Millenia ago, the Earth existed in harmony with another world, Kosmima. This ancient, beautiful world was filled with wondrous cities, and magical, mythical inhabitants. However, that peace and harmony was shattered when the Druidons, an evil sealed away in the depths of Kosmima, was released accidentally. The Druidons cut off the connections between the two worlds, making travel impossible. Soon, five Kosmima warriors fought the Druidons in an epic battle. The warriors gave their lives to seal the Druidons. But, in present day Earth, an excavation is about to end up going horribly wrong...
Long ago, the magical world of Kosmima was connected to the elements of nature. Also connected to the elements was its residents. Fairies, Druids, even Kitsunes and Dwarves and Mermaids. All of these ancient creatures were magical and accessed the powers in different ways. However, as with all good things, there was a downside. An evil unlike nothing else the world had ever seen wanted to take all that magic for itself. So, banding together, these magical beings came together and formed a team of powerful warriors, the Kosmima Guardians. When the evil attacked, it encroached on the entire world, and slowly drained magic from Kosmima. Ultimately, it took the ancient Warriors everything they had to seal the evil, at the cost of their own lives.
No one today remembers anything, and the Kosmima Guardians passed down their legacy through several families. When that legacy is reawakened after all these years, it's time once again for the Guardians to rise up, and live up to their legacy!
~Ayona Cove, 2027, Southern California, Outskirts of The City~
Emily Roberts sighed to herself as she got out of her car, looking around the ancient tomb looking site. She ran a hand through her blonde hair, sighing softly. There was a full excavation crew. Someone nearby had set up a table which had laptops and all sorts of scanning tools on it. A young man was typing rapidly on the computer, eyes glued to the screen. His sandy blonde hair was blowing lightly in the cool breeze. "Emily, you have to take a look at this!" He shouted, waving the archeologist over. Emily jogged over quickly to meet her friend, frowning. "James, what is it?" Emily asked her best friend of nearly 11 years now. "These readings are off the scale, Em. Whatever this thing is, it's not good." James Navarro replied, sighing softly. The former Aqua Dino Charge Power Ranger looked worried. His Energem shone brightly around his neck. "These statues have been here as long as anyone can remember, why would they want us to check them out now?" Emily wondered, looking over at the stone statues.
James shrugged, twisting his Energem in between his fingers. "I have a very bad feeling about this." He muttered. Sure enough, the ground started shaking, and evil laughter echoed in the air, causing the other crew members to run and scream. James went to Morph, but a blast of darkness from one of the statues knocked him down, his Dino Charge Morpher clattering to the ground as he was knocked out. "James!" Emily ran over to her friend. The three statues exploded, and revealed three figures, two of which were laughing maniacally. "After all these years, WE'RE FREE!" A deep male voice exalted happily. Emily started in fear and trepidation. "Oh, why did I have to be right?" She muttered under her breath. The male, who had dark skin and bright green eyes, grinned maliciously at her. "To reward you for our freedom, we will start by killing everyone here!" He roared, waving his hand, and causing darkness to descend on the area.
The woman next to him had pale skin, and gleaming obsidian eyes, giggling hysterically. "Allow me to help, oh brother dearest!" With a wave of her hand, the woman laughed as the crew members started screaming and wailing in fear. The man laughed loudly, outright cackling, snapping his fingers. The crew was killed instantly as Emily screamed in horror. The third figure, who looked like a walking alien dog with glasses, watched silently, adjusting his gold glasses.
Emily screamed again, and shook James awake. James stared in horror once he fully woke up. "NO!" The former Ranger screamed. He fired a blast from his Morpher, but the woman laughed, and casually deflected the aqua blast without really trying. "Brother, let's get out of this hell hole." The woman declared, and the man snickered. "Something we can agree on, for once." He mocked. The alien with them sighed softly. The man smirked maliciously at Emily, his eyes promising death for her. "Tell the world that the Druidons have returned!" He ordered her, before he, the woman, and the dog vanished in a swirl of darkness. Emily sobbed softly, before she and James got into James's car, and drove away from the excavation site.
