Prologue

"Mom, I'm home!" I yelled as I walked into my mom's apartment. My name is Percy Jackson I am 17 years old, and my birthday is on August 18. The date currently is August 16, 2021. My girlfriend, well former girlfriend's name is Annabeth, and she cheated on me with the newest, and self-proclaimed "best" hero, James. James is the new son of Hephaestus. He thinks that just because he killed an elder hydra and got enough celestial bronze and Imperial gold to supply both camps for well over 5 years, he thinks that he is the best. He just boasts that he is the greatest all day, and rarely goes to the forge. She is a demigod daughter of Athena. I am the demigod son of Poseidon. How she thought that he was better than me, I have no idea. I fought Kronos, the Chimera, the Minotaur, and I fought giants. I fought and won 2 wars, but when I caught them together at the beach, I just ran. At first, I ran to my cabin, Cabin 3, Poseidon cabin. Whenever I was in there, I felt a little calm, but it didn't help, so I left, I hopped into my 2006 Ford Mustang Silverado and drove. I drove and didn't look back. So, now we are here. At my mom's house.

"Hey, Baby, how was your day?" A word about my mother, she is the nicest, most wonderful person on the planet. If you have a problem, or if you're sad, she's the one you should go to. She can make you feel like everything is going to be okay. Her blue cookies are amazing, and they are the best thing in the world.

"Terrible, I caught Annabeth cheating on me. I really thought she loved me." "Oh, baby, everything will all get better, soon. You will be far away from all of this. And I know this is a bad time to tell you, but um you're not human." "I know, I'm a demigod." "No, I mean at all. Not a drop of human blood in you." "Mom, what do you mean, I am not human, am I something else?" "Yes, but it is a good something. You are half god, half dragon." "Mom, are you messing with me? You're not a dragon. Dragons have scales and breathe fire. You can't do that." "Yes, I know I can't, but your mother can." "Are you saying that I'm adopted?" "Yes, you were brought to me by your father, and he explained it to me. You see, he knew that I couldn't have children, and he knew the traditions of Ochana, and he convinced your mother to hand you over to me, instead of a regular family." "What is Ochana? Is that where the dragons live?" "Yes, and I agreed to give you back on your 18th birthday."
