This is my first story from a long time ago, but please review, I'd like to see people's feedback and opinions on how it went for its time. Enjoy this blast from my embarrassing past!
Battle began, said a Watchdog in a Referee outfit standing on the side of the battlefield,watching the battle. The battle started. "LEAF STORM" shouted a mysterious figure as leaves surrounded him and shot at two others. "FIRE BLAST" shouted another as fire blasted out of his mouth. "WOOD HAMMER shouted the last one as his tail grew bigger. When the moves collided they made a BIG explosion. "You've gotten better," said the second figure. "So are you"said the first with a cocky smile. "You're both trash" interrupted the third as he used to play rough. "Time to end this" said the second after he and the first figure had dodged the attack. "Gladly"replied the first. "That's the right time to end this," said third with a smile. "SOLAR BEAM" said the First. "BLAST BURN" said Second. "SHADOW BALL" said Third. BOOM went to the explosion. The battle was over.
Chapter 1-The Beginning
"Retsu wake up". A serperior was talking to a snivy with spiky green hair. "WAKE UP! screamed the serpent." AGH!" screamed the snivy. "Mom why did you wake me up" said Retsuko the snivy. "You're going to be late to get your first pokemon," said Retsuko's mom. "Whatever I'm going back to sleep" said Retsuko. Suddenly a piplup came into the room wearing skiing bear pajamas. It was Retsuko's little brother Ocea. "Big bro can you just wake up already" said Ocea. " fine" replied Retsuko in a groggy voice. "The nerve of his' ' said his mom grumpily. "You're going to be late if you don't hurry up" said Ocea to Retsuko. "Yeah you're right. said Retsuko drowsily. "Hey mom yelled Retsuko to his mom halfway down the stairs' '. "Can I play a song?" he asked. "Yeah" she replied. So he ran downstairs and asked Alexa to play his favorite song, "Believer" by Imagine Dragonites. Then he went to the kitchen, ate a bagel, ran upstairs, brushed his teeth, and hair and then put on his hoodie. "Ocea!" He called out to his little brother at the doorway 15 minutes later. "Coming!" said Ocea as he ran to the door. "Let's go" said Retsuko.
At School
Retsuko went to the 7th grade line while Ocea went to the 5th grade line. There Retsuko saw Kyu and the rest of their friends Shinobi the marshtomp and chaos waiting for him. "Hey guys" he greeted them. "Did you hear about the new girl?" asked Shinobi. "No I didn't why" asked Retsuko. "The rest of the boys think that she is really cute". "Even the ones with girlfriends" said Shinobi "Dang, that's just plain wrong" said Kyu. "I think that's her over there," said Shinobi. Retsuko, Kyu and the others looked over to where Shinobi was pointing. "Dang she is kinda cute" said Izuma. "She's talking to Sam," said Retsuko. yeah let's go. They were talking about normal girl stuff like the celebrities of Pokemon Pop Magazine . "Soon I'm going to be a super famous pop star" exclaimed Samantha. "Like that's really gonna happen ever" said Retsuko rudely. "Shut up Bot I'm better than you and you know it Retsu" said Samantha rudely. "You shut up, it isn't Retsu's fault that he's a pc player," said Kyu. "Does it really matter?" said Shinobi who had just walked over to them. "YES!" exclaimed Retsuko and Samantha in unison. Suddenly Koharu the new girl exclaimed... "Alright what's going on!" "Oh sorry Koharu I forgot". Guys this is Koharu the Eevee she's new here" said Samantha. " Koharu these are my friends from the Pokemon Battle Club". This is Shinobi the Marshtomp, Izuma the Pikachu,Hitoma the Charmander,Kyu the Mimikyu and Basaru the Bulbasaur." "Wait who is he?" said Koharu, pointing at Retsuko. "Oh yeah this is Retsuko the Snivy". "Oh you two must be great friends, you know each other so well,''. She replied. "No, not really" replied Retsuko. She's like a sister I never wanted. " Retsu is a pain in the neck," said Samantha. "Whatever," said Retsuko. Suddenly the school bell rang. The classes started walking inside the building. "Let's just go inside," said Shinobi. "Yeah" said Hitoma. So they joined their class and went inside the building.