~Ayona Cove High School, 4 hours later~
Jacob Jordan Oliver, otherwise known as JJ Oliver, walked through the school as he hummed to himself. He shoved his hands in his pockets as he looked around. It was lunch time, and he was meeting his friends. He clutched his necklace, where a small purple crystal was dangling. He sighed softly. The crystal had a purple Dragon inside of it. JJ looked around, before spotting his friends over at a nearby table, chatting and laughing. He jogged over, and smiled. "Yo!" He waved. His younger sister, Serenity Oliver, smiled, and cuddled him when he sat down. She shared her brother and their father's brown eyes. Unlike JJ, she has blonde hair where he has brown hair. The crystal necklace around her neck was an orange color, and her animal was the Gryphon. Angelica Stanton, daughter of Terra Venture Captain John Stanton, laughed when she saw them. "People would think you two are a couple instead of siblings." She teased. The dark skinned teen has blue eyes, and brown hair.
Angie's Crystal necklace was Green, and her animal was an Eagle. Sera stuck her tongue out. "Oh, shut up Angie." She threw a French fry at Angie, who squeaked, and swatted it away. Sean Lockwood snickered at them. The young man laughed at them. He has green eyes, and dirty blonde hair, and his Power Crystal was Silver, and had a Kitsune. "No cheesy coupleness while we're eating." Sean teased. Both women turned a glare on him, and Sean cowered under their gaze. Finally, the last teen, a young lady, adjusted her glasses, smiling softly. Her bright blue eyes scanned the table. "What are everyone's plans for after school?" She tilted her head, her blonde hair falling to her waist. Jessica Chambers waited patiently for an answer. Her Crystal was Gold, and contained a small Coyote. "I was actually going to go to the Youth Center." JJ piped up, wrapping an arm around his sister's shoulder. Sera smiled. "I was going to meet dad and we were going to a karate competition." She added.
Her and JJ's father was, of course, the legendary Tommy Oliver. Well, legendary to those who knew who he really was, anyways. Sean shrugged. "I was just gonna head home and catch up on homework." He pulled a face. Angie shrugged. "Was just gonna play some video games." She put in her two cents. Jessica looked at Sean. "I could help with the homework, if you want?" The young genius offered, tilting her head. Sean nodded. "Yes please." Angie blinked. "Hey guys, don't we have an archeology club after school?" She reminded them. Both JJ and Sera blushed. "I forgot." They muttered simultaneously. Sean nodded. "Yeah, Miss Roberts wanted us to meet afterwards." Jessica sighed. "Then we should go and get going." Angie said.
A little while after their school hours had ended, they all met up in the library, where the club was generally held. For a school library, it was rather technologically advanced, which only made sense, given the year. Computers lined some of the walls, and the shelves were rather high. Half of them contained regular paperback/hardback books, and some of them were holobooks. Standing in the middle were Emily and James. "Ms. Roberts! Mr. Navarro!" Sera tilted her head curiously. "Is everything okay?" JJ added, fiddling with his necklace. "No, JJ, things are not okay." Emily sighed softly. "It's time to live up to your legacies." James added seriously. Sera frowned. "What do you mean by that?" Emily pointed to each of their Crystals. "The stories we've told you, and the stories your parents have told you about the Crystals? They're all true." Emily explained.
Before any of the teens could say anything, there was a bright flash of light, and the group was teleported. While Emily and James landed on their feet, the teens landed in a heap, quickly scrambling off of each other. Sera looked around. "Where are we?" She asked softly. An older looking man stepped out from behind a bookshelf. He has blue eyes, and a long beard, with what looked like a purple robe that had stars on it. "Hello, Serenity Oliver. My name is Rowan, and you, your brother, and your friends are in the ancient land of Kosmima." Rowan said, his voice deep. Sera tilted her head. "Kosmima?" Angie frowned. "That's just a legend." Sean added, looking skeptical. Jessica simply adjusted her glasses. Rowan smiled slightly. "I can assure you, it is very real, young ones." He added. He tapped his long silver staff on the ground, and a blank wall in front of the group revealed something spectacular.
