The guys on this team were great and cocky They had a reason to be because in my previous life they won eight straight games before taking a lost and Coach G was also a legend but his age had made him a little soft. Coach wanted us to run a quick game benchwarmers verse starters. I didn't even start with the bench team which showed how little those guys respected me but I didn't care because I wanted to focus on my studies anyways.

The game went underway as the benchwarmers were getting crushed. Tim was surprisingly not bad at running the point when I was watching the game. Coach came besides me and started making conversation with me, asking me if the bench was good enough to run with me in the final minutes.

This surprised me because I thought coach didn't care about what I thought so I told him" it doesn't matter who runs with me as long as they pass me the ball we are going to win everytime". Coach G laughed and said he likes my confidence.

The game went on us the bench had lost badly while the starters had their confidence boosted up even more thinking that they were undefeatable. I didn't want to come in the game and destroy that hope because I wasn't planning on playing that much minutes in the first place so I needed them to win their games. After the game the starter's seem to be staring at me with mockery under eyes. I simply ignored them as we continued to practice until the end. I had a book in my hands the whole time reading and learning for the next class. Tim asked me why I didn't come play with them and if I had played they would of won but I told him that I'm simply not ready to play yet.

Tim could only shake his head as everyone left to go freshen up and go back to their rooms to get ready for the next day. The Terps football team was playing their first game so Sandra invited me to go watch it with her. It was cold that night so we were all bundled up as we went to find our seats. I was able to get VIP seats with a good view. The starters from the basketball were there too and when they saw my girlfriend some couldn't believe it and some were jealous especially Lance who hated me with a passion. They approached Sandra and I, as soon as I saw them coming towards us I knew they were coming to do something stupid so I waited until Lance came and asked Sandra why was she with a loser like me and started bragging about how he was a starter and I was just a bench warmer for the bench warmers and that I would never see a single game until next year.

Take pushed Lance away and started flirting with Sandra. Sandra was beyond pissed my own teammates were disrespecting me and my woman but I calmed her down and told the guys if they want my girl they would have to beat me in a one on one game but in order to play me they would have to put $1k on the line winner takes it all. They cringed after that statement because none of them had that kind of money to be putting on a simple game.

Lance didn't care as he asked them all to put in for this match and they were going to have their center Sean play me since he was the best on their team. I couldn't believe they agreed to a game so we scheduled it for the next day in the evening and there was going to be a crowd. I told them if they win I will give them $2k if they make it one vs two. I wanted Lance to play too so I could put him in his place so he would leave me alone.

They got excited after hearing what I said and agreed because Lance was apparently a great shooter so it will make it official if they had an offensive and defensive force playing against me. They left us alone after as Sandra got mad and asked why I did that and I simply told her they have been bugging me for a while so I just want to put them in their place. I was honestly considering their feelings until they disrespected my girl and myself so now I'm going to embarrass them in front of a crowd. Sandra couldn't wait until I got them back so we just got comfortable and started watching the game. The game commenced and surprisingly our football team was winning. I saw the coach was going in and out trying to find out what was going on with some of the players because some of them started acting a fool on the field.

This issue cost them the lead for some time, but they were able to finally come back and win the game. The place was extremely loud and I just felt like going back home to study and relax and maybe have some fun with Sandra because it's been awhile since we hooked up. I whispered in her ear after the game that we should go back to my place causing her to blush as she slowly nodded. We made our way back to my place when the starter's saw us leaving and a blush on Sandra's face, they were extremely jealous that they could not have a beautiful girl like her. I remembered the match that they were going to be playing tomorrow evening and thought that if I lost they would be able to snatch Sandrawakeninga from me but they were in for a rude . She got back to my place as we cuddle for a bit and slowly made our way to the bedroom for some fun and games.

We continued to play games and we were still on a winning streak, soon there was a big buzz around our team as celebrities and big-name players started to come to watch our games and just to see me play. A lot of recruiters were there too, on one of the game night's someone I had noticed as soon as I walked in the gym was none other than Kobe Bryant.

When he saw me looking at him and he smiled at me I was shocked because even though I wasn't a big fan of him in the past, I still respected his game. I went to greet him and he told me to stick around after the game he wanted to talk to me said sure no problem as I went to go get warmed up by shooting around with the team. Just because Kobe was there I decided to go for 82 points. I was using all of Kobe's signature moves, I did the fadeaways, crossovers and to finish it off with the wraparound the ball around my back and dunked it. Kobe was truly enjoying this game as I displayed basketball excellence. Kobe was on his feet clapping and enjoying the show. We kept looking back and forth at each other we can both feel the Mamba mentality within us getting excited to play against each other.