Chapter 2-Training
Once they got inside the room to sit down, Retsuko and Kyu sat at the table with Hitoma the charmander,Shinobi the Marshstomp and Nepuchun the Vaporeon. Their other friends sat at the table beside them Samantha, Izuma and Kero the froakie. "Hey Kero,Hey Nepu '' said Retsuko as he got to the table. "Hey man" replied Kero. "Shut up I'm trying to read '' said Nepuchun staring at his Pokepad. "Nepu are you still reading Percy Jackson '' asked Kyu. "Yes it's interesting" said Nepuchun and stopped calling me Nepu '' he answered. We don't want to say Nepuchun all the time, it's too long, said Retsuko. Yeah, Retsu's nickname is Retsu, said Shinobi. Whatever said Nepuchun. Meanwhile the Koharu was having trouble finding a seat. "Lets see should I sit here or over here,"she said. "Koharu over here" said Samantha waving to her. "Okay" replied Koharu. She ran over and sat down next to Samantha. "So are you and Retsuko an item" whispered Koharu to Samantha "WHAT HECKS NAW '' screamed Samantha blushing. "Fine,but your reaction says otherwise '' said Koharu smirking. "So really do you like him? '' asked Koharu. "Honestly no not really he's a great guy and he's really smart,but he's not my type" said samantha. "You're talking to the guy who you had a huge crush on in fourth grade" said Retsuko. Jerk grumbled Samantha. Do you like him? asked Koharu. She jumped at the question and blushed "no of course not" she screamed Samantha I like somebody else she said. Who asked Koharu. "that is classified information" said Samantha. Let's stop talking about me, Let's talk about you, said samantha. "What else do you do for fun.'''Well I like to draw," said Koharu. "Me too" exclaimed Samantha. But I want to be a Performer. "Nice we could practice together" said Koharu. "Wait you want to perform too? '' asked samantha. "Yeah let's practice at lunch, `` said Koharu. "Sorry but I'm watching Retsu's battle with Kyu ''. "Cool a battle i wanna watch too" exclaimed Koharu. "Sure" said Samantha. "Retsu and his group are always training together, " said Samantha. "The more the merrier," said Retsuko happily. "Yay" exclaimed Koharu. "You are so nosy,'' Retsu grumbled samantha. At recess everyone went to the back of the playground to train. Samantha and Koharu sat down at the table to watch the battle. Izuma walked up to them. "So you're gonna watch the battle," he said. "Oh yeah" said koharu. "Are YOU going to watch Retsu and Kyu's battle?" asked samantha. "Yes" said Izuma as he sat down. Prepare to get stunned" said Izuma. "Why?" asked Koharu. "Because Retsu and kyu's are two of the strongest in the school,'' said Samantha. "Right" said Izuma and he floated away to join Nepuchun and Basaru at the other bench. "Ready Kyu" asked Retsu. "ready," said Kyu. "I'll judge," said Shinobi. "I thought that you wanted to battle Kyu," said Retsuko. "Nope, I want to watch. I think this will be interesting," replied Shinobi. "Samantha started the battle," said Retsuko. "Battle begins," said Samantha. "Leaf tackle" said Retsuko as a storm of leaves surrounded him. "WHAT is that" screamed Koharu. "It's a move Retsu created to practice storing power and combining moves". "It became his signature move ever since then," said Nepuchun. The battle continued. It was a direct hit on Kyu. "Scary face" said Kyu as he made the scariest face he could make."You really think I didn't expect that" as Retsuko countered it by using leaf storm to cover his eyes "I watched the movie IT just to counter that move". "Damn it, he's terrified of horror movies," said Kyu in his head. "Alright then shadow ball" said Kyu. It hit Retsuko in his face. A cloud of dust formed."Leaf tackle" yelled retsuko as he jumped up with a storm of leaves surrounding him. Wood hammer said kyu as he enlarged his tail and slammed it down on Retsuko. "AWK" groaned retsuko as he got hit in the face by his wooden tail. Ugh said retsuko as he struggled to his feet. "Anything to say now retsu" asked kyu. Yeah he replied, DRAGON TAIL! he screamed. As he smacked kyu in the stomach. Ahhh screamed kyu as he slid to the other end of the battlefield. I didn't want to do this but you made me say kyu. Kyu took out his shadow hand and on the arm there was a z ring. He did the pose for the mimikyu Z move. Let Snuggle Forever he yelled as the Z energy surrounded him and he ran at retsuko with amazing speed, jumped and caught him in his cloth. Retsuna pulled out his Z Ring and did the pose for the move and used the grass type Z move bloom doom. Kyu jumped away from retsu and the explosion from the was so powerful that they both got hit. When the dust cleared it showed that Retsuna and Kyu were both knocked out.