Jessica watched in fascination as a clear view of what looked like an ancient city appeared. There were all sorts of mythical looking creatures flying and walking around, fairies of all sorts with different colored wings. "Oh my God." Jessica stared in surprise. Sean rubbed his eyes. "That's not possible." He muttered. Rowan laughed softly. "It is very possible. This world is Kosmima." He repeated, grinning at their stunned expressions. Rowan turned serious after switching the view screen off. "However, there is a very serious reason you all are here." Rowan cleared his throat, looking at the teens. Sera sighed, running a hand through her hair. "Let me guess." She grumbled under her breath. "Centuries ago, there were five powerful Warriors." Rowan started. JJ, Angie, Sean, and Jessica were enraptured instantly. Sera tilted her head. "They protected Kosmima from all sorts of threats." Images of five warriors in strange suits battling horrible looking foot soldiers.
On the screen, the warriors looked up as a massive shadow arrived, blowing them back with ease. The man, woman, and dog from the excavation site landed from the shadow cloud, and the cloud hovered around. "However, Darkness was too much for them." The battle raged on as each of the warriors were blown back one by one, their suits shattering. The Purple Guardian gave a glare of defiance at the shadow, her eyes narrowing as her electric blue wings flapped. Suddenly, the screen went dark. "No one knows what happened to the Guardians after that, just that they were never seen again." Rowan looked saddened. Rowan cleared his throat. "That's why you all are here." He added. JJ tilted his head. "Correct me if I'm wrong, but did the purple one have wings?" He asked, incredulously. Rowan smiled. "Yes. All of the Guardians were magical creatures. Saela was a Lightning Fairy." He explained.
"When the Guardians vanished, their Crystals reappeared in different family lines. Your lines." Rowan said, pointing to each of the Crystals around the teens' necks. JJ frowned, and looked at Sera, who shrugged. "Does this mean what I think it means?" Jessica tilted her head, adjusting her glasses, which was a tic of hers. Rowan nodded. "You five are the new Guardians." He explained. Sean scoffed, and looked around for an exit. "Yeah right. Clearly there was something in our school lunch. I'm outta here." He decided. James stepped in front of him. "Sean, these worlds need you. You have a Crystal for a reason. You all do." He said softly. Sean sighed softly. "Fine." He caved. Angie rubbed her hands together. "This ought to be fun. Saving the worlds, hell yeah!" She declared. "I'm so in." JJ laughed softly. "Our dad would laugh if we declined this. Sera and I are in." He decided. Sera smiled, and nodded, leaning against her brother's shoulder. Rowan smiled, full of hope again. "These are your Morphers, built by me, Emily, and James." Rowan tapped his staff, and a mahogany box with intricate carvings appeared in a flash of silver light in his hands.
James opened the box, and held it out to the team. Inside, there were five phone looking devices, in different colors with different symbols. The purple phone had the symbol for lightning on the back, and gold and silver lines running through it. There was a small latch on it, which opened up. The other phones were similarly designed, with the other Rangers' respective colors and elements. "JJ, as the Crystalizer Guardian of Lightning, you are the leader, and as such, your Crystalizer Power Animal is the Dragon. Fierce, Powerful, Brave, you will command and pilot the Dragon." Rowan started. JJ grinned. "I've always loved dragons! Yes!" He fist pumped, taking the Purple Morpher. "Serenity, Crystalizer Guardian of Air. Kind, caring, empathic, the Crystalizer Power Animal you will command is the Gryphon." Sera smiled, and took the Orange Morpher. Angie looked eager. "Angelica, Crystalizer Guardian of Earth. Excitable, Imaginative, Eager, and Willing, your Crystalizer Power Animal is the Eagle, and you are the Green Guardian." Rowan smiled. Angie eagerly took the Green Morpher. Rowan turned to Sean. "Sean, Crystalizer Guardian of Starlight. A firm believer in logic, careful, loyal, cunning and fierce, your Crystalizer Power Animal is the Silver Kitsune." He added. Sean took the Silver Morpher, studying it curiously. "Last, but certainly not least, Jessica Chambers, Crystalizer Guardian of Light." Jessica blinked at the mention of her name. Rowan handed her the Gold Morpher. "Stealthy, Intelligent, Creative. Your Crystalizer Power Animal is the Gold Coyote." Rowan finished.
