You know I just gave you my love

Secret Love…

~0~

Cedric finally woke up, with the rays of sunshine from the outside, who wouldn't?

He arched his back slowly as he hopped out from his bed.

"Ceddy-kins! It's time for school!"

Hearing this made Cedric wonder to himself, perhaps he was just new to the whole thing – or he had completely forgot about the this important day

"Oh damn" Cedric gasped, finally realizing what today is supposed to be "It is today!"

He immediately rushed to the bathroom to prepare, eager to race the time and be as quick as possible. Finally, Cedric reached out to his family robe and wand as he took his bag out to leave

"Make sure to visit during the holidays, Ceddykins!" Winifred yelled

His father, Goodwyn, went up to him and rested his hand on his shoulder

"Don't forget about what I told you" He whispered while slowly sneaking something in Cedric's hand

It was the rosary of Santa Maria. A very notorious instrument to fight off monsters and beasts

Cedric scoffed upon realizing how silly this is

"Pa, I told you already, there are no such things as monsters"

"You keep saying that, but you don't know for sure" The Wizard responded "It's better to be prepared"

"And also…" he added, showing him a photo of what seemed like an amulet with a purple glow on it

"If you can somehow find any information about this…"

"I know… I know…." Cedric finished while scratching his head "The Amulet of Avalor, the amulet that holds a very powerful source of magic…"

The wizard chuckled in addition as he smacked his back for him to leave. Winifred also went to his side to bid the young sorcerer a proper farewell

"Too bad your sister couldn't be here to see you off…" Winifred stated

"Alright, you're good to go lad, have fun in RavenMoore"

Cedric gave a nod of respect, internally groaning for that thing he did. He's not usually the most athletic tool in the shed

"Of course, I'll make you guys proud of me"

"Tell me kid, what made you choose RavenMoore of all schools"

The coachman asked, which caught the young sorcerer's attention. He had a typical generic uniform for coaches, but the shadow from his hat hid his eyes well

"I honestly don't know," Cedric responded while looking at the windows "My parents just somehow received a invitation letter from a raven one day… and now I'm here"

The coachman sniggered in response, his eyes not even leaving the road. "I'd watch your back if I were you kid"

Cedric then took suspicion of this

"Is something wrong with that school?"

"You'd just have to find out for yourself, Cedric."

"Wait… how did you know my n–"

Suddenly, the carriage stopped. Which gave out an outside view of the school from the opening of the bus. It was faster than he expected

"We arrived, kid" he said with a nefarious smile

"Have fun"

The carriage left swiftly, which Cedric failed to even apprehend. That was certainly strange, he mentioned something about that school… and he knows his name!

But upon setting his sights for the surroundings, a huge fright came over him. The sky was still blue, but there was mist everywhere. It was chilly, and the old stooped leaves-less trees only added to the creepy atmosphere. The path is definitely too scary and eerie for a way to an actual school

Either ways, there's no turning back now for the young Sorcerer. And so, Cedric walked forward. The path was steepy, as the stare from a hundred ravens laying on the tree trunks made it even more scary

"I guess that's why they call it RavenMoore"

He kept an enthusiastic mindset – at least he won't be here forever. And for once, his parents will be proud of him when he returns

Despite the scary surroundings, perhaps he was just being too farfetched.

Hi… my name is Cedric

Well, my friends call Ced, or Rick…

Oof, who am I kidding? I barely have people to talk to

But that is gonna change, because starting today…

A sudden series of footsteps from afar caught his attention. He turned, and what he saw was a feint figure of a dress before stumbling to the ground

Something has hit him, it wasn't that heavy, but the impact surely made him lose his balance

"ow, that hurts…" A high pitched feminine voice came from the top which he heard from the ground. For some reason, something was on top of him

He wanted to scream, but he couldn't. He opened his eyes, and he saw nothing but darkness. His lips was muffled by something, but he doesn't know what it was.

"Is something sitting on my face… what is going on?"

"Oh my gosh!" the feminine voice echoed from above, as the weight finally stood up

Agitated, Cedric then turned to this troublemaker to give him an earful, but upon turning to her…

A sight of a beautiful woman stumbled upon his vision

She had beautiful auburn hair, fair cream skin, and long eyelashes which compliments her bright sky blue eyes

Cedric was stunned there for a moment for what he saw, it's like… he saw an angel.

