Hey! This is just a random oneshot I made out of pure boredom. Just to let you know when it goes to slanted, it won't let me separate the sections of different parts of Sideswipes and Sunstreakers part. I really apologize and I tried to change it but it just won't work. I'm really tired too and I don't want to cry from from stress tonight haha. I hope you understand and it won't be much trouble to read the slanted parts and know when the time changes.
"Yo, Sides!" Jazz yelled over the blaring music, sliding into the seat next to Sideswipe.
That night was a celebration for winning against the Decepticons once more. It was a huge one too. There was high grade, energon goodies, a disco above the dance floor, and a DJ station.
Jazz was sort of disappointed to not be the DJ, but he quickly got over it as he realized he could converse and dance with others.
Sideswipe turned to Jazz as he quickly dismissed himself from the conversation he was having with Bumblebee. Sideswipe himself looked a bit tipsy, a cube of high grade in his servo.
"Ya?!" Sideswipe answered back, his over bright optics focusing on Jazz, his helm tilted a bit.
"Wanna play truth or dare?!"
"What's that?!"
"A human game that I found! It's a game where you ask someone truth or dare and they pick one! If they pick truth you get to ask them a question and they have to answer truthfully! If they pick dare, you can dare them to go to something crazy or embarrassing and they can't say no!"
Jazz explained to Sideswipe who now had a smirk on his handsome features.
"Of course I want to play!" Sideswipe laughed, standing up with Jazz. They both walked to where there were a few other bots.
The highest ranking officer was Jazz, of course. There was also Ironhide and his sparkmate, Chromia. Arcee was there too and conversing with Elita-One. It seems Bumblebee and Cliffjumper made it over here as well with them as they took a seat. They probably heard Jazz asking him and decided to join. Inferno was just relaxing in the seat next to Chromia and conversing with her. Ratchet, surprisingly, was there too with Hoist. Trailbreaker, Mirage, and Hound were the other ones, but other than that, that was all the Cybertronians.
Sideswipe took a seat next to Hound and Jazz sat on the table in between Inferno and Chromia. The mechs and femmes there quickly quieted down, as much as they could with the music anyways.
"Alright mechs and femmes, ya' all know how ta' play?" Jazz questioned, leaning back on the table with his servos.
"Yep, course weh' do." Ironhide snorted. The rest either nodded or put their..thumbs..? Up.
"Alrighty then! Ah'll go first." Jazz grinned, scanning the group, humming in thought.
"Mirage, truth or dare?" The prankster finally asked.
"Hm.." Mirage tilted his helm before a small smirk came over his face.
"Dare." A whisle came from Hound.
"Already going big, Mirage? How brave!" Hound laughed. The others joined in quickly as Mirage shook his helm at them all.
"Okay Mirage, uhh.." Jazz bit his lip as he thought long and hard before he jumped up.
"Got it! Mirage, I dare you to sing everything you say until your next turn!" Chromia burst out laughing, and Hoist spit out his drink and he wheezed.
Mirage sighed and he threw his helm back in embarrassment. He nodded though and accepted the dare.
"Very well~" Mirage mumbled in his singing voice. It was quite high pitched and very pleasant to hear. Hound smiled up at Mirage and softly kissed his cheek and laughed.
"Your singing voice isn't that bad, love!" Hound chuckled, giving Mirage a side hug."
Mirage looked around and his optics landed on Ratchet.
"Ratchet, truth or dare~?" Mirage asked loud enough for them to hear, but not loud enough for others to hear.
"Truth." Ratchet answered, shrugging.
"Who was your first date~?" Ratchet grinned and chuckled.
"Well, my first date was a femme back in my medic academy. Her destination was Blue-Fix. She was short, navy blue and black, Polyhexian too." Ratchet paused as he thought of what to say next.
"We dated for about 9 earth years before we broke it off. I was the one who broke it off, actually. I had lost feelings for her and we ended up staying as friends. She's actually still online to this day at another base."
"So she's cute?" Trailbreaker asked, interested.
"Don't even try, she's now in another relationship with another femme." Ratchet snorted at the disappointed look on Trailbreakers face plates.
"Don't worry Trailbreaker, someday you'll find love!" Sideswipe encouraged, smiling reassuringly at the slumped mech.
"Alright, alright, my turn!" Ratchet said loudly. His eyes immediately went to Ironhide.
"Hey Ironhide, truth or dare?"
"I'll have ta' go with dare." Ironhide huffed, a small smirk on his face plates, daring Ratchet to do his worst.
"I dare you to..go pour two cubes of high-grade onto Smokescreen over there." Ratchet pointed to Smokescreen who was having a conversation with Bluestreak at a table.