"How do we activate them? Is there a Morphing call?" Sera asked. James smiled. "There is. Once you insert the Crystals into the back of the phones, you say the phrase, 'It's Morphing Time! Crystalizer Guardians, Power Up!'' He explained. "And once you Morph for the first time, everything you need to know about being a Ranger will be ingrained into your cellular makeup." Emily added. Sera tilted her head. "Because of the Morphing Grid." She said. Emily blinked rapidly. "Well, yes, actually." Emily replied, looking baffled. Sera laughed. "Did you forget mine and JJ's dad is Tommy Oliver himself? The greatest Ranger in history?" She reminded Emily gently, smiling slightly. Emily blushed, and cleared her throat. Everyone's chatter was cut short when an alarm blared, and the candles lining the walls began flashing intermittently. Sera covered her ears. "What the hell?!" She demanded. Rowan tapped his staff against the ground, and the screen came to life once more.
Fairies, Druids, Kitsunes and all other creatures were running in terror. Shadowy creatures with glowing purple eyes, and humanoid bodies were attacking, firing purple energy blasts from their spears. Rowan narrowed his eyes. "Just great. Shadowlings." He muttered. He cleared his throat. "Likely the leaders of the group would be Kenos and Skia." Rowan added. He snapped his fingers, and images on the screen appeared of the man and woman who had killed Emily and James's crew. "Both are incredibly powerful, so be careful." Rowan stressed. JJ nodded. "Of course. Crystalizer Guardians, let's do this!" He exclaimed. "Right!" The group declared as one. Emily and James, as well as Rowan, watched with proud smiles. "Alright, your first mission starts now!" Rowan declared, tapping his staff, and teleporting the group to where the attack was.
"Shadowlings! Stop where you are!" JJ declared, running over to step in front of a group of frightened fairies. The Shadowlings split into different groups, and began attacking the teens. Despite being made of darkness, JJ was surprised when his fist connected to one of the soldier's faces. "What the hell?!" He wondered, before shaking his head, and fighting off his group. He turned to the civilians. "Go! Run!" He shouted, picking up a little kitsune girl, and handing her to the mother. They took off as he dissolved the last five remaining Shadowlings of his group. JJ panted, and rubbed his wrists. A little ways away, Sera was flipping all over the place to avoid being hit by the purple energy blasts of the Shadowlings' staffs. She grabbed one of the weapons, and used it against the Shadowlings, vaporizing them into nothingness with ease. Sera grinned. "This is fun!" She decided.
Sean yelped in surprise as a Shadowling knocked him back, and he fell on his ass, grunting in pain. "Cheap shot!" He snapped, making the Shadowling vanish with a rather hard roundhouse kick, and punching another one in the face as it too vanished. He came away victorious after about ten minutes, grinning. Angie was punching and kicking the Shadowlings in the face like there was no tomorrow. She took off her heel, and shoved the spike into a Shadowling's purple eye, causing it to roar in anger, and disintegrate. She laughed, putting her heel back on. She yelped as she was hit in the chest, stumbling back some, but managed to stay on her feet, unlike what had happened with Sean. "This is amazing!" She declared, punching another Shadowling into oblivion. Again, just like with JJ, Sera, and Sean, she too had finished off her group.
Last but not least, Jessica was throwing rocks at the Shadowlings, beaning each and everyone of them in between the eyes. She gulped when she ran out of rocks. "Oh fuck." She backed away slowly. She then narrowed her eyes, and flung her fist out where a Shadowling was going to attack her, causing the shadowy soldier to reel back in shock, before vanishing. "Ha!" Jessica grinned, surprised, before turning around to kick yet another Shadowling. She grinned, fighting them off with ease. Once the Shadowlings were all taken care of, and the magical creatures had escaped to safety, the teens regrouped, and looked around. "Well, that was easier than I thought it'd be." JJ mused, tilting his head as he looked around cautiously. As if to prove him wrong, the group was knocked down by a powerful energy blast. JJ yelled out in shock as he landed on his ass. "Me and my big mouth!" He whined.