The "Angel" then turned to him and gave a warm smile

"Are you all right?" she asked, which was enough to break the young boy's trance

"Oh umm…. Yeah I'm good"

A scratch from his forehead revealed a blood, which he didn't notice.

"You're bleeding!" The girl exclaimed as she pulled out her handkerchief

Suddenly, this "angel" twitched her nose with her eyes closed. She leaned in closer to Cedric which made him take a step back. She was now completely sniffing him which made Cedric uncomfortable

"Your… smell…"

Did he smell? He was pretty sure he took a bath before leaving the house. As he turned back to her, her hair was close to his nose

"She smells so good~"

She was now panting for some reason. Perhaps she was exhausted on the way here, or she was lost in the way.

The girl finally opens her eyes, as Cedric stared back. She held his shoulders with her surprisingly strong and tight grip

"I can't… take it much longer…"

"Wait, what can't you take much longe…"

His speech was interrupted when she suddenly swooped in his neck, which he felt a surprise pain from. He groaned slowly in response, not processing what was currently happing, Cedric tried to get her off, but her grip was way too strong on his shoulders

Was she… biting him?.

A certain quote from his father reminisced in Cedric's memories

"Those monsters are real, I tell ya. You'd believe me when you see one in the near future"

The girl finally pulled back, wiping the red liquid on her lower lip as she smiled

"Oh my Gosh!" she exclaimed, releasing her hold unto him "I'm so sorry… I didn't mean to"

Cedric could only step back as response, still not believing what's happening at this moment. His stare was rigid and a surprised expression filled his face

"You bit me!?"

The girl smiled in response as she gave him a curtsy in addition. She then picks up his book from the ground that he dropped when the collision happened

"Your name is Cedric?" The girl uttered as she was reading his book "And you're also a student of RavenMoore Academy..."

She then turned to him with smile

"My name is Princess Sofia of Enchancia…" She greeted in a polite manner.

"And I'm a vampire!" She added with her hands clamped together and her eyes closed

Cedric paused, quite fazed with what he had just heard. He thought it was ridiculous – there is no way vampires exist to him

He then caressed his neck, which was surprisingly in the same state, it was bruised a little bit, but it didn't seem damaged in the least

It didn't even hurt that much when she bit him, felt just like an ant's bite to be precise

"Nah, it can't be" he thought to himself upon having a better view of her face

"She can't be a vampire, I would've been gone by now if she was… Probably just some weirdo who wants to be a vampire, oh well…"

"So uhmm…" Sofia's voice took him out of his thoughts. She was now fidgeting to herself while staring at the ground.

"What do you think about vampires" she gave him an adorable look that could literally make someone melt

"Hah, I knew, she's one of those deluded ones." Cedric thought to himself while watching her

"Well, I don't have a problem with that."

"I say, you do you, Sofia." Cedric smiled in response

Sofia's face lit up upon hearing this

"Er… I mean, Princess Sofia!"

The girl nodded her head as she went closer to him

"No it's okay, you can just call me Sofia" she hummed close

"As long as we can be friends… can I be your friend?"

With Sofia being close, Cedric was able to know what she smelled like. And she smelled like everything fragrant in this word, this made Cedric daydream for a second

But her stare brought him back yet again, as he flinches to himself. He then chuckled nervously

"Of course, let's be friends, Sofia!"

Her eyes glistened with shimmering joy upon hearing this as she literally pounced unto him

"Really?" A happy smile forms on her face "I'm so so so happy!"

Cedric was wrapped by her strong hold, as he was forced to snuggle close to her. Her hands rested on his head, pushing him closer to her chest

"Why was she so strong" he asked internally

Her thoughts were diverted when he notices that his cheek was literally on her breasts, this made him nervous, hoping she would notice

But unfortunately, she was way too engrossed of her joy to do so

"Damn, better luck next time, Carl"

"It's Cedric, but thanks"

My classmates then left upon uttering that farewell. Should I be happy? perhaps no. And I now I'm in this empty classroom with nothing but the results of the exam on the board

With my sorry scores, it would take a miracle for the school to accept me again, alongside with my terrible performance and low grades

Why did I have to be such a failure?

