It was recess time at Third Street School and some kids were up to something out on the playground.
"This is Team Leader to all units, is everyone in position?" asked a girl into a walkie talkie. She was wearing a black leather jacket, white t-shirt, blue jeans, a red baseball cap, and military boots.
"Sports is ready," said a dark skinned boy in a green and blue striped shirt, and tan shorts as he stood on the roof.
"Big Girl and Science Nerd are set," said a boy with glasses and military style clothes as he stood with a large girl in a green shirt and blue jean shorts. They were on another side of the roof where they had taken several cases of chocolate bars and other vending machine-like foods from a delivery truck that had been parked at the side of the building.
"Snitch's brother here, Snitch is on the opposite side of the playground, now is the best time to do this," said a boy that looked like Randall as he watched a girl sneaking around and watching some kids playing, taking notes on everything she saw.
"Alright then," said the girl as she gave a thumbs up to another girl who was sitting on the throne. A crown rested on her head with the letter K on it.
"Children of the playground!" said the girl as she stood from her seat. This caused everyone to stop what they had been doing and look at her.
"I, Queen Kelly, with help from some friends, give you free snacks!" said the girl. Suddenly, all the snacks were flung across the playground by two trebuchets that had been built on top of the roof of the school.
"Hey, put that down," said the teacher on duty as she chased some kids around who were hurriedly picking up the snacks.
"Tender," said the girl with the red cap as she and Queen Kelly watched from atop the jungle gym. However, all of the fun soon stopped when the sound of the intercoms turning on filled the air.
"A.J. Detweiler, to my office, now," said a voice over the intercoms.
"See you around, Queen Kelly," said A.J. as she left with a two-finger-salute before going down the slide.
"Good luck, A.J., hope he's not too tough on you," said Queen Kelly.