The teens pushed themselves off the ground, and turned around to see a ferocious looking monster. The monster had bright purple skin, and glowing blue eyes. It was themed after a bull. "ON BEHALF OF MY MASTERS, I WILL CRUSH YOU! I AM MINOTAUR BATTLER!" He roared in an earth shaking voice. JJ grinned. "Alright, is everyone ready?" He called, taking out his Crystalizer Morpher. "READY!" Sera, Sean, Angie, and Jessica declared, taking out their own Crystalizer Morphers. "IT'S MORPHING TIME! CRYSTALIZER GUARDIANS, POWER UP!" The team roared as one, after inserting their Crystals into the Morphers, as a swirling void of energy surrounded the team.
~Cue Five Way Morphing Sequence~
The team stood in a brilliant supernova, surrounded by stars and energy. Five stars floated down to their respective Rangers, shining bright enough to blind someone.
The Purple Lightning Crystalizer Star endowed JJ with an enormous amount of energy, as a swirl enveloped him. Seconds later, JJ was standing in a purple suit, with a helmet shaped like a Dragon's head. A symbol emblazoned on his chest had a five pointed star. "GUARDIAN OF LIGHTNING! CRYSTALIZER PURPLE!" JJ exulted, posing. He had a purple dragon's tail coming from the back of the suit.
The Orange Air Crystalizer Star empowered Sera, causing her suit to form around her, and her helmet was patterned after a Gryphon's head. On her chest was a four pointed star. "GUARDIAN OF AIR! CRYSTALIZER ORANGE!" Sera cheered, posing as well. Her suit had a small orange skirt that went down to her thigh, and her gloves and boots were white, like JJ's. Her suit had orange wings, and a Gryphon tail.
The Green Earth Crystalizer Star bestowed its energy onto Angie, giving her a bright green suit, with a three pointed star on her chest, and she had the same skirt as Sera did, just green instead of orange. Her helmet was themed after her Eagle. As well as her gloves and boots being white, her helmet had sculpted lips like the others. "GUARDIAN OF EARTH! CRYSTALIZER GREEN!" Angie yelled, sliding into a stance easily. She had sharp talons on the tips of her gloved fingers, just like everyone else, as well as a green Eagle tail on the back of her suit, and finally, she had sharp green wings as well.
The Silver Starlight Crystalizer Star imbued Sean with its energy, casting a silver glow as Sean's silver suit materialized around him. His helmet was themed after the Kitsune, and his gloves and boots were white. Amazingly, he had a silver tail sprouting from the back of his Ranger suit. "GUARDIAN OF STARLIGHT! CRYSTALIZER SILVER!" He roared happily. The star on his chest had two sharp points.
Last but not least, the Gold Light Crystalizer Star gave Jessica all the strength and power it had, forming her Ranger suit. Jessica admired her golden outfit, and the star on her chest had one point. "GUARDIAN OF LIGHT! CRYSTALIZER GOLD!" She shouted, posing. She had a Coyote tail, and sharp claws on her fingers that the others had. She grinned under her helmet.
~End Five Way Morphing Sequence~
"It's Our Duty to Protect The Worlds! POWER RANGERS: CRYSTALIZER GUARDIANS!" The five new Power Rangers declared as one, causing a massive explosion to ensue behind the team. JJ grinned. "Yes!" He cheered, and the team rushed the Minotaur Battler.
The Minotaur Battler roared, and swatted JJ away with a large fist to the chest, causing the Dragon Ranger to stumble back slightly. "Rangers!" Rowan's voice sounded through their helmets. "Along with your suits, you also have new weapons!" He declared. "Meet your Crystalizer Swords!" With a flash of silver light at each Ranger's hip, short swords with silver hilts appeared in scabbards attached to their suits. JJ pulled out his sword, examining it curiously. "WE'RE IN THE MIDDLE OF A BATTLE!" The Minotaur Battler roared angrily, firing eye beams at them again and again. JJ used his sword to deflect and slice through each beam. JJ grinned under his helmet. "Awesome!" He declared eagerly. Each of the Rangers rushed forward, attacking him with the swords, causing sparks to fly on the monster's skin. He roared in pain, trying to bat everyone away, but with no luck this time.
