It was dark, Gohan felt his energy drastically drop..but this wasn't exhaustion it was death..he was frightful not knowing what will happen but then he felt peace, it was time to go.

The last thing Gohan heard before his lights went out was a heartbreaking cry of Trunks calling out to him in dispair and then everything seemed to have disappeared.

Gohan then opened his eyes first it was difficult but seconds later he regained all of his strength. Gohan looked around he was in a blank white area, he was alone and tried to find Trunks.

"Trunks?" Gohan called out but he could only hear his echo. He looked at both his hands, every injury was gone including his handicap of having only one arm.

"I died.." Gohan said saddened, "I can't go back to help Trunks" and mournfully watched the portal to the mortal plane move further away until it disappeared.

There has to be a way to become stronger in the afterlife he can find a way to do so, maybe ask the Namekians to wish him back before it's too late to save everyone he left behind.

" Well I suppose I can't let my friends at other world wait for me any longer" Gohan said trying not to lose that hope he has been clinging on ever since he was a child.

Gohan walked towards the bright light.

His actions on Earth has been put on a scale as he was a spirit cloud checking in at the soul station checkpoint of King Yema.

Because of heroic deeds he could proceed going to the afterlife keeping his body. He then landed on a green grass field, He has reached the after life. He possessed the knowledge about what spirits who kept their bodies can or aren't allowed to do, any violation of these rules can still send you to hell.

There were trees, the sky had an eternal sun,

It was a beautiful green valley, words couldn't describe how beautiful it was. Gohan breathed in and the Heart virus was no longer in his body, now with one problem out of the way he can train hard to overthrow Cell.

Gohan clenched his fists, the grass close to his feet burned away on the spot as he increased his power, electricity adorned him and let out a ferocious aura of a golden inferno,

Gohan's heart started to beat in his throat and no longer felt lost, mixed with all kinds of positive emotion surges through his mind.

he's even stronger than Cell now, no he's ten times stronger. The heart virus prevented him from letting his power reach its peak.

Gohan looked at the temple of the check in station.

All he need to do now is ask if they can send him back for 24 hours and also put his burdened soul at ease, he must know what happens to Trunks.

Hopefully he didn't try to avenge his death instead of leave with the time machine. Other spirits noticed bright lights coming from the distance but only one spirit recognised that light and followed it.

"Gohan?" A voice called out to him.

Gohan gasped freezing in place when he recognise her spirts Ki, he couldn't turn around fearing she might see him cry.

Erasa waited until he turned around but only his shoulders shook she took some steps back letting him face her whenever he's ready.

Carefully he did turn around, he couldn't say a word.. it was her.. the love of his life.

"Erasa" Gohan said and couldn't hold back his tears anymore.

She was happy to see him but her eyes shows she's distraught. His Halo inches above his spikes told her everything.

He lost the battle against the androids.

Erasa managed to smile comfortingly held her arms towards him as permission to hold him.

Even though she doesn't know what happened back on Earth she was still proud of him.

Gohan grabbed on to her and she held him in response. They had a quiet reunion, they said nothing and continue to hold each other.

Gohan wanted to tell her how he feels, that he want nothing more than be with her forever.

"I'm so happy to see you" Erasa said using both of her hands to wipe his face.

"I'm sorry." Gohan said barely above a whisper,

"Erasa.. I couldn't protect you, " Gohan said shaking,

"No Gohan, It was my fault I left the hideout to confront them" Erasa said.

"But why? You were safe there" Gohan said upset and more tears fell down.

"I felt so lost without you, I needed you with us" Gohan mentioned.

Erasa cupped his face to make him look at her,

"There was nothing I wanted more than escape to the present with you," Erasa said.

"But If I didn't try stop those androids then they would have killed all of you" Erasa said.

"I did everything to secure our victory, even If I won't stay alive long enough to set our world free" Erasa mentioned,

"I just hope it wasn't invain Erasa," Gohan said, "Trunks is still alive but Father is dying.."

"It's not in vain," Erasa said holding his shoulders, "Trunks is resilient and he will find a way to defeat these monsters"

"You just got to have faith in him" Erasa urged,

" In the meantime just rest.. you've fought for so long and I know Trunks will succeed." Erasa said trying to calm his spirit down.

Gohan moved her to the side, "I can't rest, I need to know what happened"

"Trunks is all alone out there, Father is completely defenceless and I need to save them" Gohan said.

"But what can we do?" Erasa said feeling powerless at the moment.

"I will need to ask the Supreme Court for help"

"Maybe Trunks can be teleported here, Dad can recover, I'll help Trunks getting stronger and can save the remaining survivors from this hellhole" Gohan said.

Erasa came closer and placed a hand on his shoulder, Maybe I can help too" Erasa said.

"Good Spirits can come back for one day, that's what I was told" Erasa said.

"I can make another shut down device, then you can request a day to come back and use it against that android" Erasa said,

"If anything else fails" Erasa added

" There is a new android that can't be shut down. The creature is called Cell and I died protecting Trunks from it" Gohan said, he hated himself for being so weak during his final battle.

and even if there is a shutdown device for that he wouldn't allow Erasa to put herself on the frontline again.

"I can't stay here any longer, I need to do something now" Gohan said anxious. Trunks is in danger and won't be able to think rationally until he's safe.

He left Erasa behind but she flied after him.

Maybe together they can get the Supreme Court to do them a noble favour.
