10191. The planet Arrakis.
Paul Atreides was travelling with his family to the planet Arrakis. The Atreides family was travelling to Arrakis to manage the spice operation of Melange. Melange was the spice of life. This spice granted people who ingested it a sense of power and being. It also makes space travel possible. Paul was excited to visit Arrakis. He'd spent almost all of his life in the planet Caladan. The planet Caladan was an ocean planet. Think of it as Earth, if Earth was covered with 85% of water. Caladan had been the home of House Atreides for many year. Leto wanted to mine for spice on the planet Arrakis. The planet Arrakis is a desolate planet. There is nothing on the planet Arrakis. The only people that live on the planet Arrakis are a group of people called the Fremen, a group of ferocious fighters who rode the sand worms that inhabited the planet Arrakis.
Paul Atreides liked the planet Arrakis. Upon arriving, Paul wondered why on earth would somebody want to mine for spice on this planet. Paul was fifteen years old. He had an olive complexion. He had blue eyes. He had black hair. Paul also had a younger sister named Alia. Alia was born to Lady Jessica Atreides, who was a Bene Gesserit. The Bene Gesserit were a pseudo-religious organization of all-women spies, nuns, scientists, and theologians who use genetic experimentation, galactic political interference, and religious engineering to further their own agenda of ascending the human race with the advent of their chosen one, the Kwisatz Haderach.
Paul looked up at the sky. It was blue. There wasn't a cloud in the sky. He walked with his father and mother to their new home on Arrakis. He looked at the sandy environment around them. There were these creatures called sand worms that lived within the sands of Arrakis. The sand worms were dangerous. They made the mining of the spice melange on the planet Arrakis almost nigh impossible.
You might be thinking, why can't the people of House Harkonnen, Corrino and Atreides mine for spice someplace else instead of Arrakis if the sand worms were a big problem? There was only one problem: the spice melange was only found on the planet Arrakis. Everybody on the Imperium (The universe in which the Dune series takes place in) wanted melange; for it was the spice of life. Hence the reason how House Atreides ended up in Arrakis; to mine for melange.
Paul and his family looked at the sky. There was a bunch of weird looking ships that were unfamiliar to the Atreides family. The ships were green and yellow colored. The ships were toad Double Bubbles. Double Bubbles were the mother ships that belonged to the Toad Empire. The Toad Empire was a totalitarian dictatorship that was lead by an evil AI named KOMPLEX. Basically it was an amalgamation of Adolf Hitler's regime of World War 2 with Skynet from the Terminator movie franchise. The toad mother ships were descending on the planet of Arrakis. The Atreides family stopped walking and just stood there, looking at the strange ships that had just arrived on the planet Arrakis.
A fleet of toad soldiers landed on the desert wasteland. They got their measuring tools to siphon out the melange spice that was in the sands. The toads were not aware of the sand worms that inhabited this planet. They were about to encounter the sand worms, as well as a family called House Atreides. The Atreides family walked up to the toads. The toads stopped what they were doing and looked at the Atreides family.
"What matter of being are you?" Lady Jessica asked the toad creatures.
"We are the toads." one of the toad soldiers said to Jessica.
"We are House Atreides. I am Duke Leto Atreides. This is my wife Jessica and my son Paul." Leto said to the toads.
"Well, we are going to mine for spice." the toad soldier said.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you." Paul said. "There are vicious sand worms that guard this place. They can eat you and swallow you whole."
The toad soldiers laughed at Paul Atreides's statement about the dangerous sand worms of Arrakis. They weren't afraid of no worm. They were going to mine for spice whether they liked it or not. The toads were about to go back to mining for spice when suddenly a giant sand worm appeared. It appeared slowly. The sand worm was huge. It was menacing. The toads were slightly scared by this. They fired their maser pistols at the huge sand worm. The mser blasts did nothing to the worm. It barely made a dent in it's hide. The sand worm moved very fast toward the toads. All of the toads sprinted back to their ship. They hid there. The Atreides family hid behind a sand dune. The worm soon slunk back into the sands of Arrakis.
The toads soon emerged from the ship and began to collect all the melange they could find. The Toad Air Marshall wanted the spice for it's powers. He wanted to be powerful. Melange was said to give people who ingested it special powers like ESP and extended life. It also made space travel possible. Once all of the toads got the spice that they needed, they high tailed it out of the planet. The Atreides family stood there in shock. The toads just stole one of the most valuable substances in the entire universe. Paul used his communicator to contact anybody who would go to Arrakis and rescue the family.
Meanwhile, in the Aniverse, an orange spaceship zoomed on by through the cosmos. Inside the ship were 5 creatures, 4 males and 1 female. The males were: a green anthropomorphic rabbit, a black anthropomorphic four armed duck, a giant berzerker baboon, and a 14 year old human boy form San Francisco California on the planet Earth. The female was a white furred cat with long flowing pink hair. The rabbit's name was Bucky O'Hare, the duck's name was Deadeye Duck, the baboon's name was Bruiser, the human's name was William DuWitt and the female cat's name was Jenny. They formed an intergalactic crew that was hell bent on defeated the treacherous Toad Empire.
Bucky was just staring off into space. He was thinking about what life was like of Willy's planet on Earth. He and his crew were heading back to the planet Genus. All of a sudden, the ships communicator came on.
"Hello. Anyone there? My name is Paul Atreides of House Atreides. There were these toad like creatures who came onto the planet Arrakis and stole some of the spice melange. The spice melange is the most important thing in the universe. If the toads give the melange to the Baron Vladimir Harkonnen, we're screwed." Paul said through the Righteous Indignation's communicator.
"Where are you at, Paul?" Bucky O'Hare asked Paul.
"Me and my family are on the planet Arrakis. I need you and your crew to come pick me and my family up from Arrakis as soon as possible." Paul said to Bucky.
"This is Bucky O'Hare of the Righteous Indignation. We are on our way to the planet Arrakis. We will obtain the melange from the toads!" Bucky said to Paul Atreides. Bucky O'Hare and his crew headed toward the planet Arrakis to rescue the Atreides family and to stop the toads from giving the melange to House Harkonnen.