But all of that happened when for some reason, my parents received letter from a random raven who went by the house. It turns out that it was actually an invitation to an unknown school called "RavenMoore"

"Arent you glad, Ceddy-kins!?" Winifred stated with joy

"Now you won't have to repeat the year anymore"

"Yeah, but isn't this kinda shady.."

"The location is quite unknown too, but it's on the North." Goodwyn interjected

"And you know what that means…"

My father is a big conspiracy theorist on monsters despite not being able to see one in his long career as a sorcerer. Still, he insisted that they exist, and that they live in secluded areas like the North

"That you're happy we don't have to spend anything with this school?"

"No you idiot!" he interjected fast "Well, that's conventional… but that's not the point!"

"Deep within those woods, I'm sure they hide and watch. These monsters who wouldn't hesitate to kill and shred you to pieces!"

"Pa, how can you be so sure if you haven't seen one before"

"I can feel it deep within, these creatures are just waiting for the right time to act, and when that happens…"

Boom!

Cedric finally broke off from his reverie, he was spacing out on a scarecrow outside from his window. He was currently sitting in his seat at the back, where the teachers would find trouble to find him for recitations

"Sometimes, my genius is just too much" He smiled as he thought to himself. With him in his new classroom seat, every class session will be over before he even realizes

It's official, he was now a student of RavenMoore Academy. The school seems to be for the high-class students with established background, so it's a riddle why the heck it isn't well known throughout then

Either ways, a school with lots of facilities is something Cedric would be happy for. This whole school thing will be a breeze as always for the young sorcerer

There seems to be nothing strange about the place, except for the eerie atmosphere and the Halloween theme.

"Why would they have those strange decorations anyways?" he slowly mumbled to himself

"You can roam the school, it has lots to offer that you definitely should check out!"

Cedric almost forgot that there was actually a teacher speaking in front. It has been a habit of him to be apathetic about class discussions and such

Her name was Veronica, a beautiful looking blonde with a curvaceous body. She had light hazel eyes, reflected from her thick glasses

She was also wearing cat ears for some reasons and a tail. Cedric didn't really know the whole appeal of costumes and such, but this is too much, especially in a professional setting

"Just make sure to never reveal to anyone your true monster form!"

Cedric twitched upon that last statement. She was talking about something that didn't make sense to him.

He wanted to raise his hand, but a sudden voice from the front halted him

"I know this is sudden, but I'm pretty sure I can sense a human in here"

Cedric's grew intrigued upon hearing that.

"Oh, it's probably just your imagination, Max. No human could enter the premises" Miss Veronica explained carefully

"This school is protected by a barrier that keeps all non-monsters out."

Cedric cannot believe what he's hearing, "What are they talking about? Is this really a school for monsters?"

"And if a human somehow snuck in here… they'd be killed in an instant!"

This was enough for the young sorcerer to be thoroughly scared. He was trembling in fear and he hid his face with a book from the table

"What kind of sick prank are they playing, because this is not cool even for a joke" he thought to himself

Suddenly, the discussion was interrupted when a certain person came into the room

"Hello Miss. Veronica, I'm sorry I was late!"

The whole class cheered upon her arrival, such a beauty has descended upon the room and the men are now smitten by her

Cedric slowly peeked from the book, and saw the girl he stumbled upon from earlier. The girl who claimed she was a vampire and even bit his neck

"I'm in the same class with that girl too?" he thought to himself

"Just my luck…"

The classroom was filled with cheers and hollers, obviously smitten by the beauty in front of them

Cedric then hid in his book even more, hoping she would not find him in any means whatsoever. There were still lots of open seats in front, and this thought made Cedric relieved from his dilemma

But suddenly, he felt a tap on his back. He turned, and saw the girl herself now sitting behind his chair

"Hello~"

Cedric groaned at this, he was sure he hid himself well, but for some reason, she still spotted him

"It's nice that we're in the same class!" She whispered in a delighted manner

The young sorcerer didn't respond

"Oh, I hope you didn't mind. I was able to know you were here because of the scent of your blood"

Slowly, Cedric turned to her. He wanted to unhear what he just heard because of how creepy it was, but with this girl literally close to him – that's impossible.

