Challenge Time!
I'm sorry if you got excited when you read this title up and then saw the word "challenge."
I've seen a lot of these reaction fics going around so I will issue this challenge out to anyone willing. First time I've ever done so hope I can make it work. Why am I not doing this story myself? Because I'm lazy and tend to procrastinate. A lot. Like finish work till the night before when I got it a month ago.
That and I don't feel like I have a good handle on their personalities.
The rules are simple.
1. "The Viewers." Any number of RWBY characters can be written to watch and react to the episodes from any point in the timeline. Whether the writer wants just the hero factions, villain faction, long dead characters or even just the small group. It's up to them.
2. "Cast Roles." I know there seems to be a point of contention with having writers insert RWBY characters in the viewing. I feel that it would be much easier to leave out the inserts and just have them react to the in-canon characters and their universe. Must be tough trying to find which characters would fit each role. Although, inserting the characters can add some really good dialogue and relatability elements.
Layman's terms, go with whatever floats your boat.
3. "Romance." Another thing some people can have issues with in these reaction fics. Ships that happen to form or have non-canonically developed when writing these fics. Personally, I have no hang-ups over it. Only when it's over the same, one character. (You know EXACTLY who I'm talking about.)
4. Not much of a rule, but more of nit pick. I'd much prefer no bashing any characters who're viewing it. However, even if you do, it won't stop me from watching the reactions.
That's about all I can think of now. I'll leave this up and post the writer who want's to take up the challenge in the next... chapter. To accept, simply send me a private message saying you'll do it.