The game finally ended, I had 11 assists, 82 points, 11 rebounds, and 15 steals. I had ranked up the stats and in this game as people started chanting MVP. After greeting the other team Kobe had told me to come to meet up with him after I have freshened up. After the coach had talked to us about all the things we could have done differently and dismissed us, I went to freshen up. I went back to the court where it was completely empty except for Kobe who had a bunch of his guards near him while waiting for me. We shook hands as he started the conversation off by saying "you would be the right fit for the lakers". This shocked me as I had the one and only Kobe Bryant trying to recruit me to his team. I'm so excited and confused because I thought NBA stars weren't allowed to recruit college students. Kobe looked at me and said" yeah I know I'm not supposed to do this but I'm willing to risk it all for you, we need somebody like you on our team that wants to win, there's a lot of ballers out there that play, but not a lot of people want to win.

I saw that in you when I was watching your highlights but after seeing you play and the way you play today I'm sure if you come under my wing you'll be a star in no time".I told him what I told all the others that approached me like Iverson and LeBron, "that's not up to me", which he quickly cut me off and said, "everything is up to you, you decide what you want for your future not the others just have the Lakers on the top of your list when the time comes".I then explained that I had received an invitation from more basketball stars as I asked him" what makes you think I'll take your offer and not theirs".

Kobe smiled as he said," I can play a game to 5 and if I beat you then you should change your mind and join the Lakers if given a chance". I couldn't believe I was getting the opportunity to play against Kobe, this should be epic I thought. Kobe didn't even change as he played in the same attire he came with which was some jeans and looked very casual. He told me I could have the ball first since I'm younger which in my mind I thought man this guy is going to regret that. As soon as we check the ball I took my shot but after I took that shot for some weird reason Kobe had blocked it but instead of slapping the ball away he grabbed it went to the other end and windmill dunked it.

I was surprised and starstruck as I thought man this is what I real NBA future hall-of-Famer is like. Kobe paid attention to details like a shark. He seemed like he was focused on my muscle movements more than the actual movement of the ball itself. It felt like I was facing off against a black Mamba snake, he was now up by one point and had the ball, make it take it. He dribbled up a little bit as I guarded him he took one step forward and that step alone put him right near the bucket as I thought what long legs.

Kobe dunked it once again this time moving the ball around his back to bring it back up with a nice flush while hanging on there for a few seconds. At this point, I started to wake up as I thought like this is my chance to beat Kobe so I better not mess this up. Kobe seemed like he was impressed with what he was doing as we checked the ball up once again. He started to do his back up move where he backs up the opponent close to the post, does his fake turns around and fades "swish" like that he was up by 3 points and I still hadn't scored.

I was so amazed by his moves as I wanted to learn them because the moves that I did during the game wasn't as perfect as his and if I could learn how to do that move and fade with a shot I don't think anybody could stop me unless they were extremely tall. Due to my short height that move wouldn't work so well against taller opponents but against opponents shorter or within my height range which is 6'2, I'm sure that I could shoot it like that every single time and make it. Kobe had noticed that I was paying attention to all the details when we are playing and he appreciated players like those who were willing to learn as they play.

This time now I got my act together because I hadn't scored one single point so I needed to show him that I was also good enough. As soon as he checked up the ball I used time freeze to steal the ball but even with that, it seemed like the time had been cut shorter, within two seconds the time had unfrozen again and Kobe was right on me playing defense.Luckily I was able to steal the ball within that time but next time I definitely have to be quicker than that. Kobe didn't even care that I had stolen the ball from him as he was in defense mode and very focused. I did a few crossovers to get free from him and finally made my first point.

I wanted to catch up so I stayed outside the three-point line and he knew that I could shoot from there so he played defense on me wherever I went he did too, it didn't matter if I went to the half-court or not he still played great defense on me. The respect I had for this man elevated as I thought I could learn a lot from him might as well do it now.

I was able to do the James harden step back to get two more points as I tied up the game. He called a travel and I told him that it clearly wasn't because it was sort of like a euro-step he smirked and said are you trying to destroy the game that was clearly a travel I said okay we'll shoot for it if I make it then it's a good point but if I mess it no point and you get the ball back. Kobe smirked and said fine and of course, I made the point, he wasn't intimidated by that he just laughed as he got back on defense. I told him that if I make the next one from the 3-point line I win which made him get more focused in. I had to cheat a little by crossing him up with golden eye before I was about to take the shot.

The guy was already with me even after being crossed up he was still by my side as I had to time freeze in order to get the shot off. I faded to the side just a bit while taking the rainbow shot. When the time freeze was over he saw that I was taking a floating rainbow shot and tried to swat it, but he missed it by a few inches has the ball went straight in and with a splash. I was able to win that tough game playing against a legend. It was extremely tough, especially one in his prime. Kobe couldn't believe that I had beat him as he said: " man these college kids coming up or going crazy in the NBA".