Ironhides face lit up and he immediately grabbed two cubes of high grade. He slowly made his way over to where Smokescreen and Bluestreak were.
Bluestreaks optics went to Ironhide and his mouth burst into a wider smile.
"Ironhide!" Bluestreak chirped in greeting. Smokescreen turned around to face Ironhide with a raised brow.
"Hey Ironhide, what are you doin'?" Smokescreen asked.
"Smokescreen, no hard feelings." Ironhide blurted before he dumped the two cubes of high grade onto Smokescreen who just jerked back in shock.
"Wh-" Bluestreak just stared at Smokescreen and then at Ironhide.
"Why would you do that?!" Bluestreak squeaked.
"Sorry Smokescreen, it was a dare." Ironhide winced and just stood there. Smokescreen just blinked before a surprised laugh made it out of his vents, wiping his face with his servo, but he just ended up smudging the energon.
"It's fine, Mech. I'll just have to go and wash in the wash racks. That was a good one." Ironhide smirked as he realized Smokescreen found it amusing.
"Alright, good orn Smokescreen, Bluestreak!" Ironhide dismissed himself before making his way back to the group who were in hysterics.
"That was a good one!" Cliffjumper wheezed, wiping his optics as if he was crying. Bumblebee nodded beside him.
Ironhide just nodded as he sat back down beside Chromia.
"Hm, Sideswipe!" Ironhide bellowed.
"Yessss?" Sideswipe purred, putting his servos behind his helm.
"Truth or dare?"
"I'd have to go with truth this turn old mech." There was a few chuckles from the group at that comment.
"Was Sunstreaker always as vain as he is?" Everyone hushed at that, giving full attention to Sideswipe as Ironhide asked that question.
"Well, no. Sunny wasn't always as vain as he is now. The frame he has now actually wasn't his own until he was upgraded into his adult frame."
Bumblebee blinked, "Wait, so Sunstreaker didn't look like that when he was younger?"
Sideswipe shook his helm, "Nope! Sunny actually had a spare frame. That spare frame was very ugly. It was brown, dark brown, and sorta rusty. And everyone knows that you can't paint a sparklings or younglings frame when their so young."
Elita-One hummed, "Why didn't he have a frame to go with his spark?"
"We're split-sparks, Elita. One of us wasn't planned at all, our creators were only planning on one sparkling, so therefore, one frame. Our childhood was rough enough, but Sunny had gotten bullied and was an out-cast because of it."
Sideswipe suddenly went quiet, his mouth pulled into a tight frown.
"Wait! Why are you doing this! I didn't do anything!" Sunstreaker cried as another mechling dragged him on the pavement, scrapping his frame and making pain sensors go off.
There was about five younglings including the one dragging him. The oldest and strongest was dragging him, quite roughly as well. He was younger than all of these mechlings, weaker too.
"Because! Ugly mechlings like you don't deserve to be here! I bet even your twin hates ya'!" The mechling that was walking behind the mechling that was dragging him said, giving him a kick on the helm.
"No! Sides doesn't hate me!" Sunstreaker yelled, his lower lip wobbling.
The youngling dragging him took a stronger hold on his legs and tossed him into the alleyway. Sunstreaker cried out again as he skidded across the ground before coming to a stop.
"He doesn't? I thought I heard him talking to someone about how annoying and ugly you are!" The grey and blue mechling that had once been dragging him said, laughing at how defenceless he looked.
"S..Sides would never do that.." Sunstreaker whispered quietly.
"But he did! And you can't do anything about it!" Sunstreaker grunted as one of them kicked his right side with their foot. That was sure to leave a dent.
His HUB flashed a warning of multiple scratches and dents on his legs, side, and his whole back. Like he didn't know that.
"Sides would never abandon me and he would never say that!" Sunstreaker hissed.
The younglings just laughed at his misery and continued yelling insults right in his face and if he tried to get up, they would just kick him back down.
"Ugly!"
"Worthless!"
"Annoying!"
"Your twin doesn't actually like you!"
Sunstreaker whimpered in sadness and curled up on himself, covering his audio fins to block them out.
Why were they saying that stuff? Was he actually ugly? Did his twin hate him?
Tears rolled down his cheek plates and the younglings just taunted him for it.
"Hey!" Another voice yelled. It was older, so it wasn't another mechling.
Sunstreaker peeked out of where he was covering his optics with his servos and digits. His vision was blurred his tears but he could make out the red paint job of his twin and the black and gold of his sire.