Chapter 3- After school
After school the gang went to their after school club,THE BATTLE CLUB there they trained in the gym section. I have a question. How is Nepu the only one who evolved out of all of us he asked. Well I can't evolve, said kyu. And I have an everstone that was passed down in my family for generations, said I think all of us are at least level 16, Tachi said. I think the others are just weak whispered Kyu in the Retsuko ear. Retsuko burst out laughing. Why are you laughing? asked Tachi. K-kyu that is so funny said Retsuko between laughs. Huh replied Neputchun oh it doesn't matter, said Kyu trying to change the subject. Okay so do you guys wanna go to the skate park. Yeah sure replied Kyu. They grabbed their boards and skated to the do you skate without legs? asked Tachi. I ask questions and I don't answer them, replied Kyu. Well that's dark, Tachi commented. Yes yes it is like me, replied Kyu. Nice one man replied Retusko as he fist bumped him almost falling off his skateboard.(15 minutes after the skate park).Guys i'm going home said Retsuko. Okay bye said the group. See ya tomorrow said retsuko.
At Retsuko's House
Mom,Dad, I'm home said Retsuko as he entered his house. Hi jellybean said his mother. Where are Ocea and Alea asked Retsu. Upstairs playing SAO replied to his mother. Okay then where's dad said Retsuko. Downstairs in the battlefield replied his mom. I'm amazed that we could fit a whole Gym Battle field on the ground living room in our basement. Okay i'll go train with him later he said going up the stairs. Ok yelled retsuko's mom. When he got to their room he saw his brother and sister on two of the 3 laptops on the long table. Hey big bro said Ocea barely looking at Retsko and paying more attention to the video game. HI BROO! She screamed as she jumped on him. Ocea and Alea were twin and complete opposites. Alea was more excited about everything and Ocea was the smart and quiet type but quiet type. Can I play the retsuko too? Sure, just get the other laptop, we'll wait. Okay replied retsko. He got up and grabbed his laptop, turned it on and put in the code. Then he logged on to Sword Art Online. After an hour or two retsu and his siblings were getting tired. Let's go to bed said Retsuko.
Chapter 4 -The next day
The next day Retsuko and Absukyu were eating lunch when another Pokemon came up to them. It was basaru. "I challenge you to a battle" said basaru pointing with his fingers. "Why is Retsuko naturally stronger than you when it comes to moves like solar beams?" said Absukyu? "Well at least i've known him long enough to know that he never declines a battle challenge" said basaru in a rude tone. "Don't remind me," said Retsuko asked kyu. "Can we still battle?"asked basaru? "Not yet he's eating the chips, and you know he can't waste a single chip" said Absukyu. "Yea i'll battle when I'm finished da chipz" siad retsuko!
After Retsuko finished da chipz he went outside to the battlefield with Absukyu because it was a free period. He saw basaru at the battle field waiting for him. Are You ready to retsuko? he asked. Yeah I am , he replied. Let's do this he replied with a grin on his face. I'll let you go first said basaru. Ok replied Retsuko. Wait yelled a voice. Huh said retsuko. The Pokemon who said it was running towards them. Wait is who I think is called basaru. Yeah it's blaze said retsuko excitedly. Wait a second blaze you're going too fast yelled basaru. It was too late because the blaze had crashed into retsuko and basaru. Really man said retsuko you could have killed us. No,I couldn't Retsuko replied. I'm just joking with ya said retsuko. What did you mean when you yelled wait asked basaru. Oh yeah replied blaze. Since we haven't battled in a whole 2 weeks lets battle again. Oh hecks yeah replied retsuko. I'm getting all fired up, said blaze. Me too yelled retsuko. Me too yelled blaze. Me too , can we just get this over with interrupted basaru. Kay replied retsuko. At the battlefield retsuko and blaze were on the two opposite sides of the battle field. Let's begin, said retsuko.