She responded to his gaze with a smile.

"Let's get along well, Cedric~"

"It's really chilly here, right?"

"Yeah…"

Cedric responded without any hint of enthusiasm which made Sofia worried. She took a closer look of his face, which he responded with a force smile

"I mean… It is really chilly in this spot!"

They were currently spending lunch break at the balcony of the school, away from the other students. This means they had the place for themselves and they were alone at the spot. The young sorcerer was forcefully dragged with Sofia's ridiculous strength and Cedric couldn't say otherwise

And now he was stuck with her for the time-being

The view was phenomenal from Cedric's point-of-view, quite contradictory about the fact that this school is made by monsters, of monsters and for monsters

He then glances to his right, where Sofia was drinking her tomato juice. He still couldn't believe that this girl beside her is actually a vampire

Was she really?

"What's wrong, Cedric?" Sofia asked upon finally catching his glance

"I was just thinking… you don't look much like a vampire, Sofia"

Sofia was astounded upon hearing this, but she eventually caught on after a few moments. A smile forms on her face as she opens up a button on her chest

"Look here"

Upon looking at her, Cedric immediately looked away with the area she was pertaining on for him to gaze. Her full cleavage was at view when she unbuttoned two buttons from her inner shirt

"Wha… I can't look there.." Cedric forced himself to gaze at something else but her cleavage

"It's okay, look here…" her voice was calm and reassuring, which made Cedric shift his attention back to her chest, but this time, he noticed something

Cedric took a closer look, and this amulet was strangely familiar for some reason. It had a certain design to it that he's sure he'd seen somewhere before…

It was then he realized that this was indeed the amulet his father was looking for

The Amulet of Avalor!

"This is my amulet, if I were to ever to take this off – I would change, into a very powerful and frightening vampire"

"A powerful and frightening vampire?"

Sofia nodded "That's why I wear it, it's a charm to seal all my powers away. I can't even take it off myself…" Her eyes lingered of uncertainty, as if she was nervous and scared of revealing such a revelation

A brief silence filled the air, before the young sorcerer finally uttered a word

"That's okay…"

Sofia immediately turned to him after hearing this, her eyes glistened of hope, anticipating he would understand

"I mean… even if you would change into that, I'm pretty sure you would be the same Sofia"

This was enough for the princess as she threw her hands on his shoulders for a warm embrace. Her face was all lit up with happiness

"Aww, You're my first friend, I knew you would understand!" she hummed with joy

"And also…" she pulled away, hesitating "I should tell you that you were my first… in that way too, Cedric…"

"In that way...?"

Sofia looked at him this time, a blush was on her face with her cheeks red as a tomato that she was just drinking

"Ever since then, I've only had tomato juice as a treat. I've never sucked anyone's blood before" she slowly confessed with her fingers twiddling to each other "And then you came along… and then…"

Her nose twitched yet again, which was a bad omen for the sorcerer. Her eyes was closed as she took a step closer to him

She slowly wraps her hands on her neck, as she pulls in close, opening her mouth which revealed her little fangs to Cedric

And the last thing he saw was…

"There's somewhere I have to go, Sofia!" he suddenly exclaimed, which separated himself from Sofia

"W-Wait!" Sofia reached out, but he was too far already.

Cedric didn't even bother to look back, the vision he had at that moment was enough to fully convince him that she was indeed a vampire. A silver haired lady who looked very fierce and intimidating with bright crimson eyes and longer fangs.

"I can't believe it" Cedric thought to himself while dashing through the halls "She really is a vampire!"

"So that must mean that everyone in this school is also a monster!"

He paused for a second to catch his breath. Now realizing it all, every student looked like humans, but deep inside, there's a scary monster beneath those facades

"Either ways, I have to get out of here…" He thought to himself while looking at the hallways

"Fast!"

Holding his bag to himself, Cedric stood in front of the entrance of RavenMoore for the last time. Mesmerizing the scenery of this academy before leaving for good

"This place is not for me" he mumbled to himself before finally turning his heel to walk away

"Cedric!"

He halted in his tracks, his eyes wide open and his expression was agitated. He damned himself for not leaving fast, and now, he's been caught on by the girl he didn't want to see off before leaving

Sofia reached out for him this time "You were acting weird there, Cedric"

It didn't take long before she notices that he was carrying his bag

"Are you… leaving?"

