Prologue

A/N: So, I have a new fic! I kind of lost my drive for writing, but then I started playing Genshin Impact and my creative juices started flowing! I won't have scheduled chapters since I'll either be writing as I play or as I watch youtubers play…more than likely watching others. I hope you all will bear with me as I get back into the swing of things and I hope you enjoy! As always, praises and CONSTRUCTIVE criticism are fine, but if you have nothing nice to say keep it to yourself or I turn off anonymous reviews.

~* Memory *~

"Outlanders," said a woman as she stepped out of a portal. "Your journey ends here!"

The three figures before her tense at the threat.

"Who are you," questioned a blonde girl in white.

"The sustainer of heavenly principles," she replied as a red cube formed in her hand. "The arrogation of mankind ends now!"

At her declaration, the ground beneath their feet glows red and they jump out of the way. Leaping into the sky, each grows a set of wings and brandishes their weapon. Without a word, they charge their attacker. The two blondes attack with their swords while the third hangs back and fires her bow.

The woman chases after them with red cubes while they fly and avoid the oncoming attacks. In a desperate attempt, the two fly at her with their swords and the third rushes up behind her with bow drawn and ready to fire. With no effort on her part, she blocks the blades with her bare hands. She flares out her red cubes towards the girls and they are quick to retreat, but the blonde boy she captured.

"Aether!"

"Brother!"

Aether looks up at them in panic as the woman's power engulfs him and condenses itself. Furious, they charge the woman to try and free their companion. Once more, they are easily stopped and soon find themselves trapped in much the same way.

"Wait," cries the young woman. "Give my brother back!"

~* Present Time *~

"And just like that," said a blonde girl. "The god took away my brother. Some kind of seal was cast upon us, and we lost our power. So, while we used to travel from world to world, we are now trapped here."

"And we don't even know how many years it's been," said a dark-haired girl in green. "We woke up and just wandered until we met you two months ago."

"Yeah, Paimon really owes you for that," said a child-like figure floating beside them. "Otherwise Paimon likely would have drowned! So, Paimon will do her best to be a great guide!"

The two smile at her and get up from sitting on the beach. The girl in green stands back and watches them walk ahead of her.

'And to think,' she thought. 'It all started with Inuyasha's stupid wish.'

"Kagome, let's go!"

"Coming, Lumine!"

'Onwards toward another adventure!'
