacht with him and I had a bad feeling about him, especially with his perverted love charms. After Natsu, Happy and I, that's the pink haired guy, by the way, mom, I think I forgot to mention that, sorry, and Happy is his cat friend. Believe it or not, Happy is blue, walks on two legs, can grow wings to fly around, and even talks, so that day was definitely one of the weirdest I've experienced.
Well, anyway, after Natsu, Happy and I got away from Bora, the creepy pervert, I told Natsu that I was going to the party on Bora's yacht that night. I was worried about the safety of all the girls he'd already charmed and I asked Natsu and Happy to follow me just in case things turned sour on the yacht.
That night, Bora put all the girls to sleep with another creepy, perverted, and totally illegal (by the way) charm and Natsu and I fought him and a bunch of burly guys. I called Aquarius and she swept us away in a tidal way back to shore so that Bora and his thugs couldn't escape. Then Natsu beat the tar out of all of them and all I managed to do was watch in amazement like an idiot with my mouth hung open. Happy thought it was really funny to see me like that and laughed and soon enough I was laughing along too.
The Rune Knights came to try and arrest Natsu and I for all the damage we caused because we may have went just a little bit overboard, so Natsu grabbed my hand and we got the heck out of dodge. We ended up sleeping in a cave that night, which was not the worst place I've stayed in since I left home, but is pretty low on the list. Natsu made a fire and we sat and talked until we both fell asleep.
The next morning, we decided to go our separate ways because I was already a bit late making it back to the guild and didn't want to make anyone worry. Natsu promised to write back to me when I write him a letter though. He said to just send it to the Fairy Tail Guild Hall in Magnolia with his name written on the envelope and they'll make sure that he gets it. When I finish this letter to you, the next thing I'm going to write is a letter to him.
He definitely gave me a confidence boost before we parted ways. He wanted to spar. I said no because I still need to train hard if I want to have even just the slightest chance in defeating him because after seeing him in action in Hargeon I knew I was seriously out classed. He turned around and told me that I better not be underestimating myself, because he would never do that and after seeing what Aquarius did last night, he was sure I had the abilities to beat him if I tried. I made it clear to him that I had low self confidence in respect to my magic, but he wouldn't let that slide. Long story short, I will be meeting up with him next month to do a week of hardcore training together. I'm really excited to see him again.
For the rest of the last two days after I left Natsu in Hargeon, I took the train back to the Guild Hall and checked in Mei. She showed me a few jobs from the board, asking if I would be interested in any of them, and I told her I would think about it tonight.
Master Jose made a big stink about the damages in Hargeon and I apologized profusely before saying I would give him 50% of everything I earn for my next few jobs to help pay him and the guild back. He slapped me with a shadow and said that since it was my first time destroying something that it would just be a warning.
I didn't go back to the guild for the rest of that day. I just sat in my room and cried, then I started writing to you, Mom. It always makes me feel better to talk to you like this. I guess that's really all I have to tell you for now. I promise to write to you again soon.
I love you, Mom!
