Greetings folks. I have decided to do something other than Helluva Boss as I wait for new episodes to keep me busy. For all it's toxicities, SMG4 still manages to hold up to this day.
As a matter of fact, the crew at Glitch Productions had just finished the recent arc, with the ending being of tragic results (RIP Axol)
God it's gonna take days to recover from that. So anyhow, with there being other SMGs (Super Meme Guardians) like 1, 2, 3, and 4, I think we should follow in the footsteps in this 5-parter prequel before SMGs 9 and 10 set foot into the Mushroom Kingdom.
And it all starts before Zero makes his move onto the Mushroom Kingdom.
SMGs. Also called Super Meme Guardians. They are beings across other universes where they spread various cultures and memes. They assume forms based on the avatars of that universe.
They are also protectors against forms of evil.
The Joyverse was home to two might SMGs, SMG9 and SMG10. Their job was to spread memes and share pop culture around the world.
However, it becomes shattered when an evil virus suddenly makes an appearance and destroys the universe, forcing many residents to evacuate the universe after the Avatar is destroyed.
This is the before hours before the virus appeared and began wreaking havoc...
Part 1: SMG
"Wake up, lazy boy," a voice startled SMG9 awake. He awoke to his big sister, SMG10.
SMG10, known by others as Izzy or Izabela, was standing next to his bed. She was dressed in a black T-shirt with a red jacket and metallic green pants.
SMG9 stirred, his white hair splayed about. He was dressed in his pajamas, which had a music note on it.
SMG9 and 10 were a group of siblings from the Joyverse, where the inhabitants were a mixture of humans, building figures, mecha, and robots which coexisted with each other. You could say the world was like that of a motherboard. Did you ever look at a computer chip and wonder if it looked like a city? That's exactly what the world looks like. One huge mish mash of motherboards and computer chips.
More so the Joy realm was also said to rest between the fault line of both Heaven, Hell, and Purgatory.
There have been threats to the world before. Usually the only way to face the threat is the usage of ones imagination. By that, the limits of the inhabitants of the Joyverse is their imagination as they can summon characters from various forms of IPs to accompany them in battle.
9 got up from his bed and stretched, yawning. 10 left the room as to allow 9 to change into his clothing for today. 9 took a quick shower and then changed into what he wore most: a dress resembling a conductor from an orchestra. He wore white boots and he had a white scarf on top of that.
He walked out to meet up with 10 as they walked downstairs. They met with Fam, the Avatar of the universe they dubbed the Joyverse. Fam is a Robotic Operating Buddy or ROB for short.
"Good morning, 9 and 10," Fam greeted. The two greeted back. Fam had made breakfast for the two: eggs and waffles. Fam of course couldn't eat due to being a robot but he could recharge himself with energy such as fuel and oil.
The two began to discuss their plans for today. 9 had plans to help a couple of elders repair a robot that was malfunctioning. 10 didn't know what she'd do yet. But it seems Fam had something in mind for them after they finished breakfast. By the time they were finished, Fam led them to the basement, "My children. I have something I want to show you something. These things I have will be your guiding heart til the end of time," Fam said.
"What is it you want to show us?" 9 asked.
"Patience, my children," Fam replied. The ROB led the two to a curtain. Upon unraveling it, they were shown two gauntlets. 9 and 10 examined them, "Fam? Uh what are these?" 10 asked.
"My young protectors. For years I've seen you grow into the protectors as Super Meme Guardians. Spreading memes and pop culture around, sharing them to the world. Even the likes of both Heaven and Hell. When the two of you were growing into the strong heroes I see before me now, I've seen the poses and the heroes you look up to from the shows you watch. Man, if I was a human, I'd be crying me eyes out. I'm so proud of you," Fam explained.
"The shows? Wait? Kamen Rider?" 9 asked.
"Super Sentai?" 10 chimed in.
"You guys catch on. These gauntlets, as well as the coins and cards, allow you to become your favorite heroes. Main Kamen Riders for 9 and Sentai Red Rangers for 10 respectively," Fam replied. He handed the gauntlets to them, "Use them well."
The two equipped their gauntlets and stuffed their belongings into their pockets for later use. They even discovered their swords could slide into the socket of the gauntlets like a sword carrier of some kind.
9 began observing the coins he was given from the bag. The coins he were given were based on the main Heisei Kamen Rider: Kuuga, Agito, Ryuki, Faiz, Blade, Hibiki, Kabuto, Den-O, Kiva, Decade, Double, OOO, Fourze, Wizard, Gaim, Drive, Ghost, Ex-Aid, Build, and Zi-O. 9 smiled at this. Kuuga was his favorite because Yusuke, the man who was Kamen Rider Kuuga loved to see people smile, which was what he fought for. It had boy scout superhero written all over it, in a way.
10 was observing the cards she received, which were also Heisei era Sentai Red Rangers, which were Red Rangers from Turboranger, Fiveman, Jetman, Zyuranger, Dairanger, Kakuranger, Ohranger, Carranger, Megaranger, Gingaman, GoGoFive, Timeranger, Gaoranger, Hurricaneger, Abaranger, Dekaranger, Magiranger, Boukenger, Gekiranger, Go-Onger, Shinkenger, Goseiger, Gokaiger, Go-Busters, Kyoryuger, ToQGer, Ninninger, Zyuohger, Kyuranger, LuPat, and Ryusoulger respectively. To think she had alot of the main Red Sentai Rangers was astonishing.
The two SMGs decided to go about the rest of the day with their antics, shenanigans, and other activities, though they kept their eyes open for whatever threat would come their way. But just a few hours later, their universe would come to an end from an extraterrestrial monster...

Hey guys. Sorry if this is short. I had a bit of writer's block there. Now I know it seems overpowered for them to have all of that power at the start. But don't worry. They won't have it all for long. You'll see as soon as the two enter the Mushroom Kingdom after Zero makes his attack on the Joyverse before the two land in the Glitchverse where SMG4 and 3 reside. Anyway, I'll try to make some of the chapters as long as I can provided I don't end up with writer's block...geez I hate when that happens. Next chapter, expect some surprises too. Speakonia out!