The younglings who were once taunting him shut up and looked almost fearful of his sire. His sire, after all, was a famous frame designer on Cybertron while his carrier was a famous accessory designer for mechs and femmes.
Sideswipe ran past the mechlings to his twin brother side and shook him.
"Sunny!" Sideswipe cried before Sunstreaker launched himself at his twin and hugged him tightly. He was shaking so much that he could hear his frame trembling. Plating clanging against Sideswipe.
Sideswipe quickly hugged him back to offer his comfort to his twin.
"What did they say? What did they do? Sunny please say something!" Sideswipe keened.
"Sides I'm okay, I swear. Just a few dents and scratches!" Sideswipe just nuzzled his brothers cheek and Sunstreaker did it back.
He felt strong and secure servos wrap around him and his twin, lifting them up and settling them against their chest plates. He peeked up and saw his sire staring down at them with a soft gaze.
His sire tightened his hold on them protectively before walking out of the alleyway with long strides.
People parted ways for him as they saw the almost furious expression on his face-plates.
Sunstreaker sighed as he rested his helm on his sires chest plates, hearing the steady beat of his sires spark. He cuddled closer and he felt his brother do the same.
*
It seemed like he fell offline because when he onlined he was in his berth with his brother right beside him.
He stared up at the ceiling silently as he listened to Sideswipe systems running, the quiet revving of his engin, and his soft vents ticking his mech cables.
The ceiling was sort of boring to look at if you didn't have anything on your mind. But when you had the other mechlings words in your mind, you don't really notice anything else.
He startled when his sires and carriers frames came into view. He turned his helm to look up at them. They stared down at him before his carrier sighed and sat down on the berth.
"Sunstreaker, sweetspark, how are you feeling?" Her calm voice said softly as to not wake Sideswipe. Her servo went up and softly stroked his helm and around where the other mechling had kicked his helm when he was dragged.
Sunstreaker adverted his gaze for a bit, but his carrier and sire were patient. He finally looked back at them with a sad expression.
"Do you still love me despite how I look?" Sunstreaker whispered, gesturing to his brown and boxy frame.
"Oh honey.." His carrier whispered, "Of course we do."
Sunstreaker sniffed as his sire also sat down and took his servo in his larger servo.
"Even if you were a minibot or insecticon.." Sunstreaker and his carrier giggled at that, "..we would still love you as you were."
Sunstreaker beamed up at him creators with a bright smile and nuzzled up into the servo stroking his helm.

After a few orns, it was finally time to get their final upgrades into their adult frames. He and his brother were sitting down at the table and looking at all the frames that they could choose from. Of course, they could add accessories, that's what the datapads were for.
"I think I still wanna go with my red paint job." Sideswipe said, leaning against his brother, arms crossed.
"I don't know what colour I want yet. But I wanna look pretty!"
Sideswipe giggled, "You gonna stay pretty all the time?" Sunstreaker nodded quickly.
"I'm gonna make sure I'm polished and gorgeous all the time!" Sunstreaker declared.
"Oh, oh, oh! Look at this one!" Sideswipe said in awe at the frame on the datapad. It was clearly crafted carefully and it looked wonderful.
"You like that one?" Sunstreaker asked curiously, helm tilted. It was a pretty and fabulous frame. It also looked close to the frame Sideswipe had now, just more older and taller.
"I think this might be the one." Sideswipe whispered as he stared at it.
"Well, transfer it to your datapad and add the details you want!" Sunstreaker grinned, happy his twin found his frame. But he wanted his to be flashy, elegant, something that would get peoples attention, just like his sires.
Sideswipes was more of a racer one. Also flashy but it only looked thin because it was made for speed. He didn't like racing as much as his twin, he wanted to become like sire and create frame designs and be attractive.
He frowned as he took the main datapad as Sideswipe was putting more details onto his adult frame. He swiped through some of them but none of them were good enough.
They both looked up as their carrier came walking in, smiling as she saw them.
"Hey sweetsparks, have you choose your adult frames?" She asked, her emerald green optics looking at Sideswipes datapad.
"Sides has, but I can't find one." Sunstreaker whined, his lips pulled down into a pout. His carrier turned her gaze to his datapad.
"Well, what kind of frame do you want?"
"I want a frame that's elegant, flashy, something that will get other attention as I walk!" Sunstreaker said determinedly, his chest plates puffed up.
His carrier laughed, taking the datapad and shifting through a few. She hummed,
"Some of these frames are good, what about this?" She turned the datapad to Sunstreaker who looked at it with curiosity before he shook his helm.
Carrier looked at him with a confused look. That frame was one of the most beautiful and famous frame she had seen of all the Cybertron. To have someone not want it, primus, it was almost impossible.