"Look Sofia, I really like you but I think I should go to a human school"

A sudden prang of hurtful emotion rushed to Sofia upon hearing this.

"No! she ran to him and grabbed his bag which the young sorcerer resisted "You can't go to a human school Cedric…"

Her words lingered of fear as Cedric turned around just to see Sofia's sad expression with tears on the corner of her eyes

"The humans… they're horrible. I went to a human school before and they didn't believe in monsters and vampires, and I felt like… I didn't belong there"

Sofia caressed his cheek with a hurtful smile on her face "But you don't have to deal with those horrible beings, Cedric. You can just stay here with me in RavenMoore"

"What if… What if the humans that you hate so much…" Cedric bowed his head down to avoid her gaze

"What if I'm one of them…"

Confusion filled the young maiden's face as she looked at him

"What do you mean, Cedric?"

"It's true, I am a human" he finally confessed "and the reason why I ended up here is because of some major mix up"

Sofia took a step back, creating some distance from them. Her eyes screamed of terror and fear which was showing

"No way… no human could've even gotten in here"

Cedric raised his head to look at her, and her expression was enough for him to make a conclusion. All throughout his life, he had to deal with the same expressions from everyone

The people who looked down on him, or just saw him as a failure not even worthy of anything

"I should've known you'd look at me like that."

Cedric clenched his fists to his side, but his eyes still stared at the ground

"But it's okay… I don't need you." He was mumbling slow.

When suddenly…

"I don't need monsters for friends anyways!"

His voice was loud enough to make the ravens scatter to the skies. It struck Sofia, which stunned her at that moment. Cedric felt bad about this as guilt prang to him, but he didn't care anymore, or at least he pretended he didn't

He then ran to the other direction, leaving Sofia alone by herself

"Wait! Cedric!" She called out as she chases after him

"Don't look back, don't look back" he kept repeating to himself while making his way to the deep woods

It screamed of freight, with the ravens watching him with their red eyes upon returning. A chilly breeze passed by, alongside with the steepy path ahead. Despite this, Cedric knew he had to push on. This place isn't for him, and he'd rather be a failure to his father than to spend another day in this place

Reaching a cliff, Cedric stopped in his tracks to rest for a bit. He must've taken the wrong path

"Cedric!"

Her voice echoed through the deep woods, which bounced to him. She was nearby, and this brought agitation to the restless Sorcerer

"Why did she chase me here!" he slowly whispered under his breath to avoid being spotted. He hid just behind a huge stump of tree which provided as diversion

Suddenly, a slow growl was heard from behind. Cedric turned, and a pack of wolves was slowly stalking him from behind.

"Cedric, there you are!"

Sofia's voice was loud which attracted the attention of the pack. Cedric was now at full view, but unfortunately, she came at the wrong time. Without hesitation, Cedric pulled out his wand and ran in front of Sofia to protect her

"Stay away you beasts" he pointed his wand at them

Despite this, the wolves pressed on. Their growls eventually turned into a full frightening roar which brought pressure into the young sorcerer. It was then he remembered that he didn't know a single spell, and that the wand was simply for show

"Quick, get out of here now!" he grunted at her while turning from his side

"You are a Sorcerer!?" Sofia's voice from behind caught his attention. She sounded impressed and amazed

"This is not really a good time, Sofia" he responded

Suddenly, the wolf pounced on him which made him crash to the nearest tree. The poor sorcerer groaned in pain as response

"Cedric!" Sofia cried

The wolves now stalked the girl that was behind him. Without the sorcerer in the way, they can finally jump Sofia

But this didn't happen as the Sorcerer ran back to her front, and kept her back with his hand. His wand sparked this time which scared of the wolves

Out of nowhere, a wolf that was stalking from behind Sofia growled loudly which they caught on. Without hesitation, Cedric switched places with Sofia which caused him to be struck by the wolf instead of Sofia

"Cedric noo!"

Sofia immediately came up to Cedric's aid, he slowly opens his eyes, and notices Sofia's tears dripping on his face.

"Sofia…" he slowly mumbled, eager to wipe the tears from her eyes "I… realized that… I don't really care if you're a vampire or anything in particular."

