The night is dark and full of terrors, but don't be fooled by the light. In it there are just as many terrors, just hiding in plain sight.

The Sun is bright, but is also blinding. I much prefer the Moon's light. It may not be as strong but it is gentle and its shadows warn of ones plight.

Heed night's warning and be afraid because in this world dwell dangers that can also come at day.

Being fearless is not the same as being brave, and the light blinds you to dangers that won't always stay at bay. There are real monsters, I should say, as I am one of those you ought to slay.

Once it was not true, once I was but a fearless guy. But the world instilled fear upon me when it made me confront that witch hides from sight.

At first I wasn't scared, beauty can also blind. So the tall fair stranger had no real need to hide. That is until I saw its blood-red eyes.

And the blond said to me, "No need to run, delicuous prey. Your blood will anyway be mine". But the fear was in me and run I did, or tried.

"This will be fun" said the monster in full light.

That was the day death claimed me away. But I was still condemned to be in death awake.