She hummed and took out another datapad from her sub space and turned it on. She handed it to him and he looked at it. There was a picture of a blank pronoform on it, and he turned his gaze to his carrier.
His carrier handed him a stylus as well and smiled gently at him.
"How about you design your own if you don't want any that have already been created?" She suggested.
Sunstreaker looked at the datapad before back at his carrier and gave a determined nod. His face plates were set in a very serious pose, and she couldn't help but laugh softly.
He looked at the datapad and quickly started drawing onto the pronoform. One that he would absolutely love and others would too.

They were 3 orns into their adult frames and many people floured over them. The twins had refused a lot of potential court mates. They didn't want any sparkmates, they were fine on their own.
Sideswipe had went and became a famous racer who won a lot of races and got a lot of trophy's. Sunstreaker and his creators always went to watch Sideswipes races.
Sunstreaker had followed in his sires pede steps and become another famous frame designer as well. Though he was a bit more vain than his sire.
His past with cybertronians bullying him had made him more self conscious of himself and not liking others to scratch his paint job at all.
Overall, the twins were very loved now. Sunstreakers bullies had actually tried to court him, but he had also turned them down.
If they couldn't be nice to someone who was not as 'pretty' as them, then they were not worthy of his spark.
*
"Have you heard of the rumour of that 'Megatron' mech, Sunny?" Sideswipe asked, turning his helm to his twin who was at his desk across the room.
Sunstreaker was working on another frame for a couple who was having their first sparkling. He was going to be when the sparkling was born as the creators always wanted the creator of the frame to watch as the sparkling onlined in the frame they had created.
"Of course I heard about it, it's all on the cybernet now." Sunstreaker grunted, scribbling something down.
"If you had to choose, which fraction would you want to be on? Autobot or Decepticon?"
"I have no interest in being part of a war."
Sideswipe pouted at the dismissal of his brother. Sighing, he just rolled over and faced the wall on his side.
"But what happens if we had to choose Sunny?" Sideswipe blurted and he heard Sunstreaker stop sketching. Sunstreaker huffed.
"If I had to choose, I would probably go with Decepticons."
"Why?"
Sunstreaker frowned and thought long and hard about it.
"Because the Decepticons want peace and freedom. Autobots are suck up glitches who can shove it up their aft."
"Now now, who said you could use that language young mech?" Their sire scolded playfully as he walked into the room. Sideswipe giggled as Sunstreaker just smiled.
"Now what was this talk about Decepticons?"
*
"We should've went to the Autobots bro."
Sidesiwpe muttered as Sunstreaker bandaged his knee plating. They had just got out of a beating from their superior and that mech could pack a punch.
Sunstreaker glanced up at him and his optics softened.
"I apologize, I thought the Decepticons would be better than this."
"Not your fault." Sideswipe whispered and he reached out and put his servo onto Sunstreaker cheek plating.
Sunstreaker sighed and leaned into the servo, optics moving back down to Sideswipes damaged knee plates.
"It is early enough in the war to switch sides." Sunstreaker said softly, hearing Sideswipes vents catch.
"You..you would do that? Defect?" Sideswipes voice was full of awe and surprise.
Because of his downturned face plates, Sideswipe didn't see the tiny smirk that covered his face.
"Of course I would, your more important than some fraction."
*
"We're actually doing this. We are actually doing this!" Sideswipe shrieked as he ran away from the gun shots behind him and his brother.
"Of course, keep moving dumb aft or they'll catch you!" Sunstreaker bellowed back at him and he tried to run faster.
*
"So..you are former Decepticons?" The recruiter said with a confused but surprised look. Sideswipe just quickly nodded, bouncing in place.
"Of course! Me and Sunshine.." "Don't call me that." "..anyways! Me and Sunny didn't like how the Decepticons beat us, so we decided to come here!"
The recruiter looked horrified, "The Decepticons beat their soilders?" They whispered in a haunted voice.
"Yep! Don't Autobots do that too?"
*
"We have red face-thingys Sunny!" Sideswipe jumped up and down and excitement.
"Inginias you dolt." Sunstreaker said and pinched the bridge of his nose.
"Pretty sure their red face-thingys bro."
"And that's basically our life story!" Sidesiwpe grinned with a snap of his digits.
Cliffjumper dropped his cube of high grade to the floor and it smashed as he gapped at Sideswipe.
"You- what- I-" Arcee fumbled over her words as she stared wide eyed at Sidesiwpe.
Sideswipe shrugged and looked around with a curious expression.
"Hey yo Hoist, truth or dare!"