He roared again. "FOR MY MASTERS, I WILL DESTROY YOU!" He charged the Rangers, running through Sera, Sean, Angie, and Jessie with ease. JJ yelped, before grabbing the bull by the horns. "We're going to destroy you! Once and for all!" He shouted, zapping the Minotaur with purple lightning. The monster roared in anger, stumbling back. Jessie, Sean, Angie, and Jessie stood next to their leader. "Rangers! Insert your Crystals into the slot in the swords!" Emily sounded over their suit's comms system. "RIGHT!" The team yelled as one, doing just that. As soon as all the Crystals were in the slots, the swords glowed with each Ranger's respective color. JJ grinned underneath his helmet. "Alright Rangers, let's finish this, once and for all!" He shouted, drawing two fingers across his sword. "QUINTUPLE ELEMENT FINISH!" The Rangers yelled together, as they fired the elemental beams at the Minotaur Battler, who screamed in pain, and exploded. "Yes!" JJ cheered, as he and the others started celebrating. "Crystalizer Guardians, The Worlds Are Saved!" JJ pumped his fist.
The Rangers were teleported back to Rowan's Base. Rowan smiled. "Well done Rangers, that was amazing." He congratulated. Emily beamed. "That was exciting to watch." The archeologist added. James clapped. "Wonderful first battle!" He finished. JJ and the team DeMorphed. "What a rush!" JJ commented, stretching, and yawning softly. Sera tilted her head. "So, what happens now?" She asked. "Now, you Rangers will continue protecting Kosmima, until the Druidons are defeated." Rowan said. "And we'll teach you about this world, and your powers." Emily added. Sean looked hesitant. "We were just lucky today." He murmured. James shook his head. "You all did amazing." He assured. "Are you sure?" Angie tilted his head. Rowan nodded. "Yes. We've made the right decision. Five right decisions." He said. Emily smiled. "And I, for one, am incredibly happy. All my theories were right." She said softly. JJ yawned, and hugged his sister. "Right, you humans need to sleep. I will see you tomorrow." Rowan smiled.
He tapped his staff against the floor, and James, Emily, and the new Ranger teens were sent back to Ayona Cove High School's library. JJ stumbled from the teleportation. "That's gonna take some getting used to." He decided. He looked at Emily and James. "So, what happens now?" He asked. "For now, you all go home, and we'll see you tomorrow." James replied. Emily nodded, smiling. "You all need your rest. You have long battles ahead of you." She added. JJ nodded. "See you tomorrow." He waved. With that, Sera and JJ, as well as Sean, Angie, and Jessica, walked out of the library, chatting amongst themselves happily, before heading their separate ways. Emily looked at James, worried. "Don't worry. They can handle this fight." James said firmly. Emily sighed, and nodded. "You're right. We should head home as well." She murmured. The two adults went their separate ways as well.
~Druidon Castle, Shadow Realm~
We see an ancient, massive castle, looming with eleven large towers. There were windows all over, and it was pure, pitch black. Kenos's eye twitched, and he scoffed. "So those new Guardians got lucky. It was only one Battler." He decided, watching from the scrying bowl. He looked over at his sister. Torches lined the interior wall, and they had black flames. There was a small hum, and nearby, and the alien dog tilted his head. "Kenos, you should not underestimate them." He warned. Kenos rolled his eyes. "Oh shut up, Claydor." He snapped slightly. Claydor shrugged, and went back to his sculpting. Skia shook her head. "Men. Anyways, now that our first plan has failed, we need to think of something. Mother will not be happy when she returns, and finds that there are new Guardians." Skia warned. Kenos grinned maliciously when he saw something in his book. "This should do it!"He began laughing maniacally. "Be on your guard, Crystalizer Guardians! NEXT TIME, YOU WILL FALL!" He declared, looking at the page in his book as he kept laughing. Skia watched her brother curiously, and Claydor kept sculpting in the background, as Kenos's laughter filled the castle.
