Author's note: Ddakji are what the folded paper tiles are called, aside of the game (which is also called Milk caps game), and it's what Seong Gi-hun and the salesman play in the train station (Squid's game 1st episode)

Ddakji

Purple and black.

Claudine puts the book she was reading until that very moment on the nightstand next to the bed to stare at the folded paper tiles placed in front of her with a furrowed brow. Then, she gazes up at Maya with an arched eyebrow, seeing the other girl looking down at her with a beaming smile on her face.

- Qu'est-ce que c'est? (What is this?) – she asks Maya confused.

- Oh, I apologize ma chérie, I thought it was clear. These are ddakjis – Maya answers her cheekily, gaining a snort and an eye roll from Claudine.

- Méchante va… I know what these are, smart ass. I meant what these are for.

Maya just chuckles, to then smile wider at the question.

- Oh, then you should have formulated that question in a proper way, ma chérie – Maya, upon noticing Claudine's glare just winks at her and giggles briefly.

Then, she clears her throat to explain the reason of why she has them in her hands, and also because she doesn't want to tease her girlfriend any further or else she'll just go back to her book and plainly ignore her.

- I thought we could play a game with them.

- Hah? Why would I want to play a game this late? – Claudine asks Maya, squinting her eyes at her girlfriend suspiciously.

- Because if you win – Maya pauses dramatically, approaching Claudine to leave a light caress on one of her cheeks as she leans over her ear – I'll let you be the top and do whatever you want on this beautiful night.

Maya whispers huskily, pulling away to see Claudine's face getting tinted in a furious shade of red.

- W-Why would I agree to play a stupid game for that!? – Claudine squeals completely flushed.

- Oh, because ma chérie, you always complain about never getting to be the top, remember? So I thought it'd be a good opportunity for you, or... are you afraid of losing?

Maya says calmly, grinning mischievously knowing her words had the desired effect on the other girl who has now a scowl on her adorable face and a fierce glint in her eyes.

- I'm not! I'll win this stupid game, you infuriating woman and I'll show you what a real top is! – Claudine says with a mix of anger and embarrassment evident in her voice.

- It's settled then. If you win, I'll see what a real top is – Maya says quoting Claudine, grinning at the proud grin on the other girl's face thinking she'll win – but if I win... I'll do whatever I want with you.

Maya ends up saying hoarsely, brushing Claudine's lips with her fingertips, pulling her bottom lip slightly down with her thumb before going down her neck, and Claudine can't help but gulp hard, looking into Maya's mischievous eyes not saying anything at all but accepting the challenge, getting out of bed to abruptly take the black ddakji from her girlfriend's hand.

- I-I'll win this stupid game, just sit and watch!

Maya can't help but giggle at how proud and cute her girlfriend can be some times or well, most of the time.

- Then why don't you start? – Maya offers her friendly, seeing the ash-blonde rolling the sleeves of her shirt up with a determined expression on her face and a fierce glint in her eyes, and Maya would be lying if she didn't admit it's something really sexy to witness.

She watches the other girl taking a deep breath and focusing her attention solely on the purple ddakji in front of her. She notices her tongue timidly appearing out of her mouth before in a quick move, Claudine throws her black ddakji against the purple one on the floor to try to flip it. But to her surprise, it doesn't move in the slightest.

Well, that's okay. It's not like Maya will be able to flip it at the first attempt.

Claudine thinks to herself, self-assured of her chances to win.

Maya grins and approach calmly where the other girl is to retrieve her purple ddakji from the floor and in a swift but strong move, she's able to flip the black ddakji.

Oh.

It's all Claudine can think about as she looks at the floor flabbergasted, then up, immediately seeing a proud smile present on Maya's face.

- I've won – Maya states proudly and Claudine somehow winces, not wanting to imagine what Maya may have in mind for the night.

- Whatever, you were just lucky – she murmurs, trying not to be a sore loser while she observes Maya approaching her to place her black ddakji in the palm of her hand as well as a light kiss on her wrist.

- Would you mind if we have a rematch? – she says softly, looking charmingly at a blushing Claudine.

- O-Of course not! – she stutters, taking a shaky breath before pushing Maya aside to try and flip her purple ddakji with all her might, but she fails miserably.

Maya clicks her tongue before flipping Claudine's ddakji with ease, a smug smile plastered on her face.

- Another round? – Maya whispers in Claudine's ear, kissing the patch of skin underneath it, teasing her.

- Méchante va, you're really enjoying this, aren't you? – Claudine says, glaring at Maya before trying again, seeing how she fails and Maya succeeds again, getting another kiss but this time on her cheek and an amused giggle.

- I do, indeed.

Claudine snorts, getting riled up and tries again, and again, and again while Maya keeps winning time after time, peppering kisses all over Claudine's face, hands, wrists...

- Argh, you're cheating! I bet your ddakji has something tricky in it! – Claudine points at Maya, accusing her in an outburst after losing for the nth time.

- I can assure you it isn't like that, ma chérie but a matter of luck or strength, whichever you prefer – Maya sees Claudine glaring at her defiantly, crossing her arms over her chest and the brunette can't help but bite her own lip to not laugh at how menacing yet cute her girlfriend looks – but if you don't believe me, here, check it by yourself.

Maya ends up telling her girlfriend calmly, giving Claudine her purple ddakji so she can see by herself that it's just a matter of luck or strength like she said.

Claudine double-checks it before she handles it back to Maya.

- Urgh fine – she grumbles and Maya can't help but find it adorable, letting out a giggle.

- Another round? – she asks the ash-blonde giving her the best puppy eyes she can muster and Claudine blushes, averting her eyes.

- I-If you insist! But I'm warning you, I'll win this time!

- You said that the last nth times – Maya teases her, pissing Claudine off.

- S-Shut up, infuriating woman! – Claudine says angrily, throwing her ddakji against Maya's one too hard to see how this time it finally flips.

She stares at it incredulous then at Maya, seeing her smiling at her softly.

- I've won – she says still incredulous, making Maya giggle.

- You did indeed – Maya says still giggling, seeing Claudine jumping cutely at have finally won.

- I've fucking won! – Claudine exclaims before she realizes of her outburst and clears her throat embarrassed, calming down briefly to then look at Maya fiercely, sending shivers down her spine and tremors all the way to her core.

- Now you're mine so get ready, mon amour – Claudine says huskily and provocatively, pulling Maya by her shirt to kiss her hard and then push her against the bed, making her fall onto the mattress, all her cuteness gone.

Claudine smirks at the sight of a surprised but delighted Maya underneath her at her complete mercy and straddles her, feeling Maya's hands coming to rest on her waist to pull her closer while Claudine kisses her harder, pulling Maya's bottom lip with her teeth before she travels down her neck, nibbling it and eliciting loud moans from the brunette, finally being the top thanks to the stupid ddakji game.
