He's not a prince
Yuki's fan club wouldn't have it. They didn't appreciate what anyone would say if their prince like hero. A perfect person they saw he supposedly was. Just hearing the new girl saying he wasn't a prince really irked the female fan club.
"I'll say it again, he's not a prince." Machi said with a straight face.
She didn't appreciate the girls coming up to her face. Not saying another word, or doing anything they just kept harassing her. Few students watched as it was nothing for them. The fangirls were hideous all when it came to Yuki.
He would hear of the small confrontation between the girls. A bit curious he would go up to Machi.
Entering the room where the student council office was, Yuki would come face to face with her. Sharing stares at each other not a word was said. She was keeping herself busy with few colorful markers that were laid out on the huge table.
"Hi, are you doing okay, Kuragi-san?"
As usual her reply was silent. He would just keep himself busy with a ton of paperwork. That piled up and hadn't been done by Machi. Knowing she was a little distant, he would just finish up the paperwork himself.
The others joined along. Doing what was supposedly done too. Machi would share few stares with Yuki. Sensing her peering eyes he would look back. He was just finishing the final paper work signing it.
"It's been a day today." Kakeru grabbed onto Yuki's arms.
The loud flirty friend was trying to take Yuki out of the room. His sister watched with a bit of tension. Yuki takes notice pushing Kakeru away from him. Trying to come up with an excuse. He really didn't want to go anywhere with him.
Machi was done with her student council duties passing by two of the female fans of the Yuki Sohma fan club. They decide to stop her pinning her onto the wall. She doesn't do anything except her nonsense coming out of their mouths.
"Stay away from Yuki-senpai!" A freshmen fangirl poked her shoulder.
The junior girl just slaps Machi's arms. Being slapped in her arms was a major reminder of her mother. Not being properly perfect in her eyes. As she can tell the girls see Yuki as a perfect man. Or a dream man that can do no wrong, or has no flaws.
"He belongs to us!"
The girls continued trying to fight with her. She still didn't do a thing. Trying to find the right words to have the stupid girls back away from her. 'You see perfection in him. I don't see that whatsoever!'
Those were the words she wanted to say. So bad of the one she's getting to know too, during their times together, Yuki Sohma. Her older half brother already liking him wasn't too much for her to think of.
Back at home, alone she laid down on her messy bed. Thinking of what else to say to the fangirls. Their very troublesome as she knows fully well. Not the type to involve with those kinds of girls.
Her bell rings. She jumps off the bed suddenly. Wasn't expecting anyone though she answers the door.
"Hi, Kuragi-san."
Her eyes gaped at the person facing her.
Why would he come all the way here?
"Why?"
She wandered not fully opening the door. Yuki sighed a bit. He taps on his chin considering what to say to her.
"You can see right through me."
Those were the only words that comes out of his mouth. Peeking her head out sharing a long gaze with him. He backs away. Both of his hands top of his head not making the young girl uncomfortable.
"I'll stay here. So we can talk." He shows her a pleasing smile.
"Why?"
"I have bought something for you."
Machi was bemused. Did he have something for her? Why though? She didn't ask for anything from him. Her eyebrows raised when giving him a stare.
"Please take it. I'll leave it by the door."
Yuki does so. Taking his leave with a small wave at her.
Once he's gone she fully opens her door. She hears footsteps leaving the floor to the staircase. What was in her hand was a small bag. Opening the bag she finds a few leaves.
"Oh. Like the first one he's given me."
Machi smells the leaves. The smell of the leaves was new to her. The one that was given to her by Yuki had an unusual smell too.
"Why?"
Those were the only thoughts in mind. The new leaves were set up anywhere in her apartment.