I simply laughed at this as we chatted up a little bit. He took me out to eat at a restaurant that he normally comes to in DC. He took me to a spot that I had never been to, where they were playing some cool blues and jazz. I really enjoyed his company and it was quite different from the normal company that I keep. After saying my goodbyes to Kobe we finally decided to part ways as he had another vehicle came to pick him up while he had a different vehicle drop me off. I was like o man, I can't wait to become as cool as this guy and thought man I was able to play one-on-one against a legend.

I smiled all the way back home and didn't tell anybody about this after he threatens me to never speak a word about this loss he took against me. I got home and got ready for the weekend as I got a text from Koby saying thanks for the game and don't forget to think about the Lakers tonight purple and gold will look good on you. I laughed at this as I shut my eyes and thought of the plane crash he would go through to end his life with his daughter. Since I was from the future, this time I will at least try to warn him about it in the future. Rest in peace Kobe Bryant AKA Black Mamba and his daughter. Prayers go out to his friends and family for this loss. Gone but not forgotten!!

Riri started coming around more as she finally found a building we could use to build our studio in and our whole brand. I gave her a couple of names to go search for in order to add to our new record label like J Cole, Kendrick Lamar, Nate Joël, Nikki Minaj, Future, and Cardi B.

When I gave her those names she looked at me weird like who are these people. I quickly explained to her that these were people that were going to be part of our start-up record label. She should treat them well and try to get them in before someone else snatches them.

Riri didn't understand but she listened to her man as she ordered her workers to get to work looking for these artists. Nate was pretty easy to find as he lived in my neighborhood so all I had to do was go pick him up from my old neighborhood and explain things to him.

Half the people on the list weren't even rappers yet so for us to approach them confused them but thankfully I already had the songs they would sing or rap in the future in my head so all I had to do was write it down and have them perform it.

I was going to spend a lot of money on my brand to come up with my own station where we play their songs only and it was going to be nothing but fire songs. I was going to get into contact with other rappers for collaboration in order to build up momentum.

Lil Wayne and Drake were on fire that year and were featured in every track you can think of. After finalizing everything with Riri we had some fun together before I had to kick her out to get some studies done.

I started spending more time with Isabella after I found out she had gained one of my abilities which were she couldn't miss when she shot the ball. I was surprised by this and couldn't wait to see how her future would turn out as she started to love basketball too.

I wondered If all my kids would inherit my abilities as I made sure I wouldn't have too many of them if that was the case. I didn't want to break the future too much with my offsprings. I went to support Isabella in all her games and had taught her a few moves to compliments her new style which was to be a shooter.

I made sure she got the right training with building upper arm strength, legs, and stamina since she lacked those the most. She would be shooting and running most of the time so her building on those will help her get better.

It was quite an experience seeing the little one playing games and dominating, even watching her take her first loss was quite an experience for me and in order to not get her discouraged I still had a celebration after the game.

I could tell she was surprised by that and could tell she was trying to please me in every game by doing our best but I had to tell her to relax and do what makes her happy instead of trying to please others. Sometimes in life, we have to take a loss but that loss should motivate you to get stronger and elevate your game, not just stay the same, level up.

After they went on a winning streak they thought they were unbeatable and had become lazy, but there's always somebody better especially after I had faced off against Aki did I realize that I had to elevate my game once more. In football, we had won the national title against LSU.

It was such a tough match and without me, I doubt we would have won or had even gotten to that level. After winning that title a lot of people that didn't know I was a basketball player started to say that I would draft into the NFL after this season as the number one pick.

ESPN had cleared up that rumor real quick by saying that I was just helping out a team and I'm more likely to go into the NBA rather than the NFL but a lot of people were also spreading rumors that I'll be going into both NFL and NBA which caused everybody to laugh because they had never seen anybody do that before.

Playing both football and basketball but I had done it in high school and college so the possibilities were strong. These arguments were all over the internet and in sports talk shows. I ignored all the noise and focused on what I was doing, which was studying hard, practice hard, train hard and in business, we were making big moves.

I was on a roll and felt like things were too perfect when things are too perfect and I felt like a storm was brewing. If another Aki appeared I wouldn't be shocked at this time and I'll try my best to stay level-headed.

I had once again received another trophy and another metal to add to my ever-growing collections. Football was just a side hobby for me and I didn't really take it seriously. I was just helping out the team after I'd explained that in a press conference everybody understood my role in football and stop talking about all the rumors of me drafting into the NFL.

It was my birthday month after the football season ended. We had a couple of basketball games as we blew them all out thanks to me. I was still coming off the bench as me and the bench squad was dominating. Momba had moved from bench to starter which surprised me but it seems like he wanted to stand out more instead of riding my fame.