"You're my friend… and I don't want to see you get hurt" he added before falling to the ground, Cedric reached out to Sofia, as his hand rested on her amulet, which was accidentally pulled off

A huge wave of bats swarmed Sofia out of nowhere, as the bright moon from the sky turned into a reddish hue alongside with the sudden cold breeze of the wind.

Cedric raised his head, and noticed Sofia's entire build was covered with bats. She was standing before the cliff which gave a great silhouette of her frame

The bats finally flew, which revealed her form. Her hair was silver, bright crimson eyes, an even fuller bust and curvy waist.

When the rosary's seal over her chest is removed

Sofia's innocent self vanishes… and her inner vampire awakens.

She stood before the wolves which she made quick work off. She punched the first wolf to his pack, which frightened the other wolves. A kick followed, which made the poor wolf squeal in agony.

In an instant, a couple of wolves tried to sneak behind her. They jumped her from behind, surrounding her fully from every direction. Watching this brought concern to Cedric, but suddenly, the same wolves flew from every direction with Sofia's strength

Cedric couldn't believe what he was watching. She was too strong for those poor wolves. This is the true power of a real vampire.

This was enough for the wolves to fall back, they were now shivering with what they just witnessed. Sofia then gave them a final frightening glare with her bright crimson eyes which was the final verdict

Upon the wolves's departure, Sofia made her way to Cedric who was cornered on a tree. He was way too weak and exhausted to even fight back, this was his final push to be conscious as he finally fell to himself but Sofia was there to catch him before finally falling to the ground.

"I wonder who is the real Sofia…"

She held him close with her face on her chest, she was surprisingly gentle despite her great immense strength. Cedric snuggled closer, her breasts clamping his cheeks, in which a familiar scent caught his attention.

His eyelids were about to fall, as he was about to fully lose consciousness

"But her sweet smell… it's the same as before"

~0~

"Look who it is… the biggest loser of the bunch"

"Why do I have to be partnered with you?"

"Eh, can you like… not talk to us"

"Why are you here… go somewhere"

Throughout my life, I've never felt like I belonged somewhere. Everyone was against me for my feeble shortcomings. I was treated as an outcast with no regard for greatness.

Sometimes, I pretended not to care, not to be affected… even though at times I felt crushed to see that nobody wants to be near me at all

I'm a failure… and always will be.

But perhaps…

Perhaps I can change all that… and start over.

~0~

Cedric opened her eyes, and Sofia's gentle and caring face was the first thing he saw. He immediately sat up upon realizing that he was laying on her lap this entire time

"I'm sorry about that" Cedric turned to her, and the Sofia from before has returned. Her long auburn hair, sky blue eyes and innocent smile

"Good Evening" She greeted at him with a warm smile

Cedric was astonished for a second

"Wait a second… did I dream all this?"

Sofia then cupped his cheeks with her hands as she leaned in closer

"You have a scratch, Cedric" Sofia looked at him with concern as she reached out for her handkerchief

Cedric was about to wipe it off, but was stopped midway by Sofia. Gently, she wiped the blood off from his cheek as Cedric could only watch silently

Mom, Dad and sister Cordelia, I know this letter probably won't reach you soon because of the complicated mix-up but I'm writing it anyways.

It has been a rough start at the RavenMoore Academy, and it is a pretty odd place overall

To tell you the truth, I even wanted to pack up and leave right away on the first day

But somehow, I decided to stay for a while to see how things go. And believe it or not, I even made a friend here. She might be strange and unlike anyone I've met before

Well… she likes my…

"Cedric."

The young sorcerer returned to his senses upon hearing her call his name

"Yeah?"

Sofia was now sniffing her handkerchief drenched in his blood. Her eyes lingered of hunger and thirst as she slowly looked at him

"C-Cedric… I'm sorry"

She jumped to him, and bit his neck in an instant which Cedric responded with a groan

"Aw, Merlyn's Mushrooms"

The sky was getting dark, with the moon illuminating the cliff from afar. The trees stood tall and a gentle breeze of the wind passing by. It was definitely a chilly night for the both of them

A smile formed on Sofia's lips, excited to see what lies ahead with her new friend who happens to have the tastiest blood that she just can never resist
